Shift Card

Not dependable enough for normal use. Many merchants and/or payment processors decline the card automatically. It's too hit or miss on where you can actually use it. Seems to be a trend for crypto-backed or crypto-funded debit cards.

Horrible company and support. Sent me an email that they shut down my card due to not being used enough! I have been trying to accumulate more BTC and grow my portfolio but Shift doesn't seem to care. They reopened the card when I complained but still shut it down again onr month later. I shredded it after that.

Awesome.. thank you shift for your card and app! Excellent customer service, easy setup, card was here in 5 days and it worked as advertised... Instant with notification! Good job !!!

come on guys. ( Coinbase and Shift) great idea. but you know what would be better? " if it actually worked.!"

This App Really Rocks

I can't even log in to the app but it has synced with my Coinbase. I'm not impressed but really as far as I can tell no other app is trying to do what they are doing and letting you use your Crypto to actually buy things. Hopefully they work out the bugs and it eventually works but until then don't even waste your time downloading.

It would be 5 Stars if I could just easily switch between the four different cryptocurrencies in my Coinbase account but for me to switch I have to login to the coinbase website, remove the shift apps access to my account, then clear the data and cache of the shift app, then reconnect it to my coinbase account which will allow me to pick one of four cryptocurrencies. I wish there was just a list of the available crypto and I could select one and it would keep debiting from that Coinbase crypto wallet until I would select a different one without having to do all the steps I laid out above.

I'm sure the Shift card works great. I can't wait to start using it. But I can't use this app. Right away I get 'We hit a technical error. We are working to resolve the issue.' Tried deleted cache, data, rebooting phone, even uninstalling and reinstalling. Can't use it. Until it works for me, I give it 1 star bc I can't give it 0. UPDATE: I absolutely love this! I use my crypto to pay for everything for the month. And when Litecoin goes up, that's just more I have at the end of the month.

The app and card work sometimes but not always. When it doesn't work there is not support you can contact directly. You have to email them an wait for back and forth replies to fix an issue.

Hits technical error just trying to sign in to coin base. It appears this issue has been reported in other reviews for over a year. Useless

I checked it out but Mehr. It needs to have an option to sign into paypal as well. I'll come back after that happens

I've been waiting over 2 weeks for my card and there is absolutely no customer service at all. Wish there was a way to get refunded for buying a card that has never came.

I don't know what half these people are negativity talking about other than then the topic of people not having common debit/credit card sense to "active it" first before use. Because there is no reminder sticker. The card is Great!!!! Works without a flaw! Credit and Debit card transactions to ATM and internet transactions. Only con is it's a lot of work to log into app and check your receipts. "First world problems" recommend this card for sure.

My buddy talks very highly of this app. But it wont connect with coinbase. Keeps saying technical error. I want to use it but it seems hell bent on keeping me out

This app so far has been simple to manage, I connected to coinbase and activated my card with ease and looking forward to test it out

I have trouble changing the wallet I want to debit from. The customer support for this company is zero to none. I get erroneous charges on my account which haven't been addressed. I'm really unhappy with this company.

Just received my SHIFT card. I was able to login to my Coinbase account and link it to SHIFT. Will test out a few transactions soon but looks like it is working.

Works as expected. However, when Coinbase is under heavy load times when BTC price is driving high volumes of sales or buys. Occasionally my purchase is declined but this has always resolved by waiting a hour or few until Coinbase server has cooled down.

Never asked Ashad to close my card and he did anyways. Horrible customer service, card is useless like staff.

Can't log in. Seems like a great app but doesn't work, so I say it's a worthless app. I'm more so worried about the permissions I just have to my Coinbase account.

shift payments was wonderful! I hope you guys drop those AptoPay cards pronto! being able to switch which coin i pay with on the fly in the app would be the bees knees. please don't make me wait too long to spend these gainz! much love

The shift card app is not connecting. "Error connecting to the network" is all I get when I try to open the app. Android user. It seems customer service is not responding to anything here either. DO NOT get this card!

Received the card in about a week after ordering from the website, activated it by phone, used it a few hour later. Worked good for me.
