Shiny Hunt Helper keeps track of your Shiny Hunts, as well as relevant information, as the Pokémon Name, the game you're hunting in and the used method, it doesn't matter if you're hatching eggs in the second generation or soft resetting in the last games of the main Pokémon series. All main games are compatible!
Also, Shiny Hunt Helper displays the odds of most of the available methods, even if you're chaining!

Really amazing has all the Pokemon games and versions! I would get a paid version in a heartbeat in order to remove ads! Otherwise I love what you're doing! As of September 2020, I opened the app and saw now it displays the shinies sprite in the hunting menu which is a really nice addition! Would recommend! but would love to take a paid version with no ads for like $5-$10.
I havent started using the app yet since it hasnt downloaded (internet is terrible where im at) but I hope its great and I like the concept a lot, seems to be a great app visually, I hope I dont have any problems with it closing like some people have mentioned, I will be editing my review to match my experience (I just want to not lose the app since I can't manage to add it to wishlist) Edit: pretty great! Maybe add a "I found a different pokemon than what I was hunting" type of thing so you could see how many you found before your target
Would love more options for methods like revives for fossils and obscure ones like dual slot mode, etc. Because the options are very limited, otherwise very good in UI and accessibility Edit: more in depth settings like phases, a check list etc would also be cool Edit 2: options for other games that have shinies like rumble, Go, Quest, Gale of Darkness, XD, etc would also help a lot of people
The app is almost perfect for its use. The only thing on its functionality that I can complain about are the odds of the ko combo in SwSh. But for me, the hud could be much better, they couldve put a customize area for the visual interface. Although, the app is great.
I love the app, but I am having an issue where whenever I try to start a new hunt, it kicks me out, meaning I can't actually use the app. It worked for a while, but stopped working today with no warning. I have tried reinstalling, but nothing is working. After this is solved, I will change to a 5 star review.
Great, but odds for sword and shield are incorrect. For every 100 battled the odds of encountering a shiny of that species increases and the app does not reflect this. For example after a 500 battled with the shiny charm your odds are 1/612 and it still reads the base odds.
I really like this app. But there are a few issues. I like to hunt on newer games. Usually X and Y, . The method I like to use is Pokeradar. Pokeradar on this appshows the odds for 4th generation games, which have higher odds. 6th gen and up have 1/2 the odds. If this issue could be fixed, I think that wiuld be amazing. Maybe add the option '6th gen Pokeradar', and '4th gen pokeradar'? Other than this, i very much enjoy the app, thank you to the developers!
Been using it for forever now, but the new update has made it so I can't create new hunts. The button is too low on my screen, and doesn't appear anymore.
It's an okay app. But I am missing a lot of features. Like when did the hunt start? Multiple hunts active. I am hunting 3 targets at the same time. Would be nice if I could make more tabs active.
really good and an amazing help but i have some improvements: galarian slowpoke is missing, you should be able to edit/delete a shiny that is in the "previous hunts" tab, add a button that says "phase" to let you know that it was a phase, have a dex where you can check pokemon off a list if you have its shiny, make shinies for pokemon go and pokemon rumble, and add a shiny counter to see the amount of shinies you have in total.
By far the best shiny hunting counter, it's got a very clean and unique feel that I love. The only criticism I would give is that it didn't have the shiny sprites, but now it does! Can recommend!
Amazing app, only issue is that sometimes finishing a hunt ends the top hunt. Not sure if that's patched now but it was that infrequent of an occurrence the app deserves 5/5
Nice app, the pixel designs are very unique, and as of the new update all the sprites are in their shiny form and you can scroll to see every shiny you've gotten. All my complaints were taken care of 10/10 would suggest.
Awesome app. My only wish is that it had widgets so you could display and update your counts directly from the home screen.
It's an amazing app for beginner and veteran Shiny Hunters alike! My only gripe is that the current version doesn't support the K.O Shiny Hunting Method for Sword and Shield, would love an update!
The only thing I would add to the app would be an option to add the phases of a hunt. Other than that it's helpful and easy to use
Amazing for Shiny encounter and starting huntals, will be perfect if it could be use as a tracker too, meaning that i could just add the shiny I already caught without starting a counter but this is a really good app.
I really love it. I just wish it had the shiny icons instead of the regular ones (you can find them in pokesprite resource web page). If they added that, 5* no doubt EDIT: They added them!! And cloud backup! 5* for sure!
Great but no way to pay to remove ads if this feature is added easily a 5 star app. But it is a great app nonetheless. Best shiny hunting counter out there
The app worked fine before, latest update makes you have an account with them to use the app. No thanks, uninstalled.
love using this app, i was wondering if maybe in the future you would make it so finished hunts would show by gen and for new hunts the option to hide hunts already done.
My favorire shiny hunt companion! I would love a paid ad-free version! Can't wait for the Combo Catch/Lure method update for Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee!
Great application but I think it miss an historic or research day by day to know how research incresases. Do you think it's a good idea and can you add this ?
It helps with shiny hunting but now on my phone i cant see the start hunting button at the bottom. Please fix
This app frequently deletes my ongoing hunts. I don't recommend it for anyone. You're better off using a physical pitch counter
App works like a charm. Only thing I could recommend is shiny sprites in the app
This app is great! It works seemingly perfectly for gen 2-7, however, I found a glitch. When you select either of the let's go games, there is an option for Masuda method but no catch chaining (not the glitch but relevant) so when you select any of the available options, it says that it is in Pokémon Y, and that the odds are 1/8192 instead of 1/4096 in both Y and let's go. Otherwise, this is a fantastic tool that has helped me for several weeks now. Hope this helps!
