This app is okay. However I find it funny that whenever I attempt to enter a longer (2+ image), higher value receipt ($100+) it NEVER goes through (and yes I try to resend it later in the day or the next day or two after). It's very frustrating because I know my daughter's school is missing out on points. Makes one wonder if they do that on purpose. I never have probs with smaller, lower value receipts. They go through almost instantly. Fix that & then I can give this app a higher rating.
While the app has a great concept and purpose. It has gradually gotten worse at processing receipts. And when you try to contact for help you're not allowed to send the message there's always an error. So what's the point of having the option in the app if I have to come here to get a response. My latest receipt has all the information needed and should have been awarded points but was not, so I reported a mistake and that I was rewarded nothing. I will suggest to our PTA we use a diff app!
I've been using this for a few years to support my kids school. lately, last few months, many receipts are being tagged as Duplicates, even though they are clearly not dupes. I have to go in and mark them incorrect with a lot more frequency than I have had to do in the past. not sure if this relates to a recent update. but it makes the process incredibly time consuming if you have to constantly request a correction. is this a recent bug?
It's a great app and concept, except that it really doesn't read receipts that well, you can report a mistake once but then it's a settled matter, and it will incorrectly tell me I have duplicate receipts or blurry receipts and I don't know how much clearer they could be without me mailing it in to you. I have one receipt for a 300 dollar purchase at gamestop that it keeps telling me is incomplete but it is a short, one item purchase that is clear, clearly marked, date and time stamped.
Have not been able to upload receipts for the past week, though about to a reply from another review on Google Play, that's because Shoparoo is no longer accepting them in-app. Horrible customer experience to not have been informed of that by the company directly, especially when I've used this app for almost four years now.
Shoparoo use to be great but I've sent them three emails for help and messages through Facebook messenger. I still can't get anyone to help. I don't know what happened to their customer service department, but they need to get it worked out!
Pictures are always blurry no matter what!! Waste of time taking the same picture over and over. I should be able to just upload my own pic and not have to use the camera on the app! Will no longer be wasting my time.
Worked great this past year until 5 days ago. Every reciept I upload says, "oops something went wrong, unable to upload..." I understand they are ending the program but it said we could upload receipts until Aug.31 and with schools in desperate need of fundraising I dont understand why they won't accept any reciepts. I've tried numerous times a day for the last 5 days with no luck.
They don't always give proper points for receipts. I buy chicken feed from Tractor Supply and they never give me the cart credit they always give me a sweepstakes. Tractor Supply sells pet supplies just like pet stores.
Very easy to use and creates friendly competition that benefits the school. I would add 5th star if able to upload digital receipts or screenshots of digital receipts.
Click on developer info. It says thanks and goodbye. They have closed the program down and moved on to something else! Wish they would have sent a mass e-mail telling us this back in JULY!
I can't stop uploading receipts and checking my score! I love it. No effort, regular day of shopping, take picture and submit. School gets money!
needs a tab to inform somebody when the APP is not properly giving the correct total of points after receipts are loaded and rewared ive added the points up from receipts and it does not reflect the total points earned.....
This app is great just the only downfall is that there's a limit to how many receipts I can submit. I also don't understand why the app needs to know my income?
Had a lot of trouble getting it to work, but emailed C/Service and rec'd a reply right away and an answer that it was corrected within a few hours!
This app is easy to use but gives lower rewards than apps like it. CUSTOMER SERVICR IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! They havent repliee once. Shame!
When will we b able to upload receipts again???? Also, I believe that you should say something on the app or give us a notification that says when we can upload receipts again nd when to stop sending the receipts in.
Good idea overall. Very frustrating that my reciepts keep coming up as duplicates even though they are not.
I never had a chance to see if this app works because they are discontinuing this app next month. So I wasted my time uploading receipts.
Appears that this may be connected with the Receipt Hog app, since I repeatedly get a duplicate receipt message with brand new receipts when I scan them in receipt Hog first.
I have had no issues with this app until recently. It now won't let me submit any receipts. Maybe an update was done?
Was working great until this past week, now I can't upload any receipts. Any help? The support page was no help at all.
Love the idea and that it helps our schools But it Takes super long for downloads on receipts and there's no sharing options in the app itself
The only thing I have a question on is how can I get my receipts off my pictures file. I do note have a printer so I take copies of my receipts. Cheryl
Hate the 20 receipt limit on the the grocery part and all the sweepstakes entries. The 20 receipt limit should be raised. Once a week would be perfect for the entries. It's over kill with them and you dont get the points. I'd rather have the points than the gazillion sweepstakes entries. Update: Nov. 17- Still getting mostly sweepstakes entries, I wish you all could see my account! Only reason I do this is for my daughters school. So since I complained, they havent changed a thing. So just know this will happen to you! What a waste of time and app!!!!!!!
