Ship Sim 2019

When I first got in, the first 2 missions were very fun. Then, I selected a long distance mission, which I regreted. The gameplay is very slow, and doesn't feel peaceful or casual, it's just a game where you adjust your boat in the right direction, make sure it doesn't hit anything, park the boat, then move on. It's a very interesting concept for a game, but it just the gameplay needs some tweaking.

The game has potential but after a while it can get boring the way it is right now. It would be more fun if it had wind and better wave effects and impacts on the ship, bearing indications, ability to set waypoints, etc. Right now you can plow through a storm without even having to correct the course. Keep it up! You can make it better and more enjoyable. I'll write a better review then.

As soon as you put some distance between you and your starting port, the game skips to the destination. So it's a parking game, not a proper sailing game. However, excellent graphics and physics, better than average controls, so if not for the previously stated and the fact that getting a new ship it's... a bit costly, it would be a great simulator.

This is a good game but it needs some improvements. #1 Add other moving (sailing) ships so the players won't feel alone when sailing. #2 add some staffs in the captain's cabin like the 2nd officer, navigator, etc. I want to see some people. #3 Please add some passengers. It feels like the cruise ship is empty. #4 Add more lights to the ship (not only in the front). I found only 1 problem, I can't save the game because it says that there's an error connecting to Facebook. Please fix it.

excellent! i love it! the game has more potential only if you guys allow us to do the voyage plan for the entire job, your course line leads us to rocky shoals, and it's better if you also add some crossing situations while underway, bigger waves, stronger storms, and fix those navigational lights, put red light for port side, green for starboard side, and stren light. and why is that inside the bridge is so very shakey? can you fix that?

Good game with some challenging ports to dock at. I would like to see AI ship traffic while sailing between ports. I would also like to have resizable radar scope so that you can manipulate the controls without bringing up the map. Finally, when in the view from the bridge, make the various pieces interactive and be able to move about on the bridge.

This is a really underdeveloped app with a lot of potential. It's like they never finished the game. Graphics and ship controls are good, but there are some major flaws with the fast travel mode, the docking rating clearly doesn't work, and there's basically no challenge whatsoever. If some sort of route charting, weather conditions, any other factors etc. came into play this game could be epic, but it's pretty useless in it's current state.

Good graphics but the controls are very clunky. The slides used to control the side thrusters are very small and hard to use. I wish they had a button to stop both side thrusters as they are difficult to center manually even with that small margin in the center where they snap. Gameplay is decent, however the banner ad at the top of the screen obstructs your view severely, and very rapidly becomes annoying. I understand the video ads at the end of a mission, but that banner is going way too far.

I've only been able to complete two missions so far due to the controls of the side engines. They are not very responsive; difficulty in manipulating them. They move from one extreme to the other. By the time I get them in mid position I've damaged the ship. Maybe it's this cheap gov. phone. I'm buying the latest Samsung tablet in Oct. Hope that solves the issue. I love all your games; the details; the realism! You guys/gals ROCK!!!

This game is awesome!!! Please improve the graphics and details. Add more features to make it more realistic! Like cargo operations, waves, details of the ship, port etc. More physics! Really like this game. And btw, please put some indicators on the map so we can avoid shallow waters and add more ships and make them moving as well and underway. Thanks!!

Interesting & challageing. I have been on the same mission for a week. No matter which way you go you are blocked by mountains. It is one thing for a game to be challageing, but when it becomes impossible it is no longer fun. I finally made port. A brutal trip! I have 3 OVILEX games & like them all. Again for 5 days I have been on the same mission. I have at least 8 hours trying to get to port. Very irratating! You make it impossible to play the game. I am not going to uninstall it as I have $85.

This game has great potential. Feels like you have built a great base to build an awesome game from. Be great if there was an option for the map to show a suggested route line instead of the "as the crow flies" line. And even a play back of the route you took once docking is complete. Also be great to see other ships out on the water and have to adjust course accordingly. Plus the addition of large waves /rough seas during a storm.

I actually like this game, one of the very few driving games from Ovilex that is pretty decent. Thats because there's no surrounding ai traffic, as someone who has played quite a few Ovilex simulators that's one aspect of it they could never get right. Not having to deal with that makes for a more relaxing And entertaining game,this is a game you could play while chillin, laying in bed. Although I have noticed sometimes ships appear to be going faster than what your speed indictor shows.

A very good and very accurate depiction of how a 21st Century Merchant-man operates. The controls are very realistic. Graphics are also very nice. Most of the gameplay is also very good. However, anboard camera is fixed only on the bridge and port-wing currently, I'd appreciate if gamers can move it around the vessel, a sort of more authentic "1st person" view of the entire ship. And free time laps would also be very nice. But on the whole it is a very good game, playing is believing I'd say!

This game is dope. For some reason, the view on camera 7 is shaky. Can you fix that? Also you for the radio, you should make it to where you have to option to choose what you want to say, not just a random announcement. You also make it to where you can hold down the horn button because the horn sound for a few seconds and then stops. You should also add a button for a ship alarm. You should also add a multiplayer mode.

Great game, great graphics and everything but a bigger map would be nice, more options in the paint scheme would be nice, more realism in the storm graphics would be nice, and the option to remove the text graphics off the side of the ships would be nice too, radar to show shallow water would be nice instead of finding out the hard way, and ability to walk around the ship would be nice. Overall though it's a really good game.

This game is a real deal because the way that the ship is docking in the port and the way that you unload and load a cargo is so fun. But the one that keep me not comfortable is its so slow to have more money to buy a new ship not like the flight simulator you can easily buy a new plain! I hope that you will change this or add more upgrades to this unique game.

As a seafarer, I think the developers might want to take this into consideration, I gave it a 3 stars just for the effort alone, and the time it took for research, but 1) some of the ships under the tanker category are not tankers, they are BULK CARRIERS, they carry entirely a diff. type of cargo. 2) make the water and weather more realistic, it is fun if you add ships that are moving around. 3) make the flag just a one time purchase. 4) fix the overall graphics. I know you can do better. :)

Gave three stars because it could be a really good game. Unfortunately, you have to find the out of the way route to your destination because every sensible route has shallow water. These boats come equipped with sonars so they don't have to back up and go back around a thousand times. Not trying to complain but it really does take the playability straight out of this game."

Great game. Great graphics and realistic ships. I only give four stars. I do hope on the next update, there will be storms at sea, like big waves, windshield wipers at the bridge, rain effects on windshield, right color of deck and side lights, to be more realistic. Overall, love it and enjoyed the game. Thumbs up. 👍

Honestly the game is awesome to play. but as a real seafarer i noticed a few things with the ships like the navigational lights which is all white. starboard side should be red and port side would be green. a little bit more detail with the ships and I'm sure it would add more to the realism to the game. and i hope that the name of the vessel could be moved right on the bow instead on the side

this game deserves 5 Stars because the game runs smoothly, graphics are sensational and I've never seen anything like it. Also this has completed the collection because ovidiu pop has made games for land, air and now sea. which is incredible. also I have a recommendation, what if we had emergency scenarios during the voyage and have the ship sink when the damage reaches zero? By the way would it be possible to add working amber and red wig wag flashers to the school bus in the 2017 bus simulator

So obviously there are a huge amount of reviewers who don't play the game..so here I will offer a review, hopefully with substance. the game is fun if kinda silly in that you are the only ship in motion and all others are static displays.no fathometer, just a shallow water alarm with no indication of how to maneuver. no charting or even a zoom in to local map, radar is all but useless. the ship control dynamics are excellent and the docking is a challenge. Not a ship sim, just a boat driving game

After the 5th mission banner adds appeared on the top and bottom of the screen... Which is cool everyone has to make a living but the ads that appeared at the bottom of the screen block the thrusters and the steering wheel so you can't drive the boat... I was in the middle of docking the ship when these ads appeared. My aft Thruster was engaged and I couldn't shut it off so the boat just spun out of control and crashed... Had to delete... Other than that the most awesome game I've ever seen

To say that I was disappointed is putting it mildly, but I guess Ovilex is more interested in making software than the opinions of their users. Since I really like this game, I decided to invest in purchasing all the ships, that was okay and although some camera views were a bit shaky (the bridge) I was okay with that. Then I attempted to use a different device, since I have more than one, seems that this was not an option, so my purchase was only good for one device. Naturally I asked for a refund from Google (and received it) What concerned me the most is that when complained to Ovilex, there was no response. I guess they don't really care about the people who spend money with them. In other words, use caution when you buy anything, because you may not get what you pay for. Incidentally, the sync option with Facebook does not work, so any game you play will be restricted to the device you are using at the time.

I really want to like this game, but it just seems...incomplete. Maybe that's not the right word, but it just feels like I must be doing something wrong simply because of a lack of fundamental features. I feel like I should be able to zoom in further on the maps or have the ability to set waypoints. The inclusion of radio, lights, horn, and storms would be cool if they weren't just decorative. This game gets like 60% of the way there, but just gives up on the details that would make it great.

The game is great but I do have many suggestion to improve the game I mean to add more details such us 1. You should add a feature that can create your own path from dock to dock so you can follow the path and you can avoid shallow waters and ofcourse you don't have to check the map because you can see the path in the minimap or radar 2. The radar should detect ships 2.1 moving ships is also good, you can add bot ships that goes dock to another dock..I will email because I've reach the 500 limit
