I'm leaving a review here, because it seems they turned off reviews on their main page, likely due to numerous terrible reviews. This is by far the worst register system I have ever used, and I've used many. CONSTANT problems. Terrible and very expensive hardware that must be purchased from Shopkeep directly at a premium. Their so-called 24hr support is a complete waste of time and ALWAYS tries to point the finger at ones network, ones router, etc (even when the speed tests are within their requirements). We replaced our entire network in an effort to get the register system to work better, no change. They never recognize a problem with their own terrible system, and if they do, there's nothing they can do about it. Their customer support is an outsourced, and scripted, waste of time. I cannot say enough bad things about this ShopKeep The removal of reviews from their app page speaks volumes. BEWARE
I agreed with other users. This used to be a great app. But now a days it crushes all the time. Do the uninstall and reinstall the app. If it doesn't work, reset the tablet from scratch. (THAT IS WHAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD ME). I did it!!! And its not working. I have shopkeep in one store and clover in another. Clover app is working just fine. I am sick and tired of it...... I am using Samsung tab S7 +. Shopkeep please fix it or you will loose my business......
So been using this system for years. After a recent update the inventory update in back office dosnt work properly. I have contacted support many times for them to say "cannot get it to duplicate." Funny worked before.. They then try every excuse in the handbook of screen scripting there is. Sent a video in to show what happens. I used to say was the best app ever for small business. Now I would say avoid at all cost. Find a system that actually cares about its customers.
Totally a waste of time to call for help regarding the Clock Punch Error message. This was part of an update installed on 10/7, which is when the Clock Punch stopped working. They have no plans to fix it. Good Luck everyone fixing it yourself.
Square up is cheaper and with no contract. Don't waste your time. Already contacted customer support and they assured me I'm still stuck with a $89 dollar a month bill. Still cheaper with square with no contract.
Beware of this vendor. Do not do business with this company. I am currently working with my state atterney general to investigate them as they refused to cancel my service and have been charging me for a canceled service for over half a year. Update: If I could upload snapshots of me requesting cancellation I would, as I have previous communicated with their support email and they refused to cancel after my year contract.
DO NOT USE SHOPKEEP!!! When I had inventory issues they could not narrow down the days the actual issues started because they take their calls in the UK... and there are time zone issues with the software and their engineering team wouldn't be back until Monday... I still have to sell during the weekend so when the inventory becomes more off it is next to impossible to untangle by Monday... summary reports are different from my end of shift reports... every week it's something different
App has turned back on the ability to see sales data by ranges of dates for "Classic" level customers. It is once again a very useful tool for us non-profit small business owners. Thank you Shopkeep.
After receiving a iPad POS system package, worked over 3 business days to try and set up system. Multiple phone calls & emails to ShopKeep to receive uninformative text messages in return. Also, no refund for a system that was never on line and used due to conflicting licensing agreements from ShopKeep.
Used to work perfectly. Recently was not able to open the app. Uninstalled and tried reinstalling. Now it won't even install! Samsung Note 8.
Very little explanation of how to use shopkeep. We've had it for 8 years and we're still trying to figure out how to use this program properly by the way we have a retail clothing store named Noir leather in Royal Oak Michigan
Do not buy. Not user friendly at all. Set up is near impossible. Customer service is terrible. No refunds either. After the sale you sales person is gone. Im going a different route but im out $2000 here
Customer service was great at first, then rapidly declined. Set up is difficult. No refund policy. Wouldn't recommend.
It was working great but now I dont get any notifications & when I go to that tab it sends me to a blank screen & freezes up.
Tje app is not working properly. It does not always show me up to date info. Sometimes it says I've had no sales all day even though I have.
I can only see data half the time, other half of the time I open the app I get an ERROR! please fix!!
This app has been a life saver. Quickly and easily gives me key info when I need it to help me make decisions and manage my business.
Whatever you do stay the hell away from this company. I purchased a business that was already using shopkeep and the transition to new ownership has been the worst experience ever. They are literally costing me thousands of dollars a day and still haven't resolved the issue. They aren't available to do anything over the weekend and nobody knows what they are doing.
I am losing features the longer I use this app. Apparently if I don't upgrade I am punished and features are removed. Looking for another POS...
Latest update will not close when backing out of the app. Please fix.

I have only had frustrating experiences with this company since they were sold last year. When I call, takes over an hour to talk to them. And its 3rd party service now so they just leave feedback for the company and they don't really know the systems. I'm told to leave feedback on the backoffice for the co. to make changes. Feedback button doesn't even work for me. Agent, though nice, couldn't get it to work either.... Hardware and software are slow and outdated in my opinion. Going to square
