Shiftgig

I see I'm having the same issues as others with this app. One of them being able to finish applying. When I got to the audio section it wouldn't let me proceed all permissions were on, seems as if the app froze. I updated the app and it only allows you to login & not create an account or complete an application. This needs to be fixed.

I'm trying to use the app and the app won't let me finish setting up my profile. Everything works fine until I get to the record audio for your interview screen. I'm running Android version 8.1.0 and my permissions for the app are on. I wish there was an option to sign in and finish setup on the website or that the app worked as intended.

Cannot sign up through the app. I searched on Google to create an account with them. Typed in my email & created a password. went back into the app, and the information was not recognized. They don't have it linked. I can't even use the app since I can't sign up. Sounds great & would love to be apart of it but I literally can't. Please fix this.

I have a new LG 4 Tribute phone. Took too long for the app to download. Provided email and password to later get kicked out and my email and password to not be accepted. Went through the entire prompt, audio inteview, got to the final step of uploading photo. Did not accept any photo to download after numerous tries. Unable to proceed to next phase. Photo should be optional. This app should fix glitches so that it works correctly. Uninstalled. Unable to comfirm if there is gig within my zip code.

I have absolutely ZERO shifts showing on my calendar. I'm not new. I have worked 59 shifts. Now there is nothing. Not even picked shifts or waitlist shifts. Just nothing. Edit: I'm not sure how much more specific i can be. There are no shifts showing to choose from. There are no shifts showing period. The calendar is completely blank

The temp agency that I work for uses this app and it makes it so much easier, I think, for me as a worker to have right in front of me a calendar populated with all available jobs when scheduling for the week. It enables you to set up the schedule that best fits your availability and at the place of your choice if there is more than one option. I also love that the app allows feedback between employee and employer after submitting your hours worked that day.

Very poorly designed app. When I started the app it asked for my zip code. After entering my zip in Seattle Washington a major US city and one job comes up. Then it would not even let me register with shiftgig unless I wanted to apply for this one job. So I went on to register and it asks me to tell it what metropolitan city I was closest to with a list of major cities throughout the USA. I live in Seattle Washington a well known highly populated city with a booming economy and Seattle was nowhere on this list. I notice Boston was on this list and Boston has a population that is slightly less than Seattle's. Are you kidding me shiftgig ?

I no longer temp for Shiftgig Atlanta; however, when I did, this application was employees' only contact for our jobs. The app functioned smoothly for me on multiple device (NOT simultaneously) and was reliable as communication between me, the user, management, and 3rd-party shift operators.

It's a great app in showing jobs availability instead of calling in to see if there is jobs available. It also shows maps which is great. It's very convenient everything is at your fingertips.

After I just did the onboarding and was activated in the app, it went on to say that my account was deactivated. There is no was to reach support. Wish places went the old school rpute with traditional applications! A complete let down and waste of time!!

Very informative! With our company it allows you to check a description of the job. Then if, you are willing to and want to be reminded, we receive notifications.Then, we are consistently informed about new jobs every time they are posted as it appears in a notification. I find it very helpful and very easy to use.

Constentaly on this app looking for shifts. In the two years that i signed up for shiftgig i have not found one shift that is even close to being near me. Most shifts are 18 plus miles away from me, and are only available for the waitlist. There are never any shifts available in my area. I cant drive 20 miles away for a $10 p/hr job.

I waited about 3 or 4 weeks for a background check to clear before i could log into the apps. Now i can log in or create an account. Its keeps saying its having errors loadin opportunities. Please fix this. Very disappointing........... 11/14/2018 10 days later and the app seems to only have restarted my application process. ............Great job dev team.

Literally the most pointless app ever. As a lot of others have said, you can't log in without an account, and there is no option to sign up and make one. Just a little quare to take up space on your device.

Now that a new update has been made, I'm receiving false notifications again. Notifications for the jobs that have already been filled. This app stopped working correctly for me over 6 months ago and no one from their company can fix it.

So far, i am not having any success. I searched for an agency in my area to no avail. I expanded the search radius only to find an agency that stated they were in my ares but had no jobs available in the whole state of Florida. I will probably delete soon as the purpose is to generate extra income.

This is my first review I've ever posted, and am doing so bc I'm really irritated with this app. I never even got to see what it was like or use any features. Every time I tried to join it would just spit me back out after entering my email address and tell me to join again. I never got passed the joining phase. Oh, and there's no way to find help with it either. Googling it wasn't helpful at all. So, not only could I not use the app at all bc I was having problems, but also there was ABSOLUTELY no way for me to get help trouble shooting.

I downloaded this app about a week ago and I have NOT worked any jobs yet. When I first signed up I had one skill put on my profile which was general. Now all of a sudden I log in this morning and have 0 skills on my profile along with absolutely zero jobs available for at least the next 2 months. the concept of this app makes it seem that it would be a good idea to join but in reality it's a waste of time.

Signed up years ago, did orientation about 35 miles away. They "lost" all of my info making it seem like I didn't complete orientation and other paper work. I can log in to the app, but you all changed my phone and address, I can't see jobs, nor can I log in to ask for help, because the help site literally won't let me. I've emailed HR, and I've emailed the contact on this playstore page. Nothing. How do I opt out of all services, since you all are holding my information hostage?

Hated it and i didn't even start working. Met up with a girl named Natalie at a Starbucks, very unprofessional, very inattentive, and very rude. I told her how I've had difficulty reaching out to Shiftgig for various problems including her, and she says she turns off her phone. That's not my problem. Apparently she and they are not serious about what they do, especially since she couldn't properly greet me, nor take her face out to the phone. I guess this is what happens when you take young people and hire them because there was no professionalism about her at all. She acted as if i interrupted her sitting there and was waiting to leave. I had one less ID than I should've, and suggested I come back instead of sending it over the phone. I live more than an hour away from the Starbucks which seems out of the way. I came in happy for a job opportunity and was met with an unprofessional, rude kid. I rejected the offer because of the inconvenience, and the terrible first impression. Send less ruder people.

This app is fantastic. I am horrible at interviews to put a really hard worker and I've been looking for work 4 a month. 15 days after installing this app I have worked 3/8 hour shifts at $14 an hour. I couldn't be happier with it. It did take around 10 days to get all my information and to be able to start taking shifts

I'm trying to sign up and it won't let me record my interview question. Every time i press the record button it goes to a blank white page and that's it, stuck. Nothing. Cannot continue. Needs fixing!

I think it's a scam to get in your phone data and all your information because as soon as you download it they show you the steps how to do it and then it just gives you the option just to login doesn't give you the option of create an account or nothing then when you try it doesn't even let you submit the forgot password just keep you stuck right there to the lonely it did the more they get your data

Seriously dissatisfied. 1. They don't pay on time as they claim. 2. No direct line to anything close to a HR or direct office or person. 3.you have to use other groups and social media to find gigs consistently 4. They are terrible at follow up with your concerns. 5. If you sign you up for a gig last minute your more likely to be paid more than someone who signed up when the gig first dropped. Especially when they need people. Instead of offering the same rate to everyone. If you're considering using this app please think twice! Once I receive my pay which is late I'm definitely deleting my account and this app.

This app is horrible and a waste of time.. every shift that I claim gets canceled.. all of the good jobs are always unavailable which is unfair because everybody should have the right to at least work one good shift.. everytime I call LGC hospitality they never answer the phone they never returned my phone calls... I think they got they picks and chooses who they want to work.. I have had this app for almost six months and have not worked one shift... Please don't waste your time? I

Well I tried to use the app but it didn't let me even begin to set up a login because it asked for a zip code to check my area for jobs and said mine had none, so I proceeded to put in 10 different zip codes for towns in South Jersey within 25 miles of me and not one had jobs available so it just asked for my email to alert me when jobs are available. I wasn't given the chance to set up a profile whatsoever or even see what the app looks like so I just uninstalled it immediately since the only thing i can do is wait for an email. TO DEVELOPERS: why not allow people to join, create a profile at least, set their job types, settings, and set a RADIUS for an area they're willing to travel for jobs, rather than simply limiting someone to their zip code from the very beginning and not letting them get any further. I'm only going to get an email for jobs available in my zip code even though I'm willing to travel 25 miles. Every job i've had is 45 minutes away BECAUSE there's not much in my area, which is why I wanted to try this app to begin with however I won't be able to get any notifications for jobs outside my area. **UPDATE: I tried using Philadelphia zip code, and no jobs there even! If there's no jobs in a major metropolitan city, there will never be any in my area. This app is a waste, which is a shame as its extremely hard to find work in hospitality industry and I was excited this might work.

This app allows you to claim a Shift around your time schedule. Its not like the old fashioned days where you work at a fast food restaurant & you look on the clip board to see what day & time the manager or supervisor has created for you. For instance it may say Monday- Friday you work 8am to 5pm & off on the weekends. As to where the Shift gigg app allows you to set your own work schedule so there will be "No" excuses as to why you don't show up. This new technology has come a long way!!!
