Shift Calendar (since 2013)
The major feature of this App is 'Easy to Use'. When editing your shifts, you can select a range of days (rather than one day) to set. Thus, you can set your schedule (roster, planner) in few seconds. Then, you can transmit your schedule to friends (via SMS, WhatsApp, and so on) by clicking one button. In addition, the 'Cloud Shift' function allows you to exchange calendars with your friends.

Permission Description: (1) Storage (Modify or delete the contents of your SD card): This permission is used for the Backup/Recover function. You can backup your shift data on the SD card. (2) Run at startup (execute programs after boot completed): The alarm clock will be restarted automatically after rebooting. This permission is required to achieve this goal. (3) Full network access: This permission is required to support Cloud Shift function. (4) Find accounts on the device: This permission is required to support Cloud Shift function. Shift Calendar will use email addresses (Gmail) to identify users. Shift Calendar will NOT know your password. Shift Calendar will NOT distribute your email address to any third-party (include your friends). (5) Read Calendar: The events from Google Calendar will be shown in the Note page.(6) Control Vibration: This is used for the alarm clock function.
Tips: (1) If you don't have Menu button on you device, you can open Menu by clicking the right-top menu. (2) While editing, you can select a range (rather than one day) of days to set simultaneously.
This app is the first app that adopt the design of 'selecting a range of days'. (Since May 15, 2013)

Brilliant app. Shifts are clear, very easy to use and edit. I'm on a 10 week rotating pattern so being able to just copy the 10 week shift pattern was a god send as oppose to writing it on a calendar!!
This app is great for a rotating work schedule! Easy to input schedule and really easy to copy it into the future.

Great for shift work! Can customize calendar just your personal schedule. Wish you could add another person to view the calendar in the app instead of a picture or screen shot.
Very good app. for myself. I work a 28-day rotating schedule. Just select each day of your schedule and mark as either day, night, or late shift. Then, go to Menu and select Shift Pattern and enter the date range. Auto repeat will fill in future shifts. Mark pay days if you like.
Good simple app thats easy to use. Would like to be able to put comments on friends calander too. That would benefit shift workers
I'd like an option to add different colors for different things. Maybe like adding doctors appointments and such.
Easily one of my top 10 apps. I use it every day. I know city works crews where everyone uses this app. The best for working with irregular or complicated shift schedules. It probably has more flexibility & options than you'll need. The only downside is a flimsy online help manual. The app demands a lot of trial and error effort to create the calendar display you like. It is definitely not self intuitive.
Yep, it's almost perfect app for personal scheduling, but there's always "but" - when I touch a day, I'd prefer to see any events (or just notes) instead of "payday" page. Thus, it's better to mark that day with a different symbol in edit mode to look it up in a calendar or note's app. OK, maybe someone needs it - then I'd like to have an option to chose it's function. And 1 small remark - circle around current date is out of proper resolution for bigger screens.
App is super easy and works great. It does exactly what I need it to do! My only complaint would be when sharing the calendar using a picture, I wish you could select more than just one month to send instead of doing each month individually. That's purely for my own convenience and doesn't take away from this app being the best shift calendar out there.
I've been using this calendar for years, after trying several others too. This one's the only one that stuck. It works well and reliably.

Have used this app for many years, works great, many great features, well thought out, & very user friendly. Pretty much everything is custamizable, colours, calendar settings, can set up all your own shifts, repeat rotation available, plenty of options, add as much or as little detail as you need (ie even shift start/end times to figure out pay). Just got a new phone & downloaded again, all new updates a great! (New holiday icon is my fav😉) Keep up the great work!!

Checked out most shift calendar apps and stuck with this app. It has the right balance of simplicity and flexibility. Given a busy schedule, there is no time to learn how to use a complex app. Shift Calendar hits the sweet spot and meets my needs.
This app was brilliant, I could up load my roster and share it directly with my hubby. I still use it all the time and just screen shot it to share it now, but I end up with loads of screen shots cos my roster changes all the time. Need to be able to directly share again with specific people that I can allow maybe if there was a pass code we could give to allow access
Always used an app called Shiftworker but is only available for iOS. Since moving to android was looking for a good replacement, this totally fits the bill and is reasonably straightforward.
