Sherlock Holmes Complete
First appearing in print in 1887 (in A Study in Scarlet), the character's popularity became widespread with the first series of short stories in The Strand Magazine, beginning with "A Scandal in Bohemia" in 1891; additional tales appeared from then to 1927, eventually totalling four novels and 56 short stories. All but one are set in the Victorian or Edwardian eras, taking place between about 1880 to 1914. Most are narrated by the character of Holmes's friend and biographer Dr. Watson, who usually accompanies Holmes during his investigations and often shares quarters with him at the address of 221B Baker Street, London, where many of the stories begin.
Though not the first fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes is arguably the most well-known, with Guinness World Records listing him as the "most portrayed movie character" in history. Holmes's popularity and fame are such that many have believed him to be not a fictional character but a real individual; numerous literary and fan societies have been founded that pretend to operate on this principle. Widely considered a British cultural icon, the character and stories have had a profound and lasting effect on mystery writing and popular culture as a whole, with both the original tales as well as thousands written by authors other than Conan Doyle being adapted into stage and radio plays, television, films, video games, and other media for over one hundred years.

There is no bookmark.....if someone wants to go back to their reading pages after using any background apps , you will be sent to starting page. This happens every single time. Until you don't give any update for this problem I don't think that there is any chance of putting 4 or 5 starts.
The app is really good !! Contains all the stories in fine form and order!! But there are some spelling mistakes which can be considered negligible compared to the overall performance... !! Great app !! Must be downloaded..❤️
love the app. but it could definitely use a bi of tweaking in terms of customization of fonts amd background. also the app is in desperate need of bookmark so i can pick up where i left off. and i absolutely love the fact that i can read all of Sherlock Holmes cases in one app. thanks!!! 😄😄
the app is great, just you have left out a major feature. as it has many stories and novels,you must add a feature to continue reading a story from where you left it. please try adding that feature
Would benefit from bookmarks so you can pick up where you left. You can ignore ads by turning on mobile data/WiFi to download the story you're reading(just a min max) then turning it off after
Yeah, a great app and comfortable for reading classic like Sherlock Holmes, it just needs a bookmark so we don't have to search the part where we left from the beginning of the story.
This app is very great indeed. But I had a question that whether there are images in the app and I'm not able to see it or there aren't any images. I'm confused because no one is talking about it in the reviews.
Very annoying trying to read with ads flashing and blinking in peripheral vision. So now I'm looking for an app that does not have that type of advertisements, by the way, I will NEVER use pandora! Even if paid to.
It was a good app but can't add bookmark and every time you have to find every now and then from where you have left and can't not increase the font size either.
so far so good, as an ancient Sherlockian I fully embrace any new Holmes formats. the interface is easy to use. canon faithfully reproduced. once more "the games afoot".
There is no better read that to read the adventure of Sherlock Holmes. People now a days only sees the movie adaptation of the books. I begun re reading this book in the hope of getting people in the trend of reading classic novelas that will cautivate and enrich your mind. Kudos to this effort!!!
I absolutely love this app! I was an avid reader as a kid but some how never read any Sherlock Holmes mysteries. Too have all of these stories in such a convenient app is really cool. Highly recommend!
You know how the engineers feel when they work all day and night to maximise the screen to body ratio, to get rid of intrusive notches, punch hole displays and then come along the devs with their poorly designed apps. Look at the giant forehead on this app. Why not make it go away as the user scrolls down. All the screen area should be filled with text, not with a giant green forehead which presents no new information.
I am very thankful to the person who made this app. It is a very good app in which all the stories are compiled in simplest way possible.I always wanted to read all of Sherlock Holmes stories and it was made possible by this app. Thank you so much
This app is nice it has the stories what they showed in the movies. But in middle of every story a little bit story was missing, apart from this everything is okay.
From the childhood i was wanting to read the complete story of Sherlock Holmes. Today my wish is going to be true. This is a very usefull and releable app to be used. And as well as i wanted to say that the story of Sherlock Holmes is JUST WONDRFUL!
Love the app, especially the story of the day feature. The tint of the screen is also good because it's not too bright and harsh on the eyes.

The App. is good making it easy and lighter to read the novel with ambient colors for paperlike reading, like in a bounded storybook.

This app is awesome......it has all the stories of sherlock holmes......it is having ads but still a great app.....it also shows how much progress you made....and the bookmarks helps a lot

Any time you can share the unique friendship and adventures in front of the fire at Baker Street. The app works perfect and is very stable.
It is a very nice book it contains all the 56 stories of sherlock Holmes full of adventures and surprises So I strongly recommend readers to install this app as u can also watch these stories offline and also can mark where u stopped
I love it. one or two changes in terms of font style would be most appealing for personalisation sake.

Just downloaded the app. I have a different one on my old phone. I noticed that The Case-book of Sherlock Holmes is not here. Will it be added? Otherwise, it's incomplete.
It's got all the sherlock holmes short stories and novels. It does have some annoying ads, but other than that it's a fantastic app. I've always wanted to read these stories but could just never pick up a book. Thanks to this app though I've already read through close to half of the stories.
