The developers have packed a lot into this game. Campaign mode is engaging and challenging. Quick Play allows the user to have flexibility in setting up a game and will keep the game fresh. Ranked mode gives the player something to strive for by measuring one's best effort against that of others. Want to play an in-person game with a friend? Hotseat mode is there. It's a bargain at $4.99. Having purchased it for $0.99, it was an absolute steal. The small, indie developer nailed it.
Whoa!! Horrible Game!!... 👀 IT IS NOT!! This is a great game and lots of fun!! 😁 😊. It has a whole lot of levels and if sometime down the road, I finish this game, it's very replayable! I'm still figuring out a couple things, but the learning curve is not hard to master. Lots of help aids available to learn the game. If you like Chess ♟, Risk 🎲 or Capture the Flag 🚩, you'll love this game! 5⃣ 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 ⭐ 🌟!!
EDIT: They made some excellent updates, including campaign. 5 stars! Off to a good start, but needs a bit more. Feels a bit barebones. I would say it needs a couple more characters, each with a unique power (maybe 6 total "factions"). Also, having some kind of "global domination" mode would be nice (see Dawn of War Soulstorm for comparison). Props to the developer for not making this a F2P title with energy resources (incredibly annoying mechanic). I'm overall pleased with this purchase. 👍
Although I don't like the game (I don't much like Risk either), I rate this game 5 stars because it's pretty much Risk with a bit more depth. It doesn't have the card drawing mechanics (and if that was somehow incorporated, maybe as war weapons or something, strategems of some sort), but if you like Risk I'd definitely recommend it.
I like the game concept but it could use some tweaks. The tutorial is an unskippable tedious slog and I got so tired of it I almost uninstalled without completing it.I'm not really interested in campaign mode, I just want to pass and play - without having some ai in the mix. I couldn't get the hotseat to activate. GREAT theme though. I really like the concept.But I'd prefer a skippable tutorial and the ability to just pass and play with no ai and all pieces available. I'm a board game person.
Do you know these games with bases constantly spawning units and you can send them only directly to other bases? This is it, but turn based and with extra depth. With only few additions, they managed to create an unique, yet still similar game. Very interesting idea, proper execution, looks and plays fun. Can't find any fault yet.
Quickly becomes repetitive. Bought this on sale. Nice simple hex game. Difficult to see numbers on units when they're next to each other. Good fun for half an hour but then becomes the same with minimal differences between each game.
Shattered Plane is a solid tactical turn based game, with several Patrons to choose from with unique abilities. Visuals are great and pleasing, random generated maps always make each battle its own. Well worth it's value.
Amazing! The Campaign is so cool and fun. And though the last few times I played this, it's bad and hard. It's now fun and has an amazing story! I recommend you guys play the Campaign 'till the end, the story's epic.
Fun, classic gameplay with simple, well-thought-out mechanics. No annoying monetization. It even comes with hot-seat multiplayer and a battery saving mode. I love it.
Perfect! Quick play with enough strategic depth to keep it interesting. I haven't played too far, but I'm taking it on faith (from early games and other reviews) that it stays well balanced. For those giving it low ratings: don't rate it low because it's not your cup of tea, get a refund and move on. Nicely balanced, full licensed (no IAP) games are not easy to write, so if your only complaint is how it plays, keep it civil and don't rag the developer, or only major IAP games will be available!
Quite a fun game nice basic strategy, deep enough to be challenged simple enough not to have to micro and be exhausting. Weird last mission. 2nd to last mission is the real last battle in my opinion.
Liked so far. Would be 5 star if it would have in-app help menu where it is explained exactly how is morale created/lost and how does it affect battle. Also a list / summary of the various board elements (towers etc ...) effect summary would be nice to have.
Turn-based Galcon-like. Better than most but still repetitive. Graphics are low-def, yet it needs a big screen to be easily playable.
Maximum epic. Super simple system of fight, very addictive. Finished in 2 days. Please make more campaigns! I would buy them separately in-game for sure.

Very similar to Hex Empire, an excellent old Flash game. Feels like the mechanics were perhaps taken from that, then worked into a story and new skin - which isn't a bad thing.
Solid gameplay that could possibly use a little more explanations when new mechanics are added mid campaign. Otherwise very fun.
One of the best games I ever bought. This is a true gem! I just wish there was something of a help book to explain stuff like morale. Other than that, it's an amazing strategy game! Highly highly recommend it. Don't even think twice.
Very simple strategy: rush to conquer cities/bases. For 5$ I was expecting much more, at least online multiplayer.

Nightfall mission is broken. The Stone Circle triggers two boosts, but no map change.

I bought this on sale for $0.99 . I had fun, but found that most of the levels were not very engaging. The movement system was strategically interesting, but it was also very tedious. It was common for a "won" game to take several minutes to finish. The game sometimes introduced surprise enemies in such scenarios, but these surprises were usually pointless: The limited moves/turn design often meant I had a map full of random maxed out troops scattered about. If you want a semi-mindless tactical combat game, Shattered Plane delivers it. If you are want your strategy to have tactical depth and tough decisions, you'll find game to be pretty disappointing.
