With the new updates. I can no longer zoom in and get a clear pic of where vessels are. Also, everytime I open the app, now it shows the whole globe. So I have to zoom back in to where I am at. The new update seems to have made the app worse for me

Been using this app for a while but since updating my Samsung phone it's stopped working

NOW IT IS WORKING OK, BUT PLS RETURN BACK REFRESH BUTTON LIKE IT WAS ON PREVIOUS VSRSION.
I am in Demo mode 4/21/2017. I pay for Marine Traffic app and the ship I am going aboard says it is going to Houston and ETA is 0700. Well the agent told us tomorrow it will dock down in corpus and your app is up to date. I am afraid of what the cost will be for me to just use this for port eta and current position/heading once the demo period is over. But right now yall get 5 gold stars and 2 cookies. And I need to google how much 42€ is and what exactly is a € at forst i thought it was 42 cents. . Im the real deal and from the USA and Im in charge here.
Stunningly overpriced app that is clearly intended for business users only. With the FREE Version: You get to see the position of ships! (At least where they were 72-hours ago) and DEMO mode (lasts for how long?) allows real-time viewing of all the little arrows and dots. That's about it. Otherwise, NO pictures; NO filters (cannot filter by vessel type, for example); NO easy way to return to previous search results or history, so you're always starting from scratch. LOTS of pinching and zooming and dragging to navigate around, as there are no zoom buttons. MANY more issues that make the whole user experience clunky, unintuitive, and not much fun. If you want a better app with more features, no problem. You only need pay 42 Euros a month (that's right, PER MONTH!) to ShippingExplorer for pictures and better access to their desktop based system; because that's why we have apps, so we can then have to go online to actually get any use of them. All of these ship tracker apps have a long way to go before they will ever be of the quality of their far more reasonably priced flight tracker brethren. At least for the casual hobbyist user, there isn't much to be found in these free versions
Tried to follow progress of vessel selected as a favourire; however, it was consistently located incorrectly on map. Uninstalled.
Used to work ok but now hasn't updated some ships in a month when other apps show they are active cleared cache and reinstalled app no luck, Shame as generally I liked the interface.
Just got app still checking it out will raise rating as I see more.
...really needs to use a color other than white for private craft. When moored near land they blend into the white of the map and are essentially invisible.
Free to down load however to actually search for anything you need to register and pay 42€
Quite surprised with it as lt was free plenty of relavant information i enjoy looking at it a few times a day well worth down loading it.
Showed 1st ship I tracked approx 10,000 nautical miles from where it actually is.
Can't find ships or info hopelessly out of date. Tauranga (New Zealand) has apparently moved to the English Channel.
Where a ship was 16 hours ago is no use whatsoever !
Searching for a ship by name finds the ship, but then displays the position of a completely one.
As I'm a long term user, can say that after the 30 June 2020 update, the application doesn't remember last focused map position and starting each time on general world map so please fix it asap. Thanks. ***update*** Really doesn't work properly! The worst update... To be wait 5 minutes for appear ships on the chart, every search goes to general World map, etc. etc. Previous version was much more better...
