Being detective is great like Sherlock Holmes
The game was great. Completed the first case and was halfway through the second case before the last update. Now every time I try to start a scene it takes my energy and says can't connect need to refresh and won't let me do a single thing in the game anymore. I have tried contacting someone no one bothers to answer. Don't waste your time you'll never get to see the end of the story.
I did love this game, but since the recent update, it won't let me play any scenes to get stars to progress. It starts to load a HO scene, then right as it loads it says it lost the connection and must reload. Every time. The game was working, until the most recent version yesterday. When they fix the problem, I will give them the other 3 stars. Until then, they are lucky I gave them 2...
I really like this game, the story, graphics and gameplay is entertaining. It's a shame that it needs wifi/data and that every other time I open it, the game doesn't work and has server issues so I have to force close it. There is a fair amount of energy before it runs out and it probably needs less hints but still enjoyable and recommended. Great job and I hope you make more of these types of games. Thanks. I still don't know what the coins are used for. It's a pity you can't buy energy with them
The look is great and story pretty interesting but they point out a Lot to you, instead of letting you figure it out. The puzzles are pretty fun when they don't but cost energy that takes a long while to load back up and there wasn't much in completion, get all stars, now get all rankings, just feels repetitive for completionists. This Is a good game but loses the detective feel by not letting you detect and using energy to play with little reward. They give an easy pay option but not worth it to me.
1. if only it posts the names of friends who play it separately, to send them gifts and energies, and those who don't play it to put them next with the option to invite.. your way is really annoying. 2. if there's a help box, or hints to perform better, until now i don't know what is the use of golden coins you earn, everything you want to buy is for diamonds. 3. the hint that you get as a gift is always offered for diamonds, i don't understand why you call it a gift. 4. I'm not done, but no more space
I played the game for over a week, I really enjoyed it and made it half way through episode 1. However at the Merry go round level it takes my energy and when it goes to load the level it gives me a connection error. When I go back to retry my energy is gone, and it gives me the same error on every level now and it takes my energy. Tried 4g connection and different WiFi networks no changes. Please fix
Doesn't even work, just says that I have lost connection to the server and to refresh the game. Once I reload it I've lost 15 energy, do this a few times and all my energys gone. Sad because I play this on the computer and it's great on there. Just gotta sort the crappy app out.
I really loved playing this game but I can't play it anymore because it keeps saying refresh and it says that it can't connect to the server. I keep trying to refresh it but it keeps saying the same thing and I'm losing energy each time I refresh it. Please stop being lazy and fix this game now. When you fix this game and it starts working again then I will give 5 stars. I really want to play this game again so please fix it right away.
I'm on case 4... and game keeps saying the server crashed or something. I love this app... I could be made into an actual game for PC with voice for the characters. But until the crashes cease to happen, I won't be playing this app
It's a really good game however every time I try to progress it loses connection to server. That's fine if it does but you lose energy spent on a case and it does that till you have no energy left. Please fix this game
Been enjoying it for several weeks am now at the second episode almost finished and it keeps telling me oops lost server connection. Please refresh. It doesn't refresh. Would rate 5 starts for a great game but unable to finish the game. Please get it fixed and I will rate 5 stars.
There is bugs mentioned by others, besides, the energy was deducted but with suddenly say connection problem and that record was gone. Completed the first case, the end was with contradictions to the storyplot, I am not sure if such will be resolved/ explained in the case 2. But for case 2 needs 5 stars to start, it is really a push factor for me to leave this game alone. After that five stars starting for case 2, Addicted to the story, the 2nd case with connection and with some explanation to the case 1.
It was very enjoyable but had some very annoying bugs. For instance sometimes when you have finished a task and exit the game and then come back it says you have not finished the task but if it required a star and you did a scene it will say you did the scene but you don't have the star, and there are many more.
The game story line and effect are great I can tell that you have put so much effort on it. However, the game crashes a lot when it's lunching and it stopped connecting to server so I can't do anything in the game any. Fix it and you'll have yourself 5 stars.
Really liked this game but just recently it quit letting me play. If I have to start over it will be very frustrating.
Unfortunately, I was unable to play 'Sherlock Holmes Lost Detective' past the first (very) simple puzzle, due to multiple "lost connection with the server" errors. After a dozen or so attempts to get the game working, I finally gave up when this error held my LG V10 hostage, forcing me to remove the battery. So, I've had enough. Having to remove my battery is enough for me to justify a 1-star rating and uninstallation. However, for those who might disagree or are looking for additional warnings, I would have also subtracted stars for the following: ~ WiFi Required, ~ Large (125MB) file size, which ~ CAN'T be moved to the SD card, ~ Excessive RAM usage. So, even if the game worked for me, the end result would likely be the same. Uninstalling!
For some reason the past 3 days I haven't been able to get on. Just comes up with oops sorry can't connect to the server. And the whole energy thing is no were near enough. I can only play at least 5 mins at a time before I have to wait hours to get my energy back up. It would be so much more enjoyable if it cost like 5 energy each time because it already takes so long to get stars. Good graphics and good game just shame about these few things.
its a good game since I'm such a fan of sherlock holmes and finally there is a game for it.. but then it stops on episode 3 (the police station scene) and shows "refresh the game". whenever I refresh it .. they deduct 20 energy ! Hope this will be fixed.
Been playing for a while, even though it's real slow. Been have problems, haven't been able to play for a few days. Go to Facebook to see if they have a page I can look at,it said this game isn't compatible with my phone, a Galaxy 5. Waist of my time!
Game keeps losing connection with the server. Items have wrong words attached to them, says you will get energy if you click this, or send this, but you never do, not enough energy to play, cost of each lever is enormous, and the amount of bug fixes that are necessary is indescribable
It's awesome the most important thing the chapters I've read . The gameplay is gd but,the controls should be like that we can walk or do anything that we want. But this is a very good game. I JUST LOVE SHERLOCK HOLMES
I actually really like this game, but it keeps saying that I need to refresh it bcoz of bad Internet connection, even if it's good... I'd like to continue , but cannot coz everytime when it comes to finding an objects I lose the energy then it says : Oops! Bad Internet connection. Refresh! I've tried to it over and over again, but it's useless... seems like they just need to collect those energy thunders!!! It pissed me off! I've read the comments bellow , seems like everybody has the same issue! Good luc
I liked this game in the starting but at the second case which was SAY MY NAME, I just got stuck in middle at that point where we have to solve the boiler's puzzle.... and thn I had to remove that game frm my device It's a humble request to plzzz fix it nd thn I'll install it THNX😇
Love the story, but there's one part at the end of the first mystery I can't get past. When you exchange the star to figure out what the locket means, the game never loads and if you exit the app, you lose your star and have to earn another one to continue the story. This has happened to me 3 times today.
