Shopping list - My List

Adding a product doesn't always work from the first time. When you choose a product from the list and tap on it, it doesn't appear on the basket view sometimes, and thus it can be easily missed. That's a basic feature that doesn't work right.

I have been looking for an up-to-date shopping list app -- after the previous one became clunky and somewhat unusable -- for a while. After trying a few others and this one, My List is at the top of the list (no pun intended) for me. Since I plan to change my phone sometime this year, I am really looking for apps that allow you to easily back up your data and My List’s Save / Restore data features lets you do this very well. I also like the fact that you can send a list via text message without having to create an account on some cloud server and log in. Unlike the previous app I used, I like how this one keeps the list displayed on screen while I am shopping. Given that I create to-do lists and similar (in addition to shopping lists), I like that this app allows you to add both a name and a description to your lists. Aesthetically speaking, I like the nice icons and the app themes. My only gripe about this app is that it shows this Purchased 0 of # (#) footer for each list. While this makes perfect sense for a shopping list, it does not for a to-do list. Thus, in this case, it should say Task 0 of # (#) Completed or similar; or simply, have an option in the Settings to turn this footer off altogether.

This is my the third shopping list app I tried and the best by far. Multiple display options in the master database list or the current trip list. Expandable and collapsible categories. No excessive scrolling to get to what you want. Just one data base adds items to any store list. The paid version was pricey but I can tell the programmers put a lot of thought into it. The icons are customizable. My search for a good shopping list app had ended.

Pretty much what I have been looking for in a Grocery shopping app. My goal was to find one that kept the items you choose for shopping categorized in your list. Others have categories but when placed in a shopping list they become unorganized. Would be nice if you could share your list with another shopper in the household, but .....

A very good app. 1. Very organized layout. 2. New items will automatically be added into the database. 3. Photos of items can be added. 4. Prices and quantity are placed perfectly. 5. It needs the default quantity to be set as 1. Imagine having 20 items on the list and I have to key-in number 1 x20.

Almost perfect. * New (custom) units should be automatically added to the main unit list.(drop down menu) * Unit list should be in alphabetical order. * And an option to backup (save data) with added photos would be nice.... Edit-v3.08: Photos are backed up too. Thanks :) .... I hope alphabetical sorting of Unit List + List of lists and also adding + deleting new (custom) units permanently, will be in the next version too. Really useful app.

I just want to scan everything in. There are hundreds of things in my list, and they are pretty specific; I have my preferred brands. If scanning not poss, I'm too tired

Very nice app, but...there are 2 main places for improvement: 1. Since categories may represent aisles, which have a specific order, it should be possible to set their order so that when adding items to the "my list", their order will remain (currently the newest item is presented first) 2. There should be a way to replace the built-in units and define your own I am currently using Mighty Grocery (excellent app but not supported or maintained any more) and looking for an alternative. With these 2 capabilities, I will choose this app. Regarding the developer reply: The current behavior is not the expected one. If you have categories 1 and 2 and you mark items for "My List" then you expect category 1 to be first and category 2 to be second - and not the last one at the top. The solution you mentioned does not solve it.

$15 to simply remove ads. Ad takes up about 1/5 of the screen at all times. To change themes you must watch ads. No simple dark mode, themes are backgrounds. Figured it would be nice to have an app specific to buying, but all of these apps are just building on top of "google list". Thanks for the mockery response. Ads pull data + battery/apu usage, distacts those w/ attention/constraint issues. Are your ads verified safe for epilepsy? Not with the ad on my screen flickering. Security risk.

Whenever I try to put the units or the price, the column scrolls upwards by itself. Kindly fix it ASAP please...

Hands down one of the best shopping list next to "Tasks". I am absolutely obsessed with it. I look forward to going grocery shopping now especially if I'm unsure of a product being able to attach the picture w it makes it that much more convenient. 👍🤙

After my favorite shopping list app was no longer available, I tried several before this one. This is the closest I could find. Easy to sort & create categories so they are in the order I shop. Let's you delete items you don't buy and add ones you do.

Great app. I like that I'm able to put my shopping into categories and the order that the categories go in. It's made shopping easier. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because there's a lot of products that aren't in the app library and you have to make the product/category.

Awesome app but a few suggestions; 1. OK order catagories, by press and drag, why not order items in catagory? Sorting items helps shopping in larger supermarkets and sorting tasks in catagories of to do lists. 2. Add new items by voice should make the 1st letter a capital. Useful to add icon/picture and catagory before adding to list instead of having to edit after. 3. Make purchased items in their catagories within the purchased catagory. Then possible tap purchased items to make new list.

For me, this is the best shopping list maker. In the play store. Once you get used to it, and I'm months in, and there's still more options and better things within the app to discover. Really good app, and I should know I've tried them nearly all. Give it a go. 😊

This is a great app, very easy to use. Thanks for fixing the list problem, but now when you want to add a new item, it just duplicates the add item bar & doesn't add the item properly, not sure what's happened there. Other wise a good app, thanks

Simple to use, customise categories, download pictures from the internet and have as many lists as you like . A few themes, but I bought the paid version for more themes and no ads. Very pleased so far.

At first glance I think this app is amazing! I needed a list with pictures so my son could help me shop. This is perfect! If it doesn't have the picture you can either upload one or pull one from the web! As of right now I love this app!

Have tried lots of shopping apps for Android, and this is by far one of the best I have tried. It is so flexible and easy to use, has most of the features I need. It is very colourful and lovely themes.

I always shop and I wanted an app that displayed the items with pictures. This app has a nice way of displaying items and very good way of adding items!

Why not just a dark theme? Too many ads. Trying to unlock theme you have to watch an ad that never loads. Why do you have to create an account? Its a shopping list. MANY common items are missing ans must be added?

I have been searching endlessly for an App like this. Thank God. Super easy to use. Allows you to actual shop by aisle/section versus running around the store because your list is alphabetized.

I actually love the app but I hate that you cannot add tax at all. Some items are taxed and some are not, this is a feature that really needs to be added. Due to this I will be uninstalling it, I would have given it a 5 star if it had the tax feature.

Only used it twice, but it seems to include most of every homes necessities. The blank space under each category gives ample space for ex tra items that only some people buy.

So easy to use and spoken word recognition of items verbally added to the list has been 100% so far. Much better than using a paper shopping list.

Another confusing mess. I expect to see my whole list after creating it but nope it only shows one item. Where's the rest of the stuff I added. No where to be seen no matter what I do. Garbage🚮

I like the multiple lists option, voice recognition search is rather bad, but whatever, I can type.
