Shell Commander

Very nice app, the macro support can change some tasks from being unpractical to being quite easy. I use it to start/stop an ipv6 tunnel. I got it for the macros, but the interactive mode is great, possibly the best android terminal. Well, not really a "terminal", but you don't always need that.

saves me from having to type frequently used command lines. works flawlessly. ui looks slick! plz add widgets and start selected saved commands on boot so i can get rid of clumsy tasker. thanks in advance! EDIT: display not optimized for tablets. plz give the option to use all real estate in bigger screens. thanks in advance!

Running this on a Tablet (Asus transformer line) and having the terminal sideways may create a pain in my neck. an HD version of this could make this the perfect terminal app on Android?

Tried with Android 3.2. The setting start as root does not work.

Hard to use on an ebook reader (unable to change font color so you cannot see the text)

I needed a simple app that could execute shell commands right on my phone. This app does it and does it well. Better still is the fact that I am able to scroll one line at a time through my commands and their output, and a command can be copied back to the command line with just a tap. This is truly an awesome geek app!

Lacks some features and settings but so far it's really good.

Works, but I don't see the file explorer, and I can't figure how to run a macro. That's what I wanted it for!
