Shark - Music

I love it because they give you a good free experience and don't limit you with stupid stuff like the most popular alternatives, all you gotta bear with are ads. I didn't experience the glitches other people are talking about but maybe I haven't been using it long enough. I think they take the audio from youtube videos for some songs wich (for me at least) it's fantastic cause I could find any song from "amateur" to really popular artists. Some things I think they could improve to add a way to organize (change order) of songs in playlists and, even though this wasn't a problem for me, I think people could make use of a better songs and artists recommendation system, Maybe based on your past listening data.

Workable. Easly search artists for songs, but not every link is right. Since this takes YouTube audio sometime videos go down or get locked So then it's linked source for the song gets messed up. I'd say about 85% of songs are perfect. Plays well screen is off but this only constantly works in wifi. It works vetter if you open the "currently playing" controls then lock the phone, weird. The app looks nothing like the pics but it works better than other free apps so I give it a solid B rating 👍

The update looks good visually, unfortunately it's impossible to use the app now as background playback does not work at all! Once the screen shuts off, playback stops within a few seconds and resumes once you wake up the phone. Needless to say the notification tray controls dont work either, as well as the time scrubber. I hope that at the very least the background play gets fixed as without it the app is essentially broken.

App doesn't work at all. Can't register, login or do anything. Error message appears when trying to log in once registered, "email address badly formatted". My email address is not badly formatted. The entire start of the Shark app itself is badly formatted and badly made. Really looking forward to using it as well. Thank god for SoundCloud! 👏🏼

Overall, I like it, but I have two problems. Whenever I add a song, it adds a song that I never added and when I add a song, it duplicates it. The second issue is that there is no favorite button. Those are my only issues. I really like the app, though.

everytime I open this app in the last 3 days, can't get a single song to play....a music app I once loved is about to be deleted and forgotten. doesn't seem as if any fixes will be done to this app. well today is 5/1/19 and still can't play any songs on this app. saying goodbye to this once awesome app that's now not worth the space it takes up on my phone..

I used to LOVE is app and would tell my friends about it but now it's soo glitch and buffering and cutting off all the time that I'm telling people to avoid it I still love the app and if it was fixed so it didn't buffer or glitch I'd use it again-still doesn't work even after downloading the newer version!! 😢😡

Works great almost all the issues from before have been fixed. Still some minor issues like the slider doesn't work and loading sometimes takes a minute on rare occasions.

Music still stops when app isn't open. I've pinned it specifically not to close and the app is still in my push notifications and acting as if it's playing, but returning to the app causes it to restart.

while it is a good app for streaming music, it eats some data and at any time will not play music. When it doesn't play the music it's the most annoying.

Ive always loved grooveshark and when the site closed it made me so down, for the longest time I've been trying to remember what the site was called and then all of a sudden the name popped into my head but when i went to the site i put in my account info and it said that they didnt have any account by that email, is my music lost forever???? If there is any way i could get it back, id be so ecstatic!!

I love this app but one thing I wish that existed is automatic playlists. If you choose a music, it will play playlist that is related to original song.

Very good streaming service, but there is no have options to synchronize offline. Also, the app performance is very slow !!

I imagine that this app with you quite well for people who actually know what music they're looking for but I wonder what about those of us who haven't the foggiest idea who just want a branch off from two or three songs that we know to try and make an album this app doesn't have any features that allow for that

Worked a lot better for a few weeks. Now back to same issue of not playing any music at all, not from search or prom playlist.

I think this app has a bug. Many times it just doesn't play music. Keeps loading. But when it works, it's good.

used to love this app, now no songs will load, the band images won't load, sorry but I have to uninstall..... shame. hope you get this working again soon.

Such a good and free app, not 100% perfect but 99.9% pleasure and cool well done and thanks. compare to those famous paid apps there is no way to hesitate this is the best you can get

whenever I open it it's just a white screen with an add on the upper side. I tried force stopping the app many times to fix the problem but it didn't work

Unable to register an account just says email badly formatted even when it is a completely valid Gmail, am hoping this can get fixed because I loved using the shark music app in the past

Decent music selection. Mobile website and app both could use a little optimization.

Unfortunately screen doesn't rotate. Makes it hard to use with a large phone and in a car

I love this app. Sometimes glitchy but totally worth it. Not too bad. Just close the app and reopen.
