Ship – Date and Get Shipped by Your Friends

Accidentally chose the wrong birth year. Then had to re-download. I believe I misspelled my email address because I'm not receiving the verification code, but it won't let me change it or restart. Please help! Doing this for a friend.

Love the general concept and sharing it with friends. However, I seem to be missing features my Apple friends have. We are all in the same group, but I cant access the "activity" feature. They are chatting about shares in the convo tab and I'm completely left out, because I cant see the other tab. Seems like something that should not be hard to update. Update: 3 years later and the Android version is still VERY buggy. Very little of the functionality seems to work as it does on Apple.

Android app lacks the ability to change your profile picture (I've dragged and dropped several times, but the change is never saved). Drag that you can't filter based on what you're looking for (casual, relationship) - and you don't even see that info when swiping, you have to click to the person's profile for that. Meh. Just like the others but with fewer features/more bugs to be worked out (I can share my pass w/my frends if all I want them is for them to swipe for me!).

I love the concept of this app, but there are quite a few bugs to be worked out and improvements to be made. Looks like it's pretty new though, so that's to be expected! Main problem I and my friends are having is the gender customization feature. It often crashes the app :/ Many of my settings (such as show gender on profile, potential matches' age range + location range) keep resetting and won't save. Other than that, keep up the good work, devs! Excited to see what features get rolled out!

Its a pretty cool concept and i think this has what it takes to become a superb dating app. Would've given 5 stars but first, my phone crashes every time I get a notification, I guess due to the lack of optimization for notifications on a second screen. Second, it still lacks quite a bit of people, but I'm sure you guys will get there. Best of luck!

App must have access to your contacts. It will not let you add just your friends that have the app. There's no way to search or send a link without the app seeing all of your contacts. Also, updating your photos never works correctly. I've repeatedly tried to delete a photo and replace it with a newer one but changes simply will not save.

I really love the concept and was excited to help my friend who is pretty burned out of the whole online dating scene. However, this app is so glitchy! Mine never loads or the activity screen is always coming soon. Another friend of ours is showing on our crew but on her screen it looks like our friend never approved her. Because of all this glitching, my friend who's looking for someone doesnt know if her lack of replies in conversations is from her or due to the glitches! Frustrating!

Okay, so I love the idea of the app it's great and a fun way to engage your potential love life with your friends. But please fix the app for android! Virtually all the features that make Ship unique are not up and running yet! Most, like allowing you to add photos to your chat, should not be too time consuning to implement and would greatly improve the experience for people with non-ios phones.

Love the concept behind this app, but the Android version is missing some of the best features :(. I can't see any of the activity, can't share profiles, and can't even send pictures in the chat :(. Also, it would be cool if the chat had the same feature as iMessage where you can like or 'react' to people's messages. Keep working on the Android version, please!!!!

Cool idea but I was only able to swipe right on 3 people for my friend before running out of likes? I understand it's a "freemium" model but it comes off as a blatant money grab. Compare to Tinder which has unlimited swipes and is still very lucrative. I think this app needs to provide more value before charging for basic features. It's virtually unusable without payment.

Seems like a neat idea, but its disappointingly basic. No search filters outside of gender/age. What's the point of a "looking for" option when you can't use it to find people looking for the same thing as you? I've seen literally one profile where someone has written something in their "about me". As Tinder already has a "share profile" feature, this app doesn't seem to really have anything significant to set it apart.

Utter trash. 95% of the profiles are incomplete (only consists of one picture or have no bio). People do not actively check this app so conversations die quickly and matches are limited. The app tells you how far away someone is when swiping, but not after matching, so if you travel often it's impossible to know where someone is located. Very limited likes per day. Oh and it's owned by match group (tinder, hinge, match, okcupid) so just another way for them to use and absuse your data.

I like the app so far! The concept is fun, and the layout is pretty easy to navigate so that's a plus. I think it would be cool if there was a "top books" or "top music artists" section like the top shows one, because I tend to read more than I watch TV.

I was excited about this app to use with friends to help a single friend find love. Despite us all eagerly picking many prospective people for my friend, no matches have ever materialised. My friend's profile is good with a lovely picture, there would be no reason no matches have happened over a month of swiping. I contacted Ship and they said they would look into it three weeks ago (they said it could be a glitch), but have heard nothing. We are now all deleting this poor performing app. ☹

My first review was hopeful and positive but after using the app for three days, my friend received not a single match. I reached out to support to see if there was any glitches they were aware of but they only suggested that because my friend and I don't share the same operating platform that we weren't able to use the app to the full extent but assured me my swipes still counted for my friend. I'm pretty sure that's false. We had no luck at all. No matches. No activity. Boo.

Feel like I tried this app way too soon. As there is no users near me that I can see. And the app itself is lacking in many features atm. For example the ability to set the distance to anywhere and not only 200 miles radius in the settings. And many more things.

I've only used it for one day so far, but since I went through the amount of likes I can send in a day fairly quickly, I decided to browse through some of the other features that were available. There's a lot of features that have to be paid for, but they aren't really over the top expensive, which, in my mind, makes up for the fact that so many things need to be purchased. $10 on Tinder gets you unlimited likes for a month, $10 here gets you the same thing for 3 months. I can't really complain.

The app is okay. The matches are really limited especially even after changing your preferences. Also, when creating a profile all you really add is a profile photo. There isn't a section to tell about yourself, hobbies or your interests so others can't tell if they are interested in you at all, but instead have to just look at your profile photo and decide upon that.

Navigation took a minute to get used to. I really appreciate the effort to use swiping and tapping and moving away from cutting up the screen with buttons. Totally dig the idea of matching for friends! Great way to help them out. ,

The concept is interesting/good, but I have to restart it frequently, shipped profiles do not have thumbs up/down kind of defeating the point, some of the profile options need work (e.g. there's no about me that I can see, I should be able to input my primary location unless they're trying to compete with Tinder)

Should never have been released on Android in such an unfinished state. Missing so many vital features in comparison to iOS version that its borderline useless. Want to see the activities of your friends and crews (basically the entire point of the app)? Cant. But dont worry, its "coming soon."

My friend asked me to get this to help her find a potential partner. While I appreciate the thought behind the app and the concept, it is extremely annoying that I can't see anything apple users see. Making the app be usable across platforms would be a great update and one that is needed.

I was really excited to try a new app like this, but there's only man and woman for the genders. When I tried to click to add my own, no button appeared for me to press okay and there was no way forward, no matter what I pressed. Not even having a premade option for non binary users seems a bit odd considering the options on a lot of other apps. I ended up not even getting past that part, because I didn't want to lie about my gender just to gain access to the rest of the app.

After 72 hours, the app seems to have less bots or fake profiles than other dating apps. Clean design, very appealing. The limited likes you can send per day is annoying but understandable. My biggest complaint is there aren't enough ways to earn or even buy sparks to unlock perks. My only option is to invite friends but that is not an option for those who have moved to a new area. Gift sparks to users until you add more ways to earn sparks. Without sparks there are no success stories.

Can only add friends that you have their phone numbers with saved in your phone? It claims you can add through social media messages, but it only ever generates link to download the app. I don't keep contacts in my phone, so have no way of adding friends in the app. Completely blocked from using it.

I love the idea, but ever since I downloaded the app yesterday I haven't been able to connect with my friends' accounts for some reason, which I feel like defeats the whole purpose. I think the app sounds like a lot of fun but it needs a couple bugs fixed!

I downloaded the app and invited my closest friends to help me out. Expect I can't see one of my friends request, even though she sees me. I can't see the pictures that I am being sent in the messages. Would be an awesome dating app, but this sucks, not having the ability to see or accept my friends to ship for me.

The app won't load anyone's photo but mine. I'm connected to WiFi, so there shouldn't be any issue here. Fix and I will change rating. *UPDATE* I uninstalled and reinstalled app after additional problem - same four people keep getting recycled in swiping with no regard to whether I swiped left or right. No more are showing besides those four now. The reboot did not help.

I just downloaded it and completed my profile but I have not been able to see even one match. So far I do not even have the option to swipe and have not so much as seeing another profile. It's extremely glitchy and doesn't seem to have been formatted properly for my platform. Please investigate it

Really great concept, but the app is slow to refresh so I can't see my friend's ships in real time. Also, although I can click on the profiles of my friend's recommendations, there is no way for me to like/dislike them directly. I have to wait for them to come up on my feed.
