This app definitely needs improvement. Lacking so many simple features. Why on earth are we not able to change watch settings from the app? For example, why can't we change the contact information so we don't have to use the buttons on the watch to try to type? Needs a UI overhaul as well. Bluetooth synchronization seems to be pretty solid though.

I have a Teric dive computer and I love it. small and stylish for everyday wear, yet has all the features of the bigger dive computers. I would rate the computer a 5 star, but this rating is for the app. The app lacks some features and is difficult to type in. I know Shearwater is Dive computer company and not a Phone App company but as great as their computers are I wish the app was allot better. Upgrades to the App would be much appreciated. Features such as a multi-select function for items seen during the dive (Turtles, Sharks, Sting Rays, Octopus, etc....). Another change would include autofill certain fields based on the previous dive. Many things don't (rarely) change between dives (weights, tank size, single tank, wetsuit, etc...). Autofill these fields but allow user to make changes when needed. Lastly, make the app more user friendly so its easier to type or make more dropdown selections. Thanks

I have the Peregrine computer which I love. I regularly use the android app to sync dives, add notes and review my dives. It works, but I have a few nits that keep this from being a 5 star experiences. If these items are fixed I would be overjoyed. * When typing notes the app does not automatically capitalize the first letter of a new sentence. This is such a common behavior on phones I would think Shearwater had to do something to make this not work. This is my number one nit. As a whole the entire way that text entry works across the app is just clunky. * Entering fields like air pressure you often cannot see what you are typing. * Some fields, like air pressure again, are pre-filled with "N/A", I need to manually delete this (without seeing it as it is covered by the keyboard) and then type in my values. * When touching on the graph it helpfully shows all the values at that point, but places it right under my finder so I cannot read it. A few wish list features * Let me enter multiple dive buddies not as a single string (potentially from a list of previous buddies). Right now it seems if I have buddies John and Joe, I can dive with "John", "Joe" or "John and Joe". It should be ["John", "Joe"]. If I dive into stats right now I have all sort of combinations of buddies. * Let me enter my tank volume and calculate my RMV and not just SAC. If the Shearwater app developers can add these to their sprints that would be awesome.

I truly love my Shearwater computer. I wish I could say the same for their mobile app... As just one example, it recently stopped displaying detailed information for dive profiles when sliding the vertical bar in landscape mode. I think this is a new problem, as it didn't do this before (maybe this resulted from a recent update?) I could detail some other issues, but looking at other reviewer's comments, these things have already been talked about. I hope the app gets improved at some point.

I use Linux on desktop so this android app is the only thing I can use to sync and update firmware. The app somewhat works. But the experience using it is really poor. I have Samsung galaxy s9+ and while app is running the phone heats up real bad. The animation in the UI of the app is very slow and feels like non-native one. Also when updating the firmware, at 100% download the app suddenly reports an error that the Bluetooth connectivity with Tetic is lost. Teric updates ok though.

I like being able to download my dives. That is great. I wish there was a way to filter out dives based on time and depth vs. De-selecting or selecting dives. Just remember what I downloaded last. The failure is I cannot get update for my Teric from my Note 10. Displays an error about 1/3 of the way through download.

I love my Perdix computer, but it's a shame that the app is a bit of a let down, there always seems to be some kind of glitch, maybe Shearwater should invest some money in a high end software company to build a good online software to match there computers, the computers are in my opinion the best on the market at the moment, and it's a shame the app's are dissapointing.

Shearwater please hire a professional app developer to fix this mess. Dive computer interface and configurability is awesome, this app is horrible. There is no way this app has been tested by real people on android. Clunky, just registering was PIA, Connects to phone then crashes when downloading dives. Really stinks this app is required to upgrade firmware, hope that will work when needed. Recommend using "Subsurface" it is quick, professional and bonus has Linux desktop version along with mobile versions.

Great features, but incredibly unpolished and buggy UX. Scrolling is artificially limited to an extremely slow speed. The keyboard covers up fields I'm trying to type into. Back button doesn't close the app. What kind of half-baked mobile framework are you clowns using? You need to fire your entire mobile team immediately, holy $#!t...

Use to be fast and fluid now its slow, freezing up and a unresponsive mess, shame as it was really good before

Perfect computer, lousy app. The app USED to work, now everytime I try to download dives or update firmware it's just not working. Connects to Bluetooth initially, but then disconnects with a Bluetooth error. Tried the legacy ui as recommended in help but no different. Update - tried on a different device, worked initially then crashed with a critical error, won't start and says email support. Please get some decent developers in to repair your reputation

Great idea but synchronisation is haphazard. Sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't. Especially across multiple devices. Too easy to lose your updates as you sync. more than one device.

Extremely disappointed. Shearwater does so many great things but clearly, mobile applications is not one of them. Tried updating my Perdix to V71 and all I get is a Bluetooth packet error. Also connects very unreliably via Bluetooth. Can't even transfer dives.

Disappointing this app won't update my perdix firmware. Downloads the dives just fine, but then the perdix sits there waiting for something afterward. The windoze apps don't install on windoze 10 pro, nor does investigate version conflicts resolve the executable not instigating. Sent an email from digitalsol, please seek it out I included hardware specs on android.

The hardware is great, but the app is slow, clunky, Bluetooth connectivity is flakey at best, you can't paste or use password managers to logon to the app. I'd seriously consider another dive computer based on the quality of this app

There is good dive information for each dive, however you cannot filter by most of that information, ie deco rquiremenr or not, He in the mix or not. How about auto remember dives. New update kept crashing when trying to open. Had to uninstall and reinstall.

Good app from Shearwater, not using the PC anymore to upload dives or to update firmware. I wish that will include a planner so we can stop using other apps to do that. Also it could be a good idea if you can configure the computer from the app.

Phenomenal computer - absolute garbage app. Sort order changes randomly. Some dives disappear after backing out only to return after a restart. I don't know how this has been broken for so long. Unacceptable.

The computer is awesome but the app is way behind. I've got a cheap mares puck pro and the software for it works better. hopefully they will update the app sometime soon. it doesnt connect half the time and takes forever to download the dives.

The app is a little difficult to use, it does work, but better zoom would be nice. Also, I wish it would sync your profile from your device and give NDL planning based on your last synced conservative algorithm.

At one point it worked fine. Now it tells me I have to log in by hitting the profile button, but it doesn't respond 95% of the time. Very disappointing as I was hoping to log in dives as they are done rather than waiting till I can get home to use my laptop.

This app is abysmal, it crashes 90% of the time and is excruciating slow the rest. Usability and design is also amateur and clunky. This app takes away the brilliance and value proposition of owning a Shearwater and puts the overall experience as mediocre at best. I wish I knew how bad this app was before purchasing such an expensive dive computer - my friend's Sunnto Eon Core software is so much better.

ugh. Spent hours testing and reporting bugs, functional gaps in the moble app since late 2017 and they STILL havent delivered on even 1/10th of the reports. Its astonishing that the best dive computer in the world can have such an anemic, fragile and barely usable app. How many times do issues need to be reported and ignored before someone acts? A competent but small engineering team could have delivered a completely rebuilt app in the 1.5 yrs its taken shearwater to fix next to no issues.

Pretty basic, but has all of the basics down pretty well.

Doesnt work with Predator upload Log functionality.

This allows viewing dives logged in Shearwater Perdix or Perdix AI. With AI option you can get extra information reflecting pressure variations during your dive. Great app. Many thanks to the Shearwater team. Olivier

Computer is great. Recent app update fixed Bluetooth packet error, but still doesn't update firmware (support suggested using windows desktop to update firmware, as workaround).
