I liked it until I could not log back in with my new phone. Is this app still available or not? Help please

is it even supported any more?

It keeps crashing after cropping the photo and pressing next. I'm not able to scan not even one photo. Fix it please

Deleted this app for months because it was broken. Called CS and they said it was fixed so I reinstalled it and it worked for 1 photo and then the same issue, "shoebox has stopped " So please fix this once wonderful app. I would even pay for one that cost money because it was so helpful to my genealogy work. Signed: Sad and Confused!!

Every time I hit next button on the crop screen the app stopps.

This used to work now it crashes 100% of the time on a Samsung note 4. The upload feature works.

Does great. Save time adding new photos and they turn out clearer than scanned ones do often. I'm thrilled.

Take shot, crop shot, save shot and "Unfortunately Shoebox has stopped" If I was the only one saying this I'd have thought I was doing something wrong. Fix it please or remove from the store.

Great interface, it does exactly what I would want it to do as a way to scan my family photos - but the description information doesn't get set into XMP? That makes it ENTIRELY USELESS to me.

It made my battery drain super fast and made my phone hot everytime i got on the app

Having the only copies of some old photos I worried that something might happen to them, now my family all have copies too!

Works ok with ancestry.. just get too many failed attempts at loading photos

Like all the other feedback.. it's now buggy. Can ya fix it. Working it with Ancestry should be great...can they throw a few bucks your way to tool it & make it all better?

It worked great now it won't let me get past cropping the photo

Allows you to take image, but not move forward to crop, straighten etc.

Perfect tool for my Ancestry Tree

Poor user interface. Cropping often distorts the picture if you load pictures from your phones, gallery. Need to be able to see the name of the photo when browsing or selecting photos. Selrcting the relative: Needs to be able to display basic relative data so you can confirm you have selected the right one.

I like this app, except the photos all tend to be on the dark side dispite good lighting and my decent phone camera. Tagging people in big reunion photos is also a bit of a pain when there is only so much room on my phone screen. But overall it is a convenient app to upload pics to ancestry quickly and without much fuss.

Currently only half the app it should be as I can only upload photos from my device's gallery. Any images taken with the camera in the app always fail to upload. Considering that the functionality of the camera in a photo app is pretty important, I hope the devs actually sort it out as having to switch between apps (camera and shoe box) is annoying as hell.

My photos have failed to save on a few occations. Would love some extended menu options to try again but save photo on device for retry later. Great idea but keep working on the bugs guys. Also would love options for flash without exiting to go to camera.

I switched to US Cellular in November 2016. This App was working wonderfully with Verizon, but now with US Cellular, I try to connect pics to individuals in my tree, it does originally connect to them in this App but never syncs and gets uploaded to the Ancestry tree. I've just attempted to adjust the phone settings to sync thinking that will help, but the pics still don't sync nor the Shoebox pics Identify who they had been previously connected to now. Ugh.

This has proven to be an excellent app for taking photos of existing photos. I especially like the fact that it is capable of compensating for accidentally skewing the photo by holding the camera/phone/tablet at an angle to the original, as opposed to being absolutely parallel. It has allowed me to preserve photos that I thought were pretty much hopeless cases because they were too fragile to be removed from their frames.

This app has so much potential, but it fails to be great. To be truly useful this app needs to be an Android Intent target, so that I can send/share existing photos from any other app that also supports sharing, to this app. Cropping needs to enforce a rectangle and allow repositioning. Navigation is also frustrating: when adding a batch of pictures from the same date on Google Photos, I am forced to begin navigating from the very beginning again, each time I add another picture; over and over.

Tried this out, not expecting much but was very impressed. Photos scanned and uploaded to Ancestry tree really quickly. Didn't even have to remember the person I wanted to tag as it let me search for them. Love it! (Using HTC One)

So far I live shoe bix. Its great for easily snapping a photo of a photo and its and easily crop it to the edges. Perfect for tagging family tree members. It suddenly stops at times, need to work out the bugs.
