Love the game, but can only rate 3 stars till the mobile platform becomes stable. I've had no choice put to switch to playing on steam full time. On my mobile it crashes after the loading screen everytime. It's essentially unplayable which is a real shame as I'd like to enjoy this game on the go as I was able to in the past. This issue has been ongoing a long time now too. Thanks devs for your work, please look into these ongoing mobile issues.
Really fun game, I've played it for more than two years myself. It's a time sink, but mostly It's a wallet sink. If you don't have spare cash to throw at this game, it won't be nearly as fun in the long run. Progression never truly halts, but you WILL inevitably feel the slowed progression after playing long enough. Otherwise a great game! Never had issues with crashing or with their support teams for the various issues I've had. Just be careful with this one if you don't have spare cash!
The game is great until a certain point, quite fun and relaxing. Once you reach the current tier of the game though (12 as of writing this), you're forced into terrible mechanics that severely limit your ability to play. These barrier mechanics will force you into very specific hero selections in order to progress, which has destroyed years of hard work for the player base. But up to there it's great! Just stop before the end so all the time and money you put in doesn't become worthless.
Great game. Way better than I was expecting when I first installed, but there are two main issues. Prior to the most recent update, the game crashed maybe after 10-15 minutes of playing. Now it's about every 2-3 minutes. Also, $20-$50 to unlock a single crafter is way to much. If it was $50 for all of them then maybe. I don't mind spending money on free games, but that much, this often is unreasonable. Maybe make them available for free to subscribers who pay every month for premium.
5 stars for a great game. 1 star for the cost of add ons. The paywall hits pretty hard at level 40 and the $50 to purchase the last two crafters is a little excessive. I don't mind spending money on a game but I feel the developers of this app are a little greedy in the price of the additional crafters. When you consider you can't save up premium in game currency to buy the crafters, that you have to spend $50 to get them it seems a bit much. Aside from that the game itself is quite fun.
Great game. Whenever you level up a character multiple times, it doesn't say that they can equip new items if that wasn't unlocked on the most recent level up. This indicates the level up message shows the benefits of only the last level that was gained. I believe it is better to show the cumulative benefits of all the levels that were gained in one expedition.
Edit - THE COST IS TOO MUCH AND UNFAIR TO LOYAL PLAYERS. I still love this game given the 2.5 years I've played. They have put together all functions I love in a mobile game with a beautiful design. The only problem is that you have to pay for things that should just be "quality of play" features. Instead, the game constantly pushes players to subscribe to a monthly payment plan. I won't play this game without the quality of play features, but I'm also tired of paying a premium.
Really fun game with well crafted, wonderfully cute animations. I love being able to join a guild with my friends as we help each others shops grow. I just wish that there were more customization options for the shops. --- Update, now there are! So many fun additions and events have been added. I DO wish that the upgrade system for vendors was balanced better... But even with that annoying factor, I still enjoy & play this game every day 🙂
It's actually a really good game, its not pay to win or pay to get ahead. It's definitely a slower pace if you dont pay for extra gems but you can still progress if you dont. The prices for gems and such are too crazy and the special deals or packages do make it worth while. Only thing I would add is make the quests more interactive.
Wonderful core experience marred by exclusive premium content. This one was hard to uninstall. A wonderful world and solid core mechanics. Guilds and market were fun. The hero/adventure stuff was cool. However, entire mechanics, characters, and item types are locked behind microtransactions with no way to unlock through normal gameplay. They are not cheap and to make matters worse, limited time events which grant content require premium content to complete fully. Unacceptable. Uninstalled.
I love this game it's awesome... Totally free and you can get playing for ages without even a thought for spending money on it... Maybe a bit of a lower price for things and I might buy something... Still it's a great game with no ads whatsoever... I've been finding it drops off server alot though but there's good periods and bad periods... They make sure they update and there events all the time... I love it... You need more character design different faces... The colours etc cost way too much
After 2 years on here..... I'm often on the fence as to whether or not I'm going to delete this game, but it's a decent short break type of game. Monotony is a factor. New features are rare and cost 18.95 to use. I am a royal merchant in the game which means I DO chuck in 10 a month, but the benefits of that feel smaller and smaller as time and levels go by.
My phone has 5gb of RAM and there are no other apps open on my device yet this game still force closes every 5 minutes. Very poor user experience. Alas, if the game was stable and certain characters didn't require the spending of actual money to unlock, I would highly recommend it as it is very fun when it works. Just give people an option to progress without paying 20+ dollars for certain characters. You have token missions for the others. Why not make it a universal thing? Just seems greedy.
Great game, pace slows as you advance to late game quite a but but stretches the content well. Mechanics are good although they need to fix the damn leaderboard, it has been empty since the big banning, and it needs to be updated to current rankings, please fix this error and the game will be sublime again. Thanks you Kabam. Edit 1: reviews complaining about the hero system change are cry babies, if it affects them, they have the resources to compensate, it isn't throw away the game lol.
No ads for main gameplay so I changed my review from 1 star because of this. While there seems to be a lack of actual gameplay, this game delivers a satisfying feeling of owning a shop for adventurers. There is not much for AFK or sleep progression besides quests, which supplies you with better materials for making better items to sell. All of this without ads is enough. 5/23 edit: I got 777 in the slots but not in the middle line so it doesn't count apparently.... Back to 1 star you sick devs..
Surprisingly not terrible. Not good, but not terrible. When I saw the ads for this I thought for sure it would be another ad infested, micro-transaction riddled mess pretending to be a game. I was half right. No ads but lots of overpriced microtransactions. It's like $50 to unlock all the extra workers. For a mobile game? Yeah right. Aside from that the game is mostly waiting for timers while you manage a shop, which isn't the worst thing but not great either.
This is one of those very few games that are advertised as what you actually do. When I got it I expected it to be full of ads and only play for a bit. Well I've sunk a good chunk of money into it and have been having a lot of fun with it. They give you a lot of freedoms to do what you want with your shop and naming your characters. All around out of 10 I'd give it a 9. Solid 9/10 because I did have a problem with one of the kings packs not allowing me to buy it and a few other things
I love the game I have been playing a long time and have spent alot of money on this game. The support are useless. Personally they charge to much for new characters and the monthly subscription. I asked for help from the devs and they spoke to me like I was stupid, I do not appreciate the way they spoke to me and repeated everything sarcastically. I asked for an issue to be fixed, I've been in touch with the support for nearly two months to fix a tiny issue and it still hasn't been resolved.
Free to playlish. The game story is very stagnant. The PvE elements are basic. While it's cool having our own heroes. It would be cool to see this element expanded. I know it's not a real time strategy game. However, it would be nice to see a AI controlled kingdom hearts style PvE gameplay. That way it could be expanded into clan battles against players and AI enemies.
This game could be fun, crafting, selling, gathering components, dungeon diving, levelling up and character development but it very quickly becomes a pay to play and they do it so very obviously. Level up your workers for better crafting speeds and blueprints but only until level 4 after which levelling (done by investing in them) becomes insanely expensive, grind forcing you to buy gems and coins for real cash. Then the reality of necessity for crafting quickly and in great number, heartbroken.
It's a nice game and addictive to be fair, although it would be good add more ways and easier ways to get materials. And another great and fun touch would be having an option of opening and closing the shop. Whenever you run out of stock it would be great to be able to close the shop until you get them full once more it's annoying when customers walk in when you want to restock
