I have had routers and wifi for many, many years. This is the first time EVER that an app has dictated to me what I can name my wifi, and what characters I can use in its password. Since I do not want to change any of my wifi names and passwords, this wifi add-on is completely useless. Absolute garbage. BTW, I have almost 4 years of experience in IT, including connectivity.

This App is ok for a first attempt however it lacks functionality like graph zoom and an option to choose what graphs you would like to see. You can see what each inverter is doing however it lacks an option to see what the entire plant is doing as a whole and the graphs to go with that. Growatt is a big company and to have this as their only App is a bit embarrassing. Please have good look at other platforms and follow with upgrades.

Nothing but problems! It's a great concept excepim pretty sure this app randomly changes the settings on my inverter. Today I opened the app up to find a low battery because this app decided to set charging amps to zero. 🙄 I want this to work so bad! I have smart plugs to turn on appliances like my hot water heater based on state of charge. I can't do this remotely if I have to remove the wifi dongle so that my inverter doesn't randomly change settings.

dear sir: I am trying to determine my load consumption in watts, although I can see that at the top of the first page, still can't get a cumulative increasing frequency numbers or chart for it! unlike other values... I expect that to be easily added to this software, shine phone, since we are getting load consumption every 5 min. the reason why this is so important, it gives an idea about the discharge and charging efficiency for the batteries we are using regardless of their type.

Used to work OK, then the shine-stick dongle stopped working. Since getting it to work again the app reports all the exported power as 'imported'. A little disconcerting and of course all of the historical data is nonsense now. Also I have elected to join a Virtual Power Plant but I'm told that after 50+ days, GroWatt have still not processed the VPP company's request to allow the system to join. Perhaps this review will help speed things up 🤔

An excellent app in every way. Not sure why there are any negative reviews, this app is perfect. It has all the information you could ever need and presented very clearly. It's reliable and its data is updated very frequently, a great app!

Very very bad app. It keeps on giving "Network time-out" for several days sometime. The data is not accurate specially the batteries status. I can read on my batteries display that they are 90% charged but the app read 25%. Their cloud service is down most of the times, therefore you cannot access your inverter data because of their weak cloud servers. I know Growatt is a huge company and it's a shame to have such poor service. i am considering to switch to Deye or some other brand.

The most terrible application I've seen in my life! As an application developer I am ashamed by what these developers did with this application. Bad experience, a lot of bugs, impossible to work with it without being dependent on the person who installed the inverter. I want to see the information about my equipment in my own account, not linked to the person who installed it. 0 stars but the minimum is 1 star. Shame on you developers! In how many years do you plan a new release or hotfix?

Fun, easy & educational to check how much power is /was being generated. Absolutely fascinating. Can't see easy way to change passcode but haven't studied manual thoroughly. Receiving a email response from manufactures

i love all the options in the app however there's a huge problem with latency, i would like to see real time updates about my electricity production, in addition to this there's many bugs in the app that isn't expected when you pay extra to buy the wifi dongle

Difficult to get connected. Don't follow the app instructions, search YouTube for the manual instructions. Also fairly basic functionality and customisation. Hopefully this will be updated with time.

Terrible app. Several empty graphs & charts, although the summary charts are populated. Far from intuitive with a clunky look & feel.

Functional.....but so many bugs, easily fixable bugs, that it seems like Growatt doesn't much care about the app. Big security issues too.

Only work about 40% of the time. I keep having to uninstall and then re install and even then it only work now and then. I've been using this app for two weeks and it's been off more than on.

Ok but still lot of options to come like export vs import stats. Resolving the bugs..

Not precise. SOC is by steps of 25% for tubular and gel batteries........ I am using Growatt SPF 5000ES which is limited in bulk voltage to 58.4 Volts only which is not compatible with robust tubular deep cycle batteries.

To me this feels like a web application that has been forced onto a phone, as graphics and text all way too small. to user cannot switch between portrait and landscape modes and the user should be able to disable the requirement for the ridiculous growwatt plus today's date password. Please update this application. I would also like a widget that you could put on your phone to show battery state of charge as this is the thing I'm sure most people open this application to look at.

I recommended to add a feature that allows user to choose which parameter can be shown in plant page such as battery voltage and load consumption in ampere to make it easier and friendly for users

The app is difficult to work with. The server won't connect. I'm only seeing add plant. What's up with that??

It took SOOO many attempts to connect the inverter to my WiFi and connect the app properly, but once connected it has been very stable. It's not bad, but it's pretty basic data that it shows. Would be great if the app could be updated to show local consumption and sent to grid figures alongside the production, to give a better picture of local usage.

OK. Take two, with fresh and clear mind (after last setup debacle). Terrible. Keeps asking for a password that isn't anything that's ever been set. Only uses 2.4MHz band, so be prepared to wind back your devices (most routers spit out both by default, so good luck from stopping your devices connecting to 5MHz - why would you want to anyway?). Might work with last century technology, but if you have up to date technology in your house, be prepared for lots of frustration and dissapointment.

Good application, you can supervise the system online, control the charging amount while you are far from the project. Thanks to the programmers and makers of it.

Basic requirements and functions are met. Would like to know what to do to get both LiIon batteries' information displayed correctly. One indicate on line whilst the other shows disconnected (which it is not). No matter if you change the battery on the dropdown list.

As others have said before me the setup process can be difficult - only connecting to 2.4 networks and not accepting any 'characters' in the wifi password certainly did not help. A lack of any decent help info/doc is also annoying - what are all of the numbers in the expanded All Parameters info??? However - the app functions well!
