With a few simple steps, you can choose your car, pay your bill and pick up your vehicle. The app opens the door, gives you the keys, lets you assess the vehicle for damage and sends you on your way.

Key Features:
1. Choose between Classical or Automated booking. Choose the pick-up and drop-off locations from the search box, and make sure you enter the pick-up and drop-off dates and times.
a. The Classical booking gives you the regular car rental experience; you pick-up your car and return it through our rental agents at any Shift inc. outlet
b. The Automated booking allows you to pick-up your car and return it without having to interact with an agent. You’ll be using the app on your phone to activate your booking, locate your car, unlock it, and start the rental contract. You’ll also return it to one of the allocated locations and close your contract. All through our handy app. A list of available cars will show on your screen based on your search criteria. You can now choose the car suitable for you and your needs. Click on “Book Now”
2. Next, you need to login to your account. If you don’t have an account, you can quickly create one by clicking on “Register”
3. Fill in the form to create your account, and don’t forget to verify it by entering the code you receive by SMS
4. You can then go ahead with the booking and choose any add-ons
5. Review the payment details and submit the payment, using your credit card information
6. After payment, you’ll view a summary of your booking and confirmation reference. You’ll also receive a confirmation to your email address, as well as an SMS to your mobile number

Car Pick-Up:
1. You will need to confirm your identity before your pick-up time, you’ll receive a notification asking for a selfie. You can go to the “My Bookings” tab and click on “Verify Photo” to start the pick-up process. You’ll then have to take a selfie to verify your identity through the app
2. After verification, click on ‘Pick-Up Car” the app will guide you through a map
3. Once you’ve found your ride, you’ll need to scan the QR Code located on your vehicle’s windshield
4. The app will then ask you to take photos of each of the 6 car sections
5. Agree to the terms and conditions by checking the box and clicking on “Confirm” button
6. Enter the verification code received to unlock your car
7. And that’s it, your car will unlock, your rental agreement will be activated, and you are good to go

Car Drop-Off
1. When it’s time to drop-off your car, open “My Bookings” tab and click on “Drop-Off Car”
2. Select the drop-off location from the list and click on “Get Directions”
3. Once you reach the drop off zone, go to the “My Bookings” tab on your app and click on “Drop-Off Car”
4. The app will verify you are in the right drop-off zone
5. Take the 6 car section photos
6. Leave the key inside the glove compartment, close all doors and press “Next”
7. Please confirm that you have picked up all your personal belongings, once you tap the “Continue” button your car will lock automatically
8. You can now rate your experience and offer any feedback
