Shattered Pixel Dungeon

The game will not be fair to you and it will not be easy to beat. But, the more satisfying the accomplishment will feel once you see the final screen. Due to the challenges and different classes the game is very replay-viable. The developer deserves all the praise and the donations. Just awesome. Thanks for the experience.

It's clear a lot of time goes into this pixel dungeon, and devs continue to work on it. The game is highly fun, challenging, and rewarding. Each run is unique and the dungeon shows no mercy as you delve deeper and deeper. One thing I do think the game is lacking is more variety where armor is concerned. A lot of my runs start the same; find scale or plate armor and level it. Most everything else about the game is great.

What a fantastic little (or big?) gem. I have only been playing for a day and am enamored. The attention to detail, varied character and equipement mechanics coupled with randomized dungeoneering make for addictive and rewarding gameplay. I can't wait to keep playing, unlocking more of the dungeon and character options, secrets, abilities and so much more. I know I have only scratched the surface and look forward to discovering more! A true work of passion and genius 👏🏼

Phenomenal game! Gives you the challenge of dungeoniering with the nuance of turn based strategy while being almost real-time. Such a well developed game, the stand out forerunner in the pixel dungeon world. Edit a month later: I have put over 100 hours into this game and still finding new things, best game I have played on the mobile! The difficulty is merely a challenge that makes every run-through unique.

3rd review. Came back to see new content. Doesn't mean better game. Harder than before... There's a difference between a challenge and playing the same levels over and over. Great to see new added parts to the levels... But now can't even see past lvl10. Definition of insanity = doing the same thing and expecting something different. Well... Same few levels again and again and never getting to see MORE content/levels/other parts of the game does not appeal. Shame. Uninstalled.

I enjoy it, would be a 5 star but I've never gotten that far and I'm salty.. People say that you need to get the items to identify potions, but I played for a while and it's not too hard to guess. And they say how they never get strength potions but I always get at least 1 on the 1st or 2nd level and another on the 3rd or 4th so it's not too bad. Cursed items are a bit common, but I usually just go for it or don't use any items, so it's not that bad. Overall, a great game. c: 😊 😁

Hi Guys and developers! I would like to tell you all that I successfully finished 1 game for a year of playing in my free times. I've used Huntress > Warden > Spectral Blades and luckily obtained two grass wands(I forgot the name😂) and a lucky ring that I've upgraded to 100+% so the drop rate of runes, potions, scroll, and items skyrocketed. The two grass wands are essential on the later parts of the game, as they root enemies and block their vision (counters the eye and disables thescorpion.)

Pixel Dungeons. Around 4 or so years ago my brother and I discovered original version of this game. We loved playing this game as much as one loves a good hour or nine in Minecraft, and it kept us entertained all the time; at home, on road trips--anywhere! When we discovered THIS version of the game, however, it changed everything. This game is so much more intricate and balanced than its predecessor, and is a pillar of the 'fight, loot, and explore' genre. Take my $20 support. You deserve it.

When I first downloaded this version of pixel dungeon more than a year or so ago, it was fun and added a few interesting options outside the vanilla version, but that was about it. Coming back now and seeing all the updates like new and reworked items, enhanced music, much more interesting enemies and bosses, class progression, and more, it goes to show that a lot of care and effort has been put into the experience. I'm glad I decided to come back and play again! It's even better than before!

The game is constantly changing, I can't learn the game before more changes, I think it's great to update a game once in a while & no having ads is awesome, but it feels like I'm wasting time trying to learn & re-learn the game over again, cause it can't just settle in to itself. I use to beat the game, but lately it just is hard want to, because who knows what characters to use cause they are in flux constantly & I can't find any real strategy before more changes are made & it's gone.

This game is quite fun, but I don't know if I've seen almost everything the game has to offer after beating the first boss, or if there's a deeper pool of mechanics and character growth; however, the developer has decided to ask me at least twice for this review, and I'm caving and giving my opinion. It's free. Try it. The game controls well on mobile, and has enough replay value and intrigue to keep me playing past my first few frustrating runs. It's fun, if a little shallow.

This game is so fun! I can't stop playing it. The randomly generated levels give the dungeon such an amazing open world feel. Some elements you can expect, while others are hilariously surprising. As you unlock more characters you get to discover the strengths and weaknesses of each class. Truly a masterpiece of pixelated adventure!

Don't write many reviews but this is easily one of, if not the, most impressive mobile game I've played. It's exactly what it wants to be, extremely polished with no bugs (at least in my experience), and constant support; really great work.

After trying the original and some variants which were either impossible or just a boring grind...SHATTERED is definitely the most well developed and thought out. It's challenging to be sure, but never boring.

Fun classic roguelike dungeon crawler! The game has an old school feel but a perfect UI for mobile gaming. One handed friendly and doesn't patronize players. tough but doesn't feel 'rigged'. Not a money grab and no annoying ads. absolutely worth your play time and I'm super glad I found this! kudos to the devs!

It's not often I leave a review for a game, but this one is superb. The entire franchise has provided many hours of excellent (FREE) gameplay, with consistent updates and content additions. Add-free and fun as heck, I'm hoping to throw the developer some support some time. =)

Outstanding game. Extremely entertaining, fun, and difficult at the same time. The beautiful pixel drawing only adds to the experience. The only downside is that it's not calming. At all.
