The app is not very intuitive. I picked one job role that showed lots of openings and now I get notifications constantly, but I can't find any way to opt out of that job role now, and it overwhelms the whole system. It's really difficult to navigate within the app to find what you are looking for.

This app is absolutely dreadful, unless you have great great Wi-Fi and data the app does not work it has tons of bugs. I wasn't able to clock in or clock out from a shift. And when I tried to reach out the call center no one answered. There only open 10 of 6:00!it' a waste of time! So I pretty much I worked for free today! Terrible experience w this APP!

I've missed out on opportunities because this app NEVER works right. Now, Ive only had to message a manager once - they were quick to respond. Other than that, I just keep getting stuck on the training portion. Or the non existant one. Update - okay I've cashed out twice, and I am scheduled for a full week of shifts. My only issue is the Android version of the app has problems, I've had to download an android emulator on my laptop in order to use the app successfully.

Everyday, whenever I use it, this app... constantly crashes. I am looking forward to it being bug free, if that makes sense. My patience has improved as a result, otherwise the support that I received when I had questions or concerns has been great! The Circle K support team is the best and they deserve all the stars in the universe! I would give them 5+ stars if I could!

It glitched a bit when I was signing up, so I had to refresh a few times. I completed the tutorial, but there aren't any places of work in my region. It seems like a really American centered app, eventhough there are others countries listed. Maybe if you're in the US you'll get more luck. It would help to say that, so as not to waste our time.

Was looking to make some easy side money but signing up seems to be the most difficult aspect of this. I completed training twice, I completed the training quiz and passed twice. I'm supposed to complete 4 hours of calls to move forward but the app still shows I need to take the quiz. I have been sending messages for almost a week and the responses are clearly copy/paste or a robot. It seems like an easy job but can't get help when needed.

No Actual Shifts! Although they're happy to absolutely spam my inbox and notifications, requiring me to outright block communication from Shiftsmart, the app remains a ghost town here in NYC - only one of the biggest cities in the world 😒. Don't download it unless you've got time on your hands to deal with this obnoxious behavior. I did one shift when I signed up and... Nothing new but plenty of messages about things in other states. This isn't income. It's not even a side hustle.

I have had technical issues with the app since putting in the application. From freezing, to crashing, to submitting things and they never register. Ex: I have just been on the 2nd job and it's still not showing an active updated background check. The first job I went on was great other than a few tech issues clocking out but today has been nothing but tech issues. Tried with and without wifi, restarting my phone and reinstalling the app and still nothing works so that tells me it's your app.

I enjoy working for Shift Smart. That being said, the app leaves MUCH to be desired. Half the time it doesn't load, or shows a blank screen on the listing page. Trying to clock in, and out is a serious hassle. It either won't load, won't connect to the internet, or each time I take my picture the app reloads, and I have to start over. I can't count how many times I've been "late" for a shift because the app wouldn't work properly. The "message manager" button is a joke, as they rarely respond.

Wish I could say whether this app is worth it or not but I would have to get through their "onboarding" first. The first video plays fine, the quiz after the video crashes on the last question. I've uninstalled, cleared cache, etc but still crashes at the same spot. Edited 4/8/22 - App continues to be absolutely useless! I get shifts for 900 miles away. Try to reach out to the "manager" in app and never get a response back. Absolutely no support whatsoever. Support tickets unanswered.

I agree with the comments saying that the app is constantly crashing. Aside from that, I enjoy the shifts flexibility and the work thats done. I've never had a problem with payments. I feel they need more support option Aside from in the app or email that gets responded to after a week.

This app is works very intermittently, which makes for a very frustrating experience, the app can be very glitchy longing on can be a problem at times, if you are given training the instructions are not even in English nor do you have the option to change, and in some cases the option for training is not available, Shiftsmart is a great opportunity to earn, however the development for the app is woefully inadequate and you can miss out on earning options, I currently use a Samsung s10

Unable to find different opportunities anywhere in the immediate neighborhood, town, counties, cities, or region... Heck! Anywhere! It has been stuck forever on training for an opportunity that I didn't request, and nothing new has shown up. Removing if no answer by the end of the week.

Can not get passed on-boarding. They send a text all the time that tells you time is running out to download the app and complete the onboarding however, when you put email and phone number in it just repeats it self. Onboarding doesn't work at all. Now the app isn't working at all.

So far I have worked 4 times, so convenient to be able to pick the day & time & where I want to work. The downside is that I have had problems with the app when checking in for work. I am told that they are working on getting the bugs out. Everyone that I have had interactions with has been very nice & helpful, especially Julie.

Downloaded this app and 2 weeks later, nothing. No shifts. I have filled out everything other than certificates and still nothing. It sounds great in theory just like everything does but in reality does not work. Very dissapointed. I will update this if things change.

This app is genuinely frustrating. The work is solid and consistent and that's wonderful but it's like the whole company is running with 2 Gs of data and 100 employees. EDIT: 05/27: score went down to one star, Was on the phone for over an hour on hold attempting to get a manager on the phone cuz they don't answer chats consistently.

This is a MUST HAVE for freelancers or people looking for extra work. The most common issue I see is the app malfunctioning which could be from a bunch of reasons. Force close the app and clear the cache and it should work. My experience has been 10/10. Funds from my first shift was avaliable in 23 hours, and I just transferred to debit with no problem. #ShiftSmart

Its a good company with fun work. The only problem is the actual app itself. It will interupt your day, multiple times a day, to alert you of a shift that's available 500+ miles away! And also, when you try to sign in and start your shift, it sometimes takes 4 or 5 tries to be able to complete the sign in and / or the sign out.

Better communication needs to happen between the operators of the site and management in stores. Showing up to a closed store for a shift or accepting a shift and seeing they have someone there already isn't where it's at, noone wamts to waste their time. But other than that, the actual work being done isn't hard. This is my second day and shift with SHIFTSMART.

I really enjoy working for Shiftsmart, however I feel like the options I have for available shifts is limited and everytime I get a notification of available shifts they are farther and farther away. Also clocking in and out always seems to need me to submit 2 or 3 times before it will work and taking a paid 10 minute break during my shift is the same way if not worse.

I had no problem setting up or doing the training. The first shift I wasn't able to do cause they didn't schedule for a shiftsmart worker that day so didnt have a code for me. Canceled that shift and picked up a new one. There were already 2 ppl there when I got there, but they let me stay. I was able to connect my PayPal card to get paid (it took about 30hrs). Not many shifts close to me (I walk) but when there are, it's an ok bit of money.

Barely any jobs offered. Did one as a secret shopper. Did everything I was supposed to do, but when filling out the answers the app crashed 3 times before one went thru. But because it had crashed i was filling it out as fast as possible. I miss clicked on one bubble, accidentally hit the option right above mine. For that they denied my work and canceled my 13 bucks i was supposed to get. I think you'll have better luck begging for money on a street corner.

I Love this app, it was a bit confusing at first but I got it., have been shut down because of cell got smashed FINALLY received new one 6 days late but first app was this for me to reinstall on new phone to get started again.. They all at shiftsmart have been very polite, helpful & they usually respond in a timely fashion.. I see some had issues with it.. when trying to accept shifts , u click on the link they text u for available shifts, NOT THE ONE IN THE APP, then it will be in the shiftapp

The app glitches a lot. The app has to be closed and reopened several times to accomplish your task. It history missed in wifi connection. It does not perform concistanly when clockin or out. The company is awesome. The customer service great. The solutions department at yr service.

This app is the glitchiest I have ever seen even after just been updated. You cant pick a shift if you can never see them because the app continuously freezes and everything i click either doesnt respond or it brings up a white box. And clocking in doesnt work sometimes and the app is very slow.

Only been with Shiftsmart a few days but so far so good.There are opportunities to pick up one or several shifts. I have transportation issues but for someone who doesn't, they could easily earn $300 or so wkly. Its easy money and quickly accessible. I plan to stick around. Up to today I have yet to experience any true issues that are frustrating or even limiting to what I can do and make. Sure at times I can't check in properly all because a Pic won't upload but I message in app to manager or my personal support member and I continue on with working and when I need to check out its all been fixed and ready. The response time to having issues fixed is awesome as well as the bonuses. Although I live far up north and service isn't the greatest I have no problem!!!

I've had a great experience with working with shiftsmart. it was a little frustrating in the beginning but the support line has been spot on and they are very responsive on the app. they are really friendly and I appreciate the way I can schedule my shift and get paid the next day. I love it. its gotten me back to working full time.

This app is the best work app there is. What a great idea. And it's so convenient. I love shiftsmart. This is now my main source of income. Never had a problem with anything. Paid on time every time too. And anytime I've had a problem either within the app or at work or with payments, it's always been resolved quickly and efficiently. I recommend anyone looking for gig work or part time work or even full time work to try shiftsmart. They are paving the way in this type of work.
