ShareMe (MiDrop) - Transfer files without internet

Actual file sharing with this apk is decent once you get past the preliminary ads. You have two devices and you get ads on both devices before you are able to transfer anything. What is particularly annoying is that in order to skip the video you have to hit the "skip video" button at least half a dozen times and then you have to hit the tiny x in order to close the entire ad. Really really annoying. I mean to say that the ads are truly, unbelievably ANNOYING.

5 star product is now 0 🌟 due to permanent on screen ads along with full screen video ads screaming out at full volume everytime I interact with the app, & no mention that they exist anywhere on the play store. Sneaky rats 🐀🐀 are at it again. Bye bye ShareMe. I will build an app identical to this (AdFree), & post it here for all. Bad move with the ads, and even worse move not telling anyone or providing Google with the knowledge that you added them either. 👎🏼 All bug fixes are new ads. 👎🏼

The app used to be good and had clean UI. But xiaomi ruined this as well. They have added a watch video option like tiktok etc. and eventually they will show ads. The app which started as ad free now going to be ruined. They speed is going down and other things are growing in the app.

I started using this app after I discovered it had ftp capabilities which is what I needed for quick photo transfers without my usb cable. I do love this app now especially with the ads gone. Review changed from 1 to 5 stars. Update 5/24/2022: Still does what I need but the ads have returned. 5-star lowered to 3-star.

Transfer speed too slow. Took almost 10 minutes to transfer a 315mb file... and top of that the post transfer review says the transfer speed was of 19mb/s. Get your maths right nuts... If it was 19mb/s it would only take 17 seconds to transfer the file.

Best transfer file app ever used. So far connecting is easy and stable. I've transferred almost 100GB of music between handsets in no time at all. Easy to use and get running. Love it and highly recommend this app.

Bring back the good, old UI. The connecting time is like a year now. ShareMe was the best file sharing app for Android devices. I switched from Jioswitch to ShareMe because it was a lot better, but now ShareMe is becoming like the former. Make it faster to connect with other devices. Developers, make it easier to share files with Windows PC because manually connecting to hotspot takes a lot of time. Develop a separate application for Windows, so that files can be shared from Windows to Android.

So I was transferring images and videos from Redmi note 6 pro to Xiaomi 11T pro. The transfer failed after reaching about 80% and the camera folder was deleted from my new phone and all the photos and videos on my new phone were deleted. I have lost all of my data. Please help me with the steps to recover if any. Truly disappointed. Solution for this will truly be helpful.

Very nice app. Helpful for transfer of big files especially the videos. Even people not conversant with transfer procedure can do it without any one's support. Good user friendly application. Liked it.

It was one of the best File sharing app. But inclusion of cleaner and its frequent notification that 900mb cache needs to be clean is really irritating... I hope Google will soon improve the usability of Nearby Share so that all other junk (sharing) apps will become obsolete.

What happened to ShareMe? It is simple as file sharing/transferring app before but now a bloated and ads infested app. I don't want a cleaner that notified me everytime. There is another app for that. What a waste of phone space

Disabled the app's auto open but guess what? Hi bro... Check out your junk. Forced stopped it, hours later... Hi again bro, Look You got caches to clean. OMG just can You please stop with every single kf your apps running in the background when it is literally already forced stopped and not a single living thing open it but then it runs automatically in background. I'm starting to consider uninstalling all Mi app in my Pocophone now. My god the annoying thing You applied these days to your apps

I gave this 5 stars back in 2019. Now in 2022, they have RUINED IT with ads and the really messy user interface with all the extra useless "features" like ShareIt. Why do developers ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get greedy? This used to be a great alternative to ShareIt, but now they're the same garbage ad-riddled app. What a real shame.

This is the world's Most Worst File sharing App i have ever seen apart from Add free it's only having cons:- 1--- It does collect your information 2--- It's having a clear Trash option, with having no option to Disable the Cache detection option. 3--- Before clearing Cashe it doesn't show what are the datas which is about to deleted. 4--- Also the Ridiculous clear Trash option doesn't ask for consent before deleting any important data. I have lost my 4 years important Datas.

The app starts up by itself even when denied background permissions and start-up permissions... So basically the app is like an annoying fly. It keeps popping its notification telling you "you can clear some storage" when its only purpose should be SHARING FILES! Ads are fine... But useless notifications and working the way you want and not the user's is a big NO. 1 star otherwise 5 if not for this charade.

It was my favorite file sharing app. After last update they begin to show up tons of adv with a useless clearing feature. I stopped using the app.

Beautiful UI, easy to use, clearly my favourite app for sharing, also has a trash cleaner to free up some space on your phone. And so far, there's only small amount of ads.

The app is too good. Any file send within seconds and data transfer speed also good.

It used to be usefull, but now with 4 ads for a 30s transfer is worse than ever. Other alternatives offer better user experience

I choose this over other sharing apps because it had less ads ... Now it is FULL OF FRIKKIN ADS... One star for the ads... Gonna raise to 5 stars if the ads are reduced....

Its headek to connect always with qr codes. Difficult to send and receive files. Please make ur app like shareit.

WOW!!! This is actually amazing. Google photos = 20 minutes for a 2 gig video, this sent 4 in 10 minutes. Impressive and totally functional! Thank you!!!
