I have used app 3 times so far. Twice it was a home run once a flop. When it works its awesome! My order was ready and perfect. It was a great time saver especially important during covid since I want to be in store as little time as possible. The flop was a first morning order which I think was overlooked. Overall it's easy to use and really great ***upgrade to 5 stars as I have used it more frequently and every time has been ready. Great app
App works ok. The deli does not. They have no problem labeling the items that are on sale, but do not label items that are not in stock, or just do not show them! They will accept orders for items they cannot supply and when you go to pick up your order, NOTHING!!!
Ok the app itself works great but it's worthless if the store is not working with it. Suggestion: Have the store communicate to you if they're not taking app orders, the app isn't working on their end etc. This way you can make other arrangements instead of showing up at the store and have to choose waiting in a slow line or leaving without the items you were trying to order ahead so you didn't have to wait in a long slow line. Maybe a chat with store feature? Love the idea, but...
Very disappointed in the latest update for this app. It's made it much less user-friendly. I use the app all the time because I'm an instacart Shopper and I like to order my deli stuff before I get to the store to save time. The descriptions don't even have the brand name. They just have a generic description and a picture so that makes it difficult to find say Boar's Head or black bear without clicking on every picture. An update should improve the app not make it much more difficult to use
Ordering is a great feature. I have used it for years. I gave it 4 stars because I have complained for the same years that the text messaging alerts do not work. I need to know when my order is complete but I guess that's too technical for anyone to address the problem.
Absolutely love being able to order online and not wait in deli line or in this case during the pandemic, not being able to order while in store. In my experience I have found the orders to be absolutely perfect! My oy complaint with using the ShopRite app in the store to load coupons is there is no working wifi in the store and cannot get a signal for any other 4g or 5g service either. The store really needs to work on this because phone calls and IMs don't even work while in the store.
The app works great, unfortunately the app goes hand in hand with the service it provides, meaning it depends entirely on how good your local ShopRite is. I've ordered through this app with no problems, only to have my order stolen at the store before getting there. Orders are left in a separate fridge for pickup but nothing tells other patrons to only take orders with THEIR name on it. When I told the store, no action was taken. Won't be using this service anymore.
It was easy to use, but can't delete item once placed, Only modify. Outside paper listed all four items and was wrapped in saran wrap. Didn't check it any further. Imagine my surprise when I got to the register and there was no roast beef! I went back to the deli, only to be told there was no more! And that they were closed, 9:10 pm. Told them the Front said open til 10. They said they stop slicing at 9 to clean machines. They should tell customer at pick up if item not available.
Tried deli order. Cant find a way to delete items. can only be modified. When order was complete, THEN it asks you to login. Try to login, email is with another account. Fill out all info. S/B linked to the regular Shoprite app, somehow. asks for price plus. dig it out of the wallet, scan it. Sorry the card number is not valid, has to start with a 4,11 digits, so I had to remove last number. Try to login to regular Shoprite, its somehow invalid. Id rather go to the deli, talk to a person
New app i have not been able to place one order. Went to store for assistance they said what they thought was wrong but still no order goes thru. Stops at times and keeps going back to time whether I choose time or they do. I used this 3 times a week or more. Now not using at all. Installed uninstalled, shut phone down, nothing makes it happen!
The app won't let you create an account, just says invalid information or "sorry there was an error." Website has an error 100% of the time when trying to register. And you can't place an order without registering. But neither the app nor ShopRite's website will let you register. See the problem here? They're broken all over the place!
Good app. There are several deli items where you can't choose deli cut thickness and either hve to write it in or not have an option at all. It should be fixed. Happened with 2 products out of 8.
App search function doesn't work well at all. Kept coming back that the item I was looking for was not found. However, if I used their preset categories, the item I tried to look for was, in fact, available. It was hard to tell what brand I was purchasing. Very poorly done. Why can't it function more like the SRFH app? Deleting app. Not worth the hassle.
App not working this morning. Trying to place my order at Flemington but it hangs up after you click to place an order. The Shop Rite from Home app is working so it's definitely an a problem with this app. This is frustrating. Last Sunday you had someone at the deli number machine encouraging people to use the app and now it isn't working.
Need a way to delete items in case of mistakes. Also, brands require one more step to find the brand you're looking for. Other than that, the convenience of ordering ahead is nice.
FIRST AND LAST TIME I USE THIS APP. I downloaded this app so I would have not wait in the store. placed an order and arrived 25 minutes later than it said it would be ready. was not in the cooler and when I asked I said it was not done. already did my shopping so I waited at the deli for it to be done. that took another 20 minutes. went back to exchange my ice cream which was at least partially melted by now. will uninstall the app. I get better service if I wait in line at the store.
Used to use this app every week but thanks to not getting things I ordered & them completely forgetting orders I never use it anymore. 4 times now it said order would be ready in 15 minutes & an hour later & they forgot our order. Some items aren't listed in the app that they do indeed have. ShopRite needs to update their system so when the deli dptmnt gets your order it doesn't disappear. They also need to add all deli items to the app & not leave certain items out.Sad, Used to love using this
Terrible when you order 1 item and it says it's ready for pickup so you drive all the way to the store and get to the refrigerator for there to be a sticker with your name on it saying out of stock... also the first time I used it, it messed up my membership card and told me I had lost all my points right before Xmas and I was told I needed to wait for a new card in the mail. I'll stick to shopping at Kings
App, which is normally decent, has returned (null) error when trying to login. Unable to login via the web either, so this is obviously not an issue with the app specifically
DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Routinely drops orders - it will text you that your order is ready, then when you show up the Deli never got the order. Or the Deli terminal will be down and the app won't tell you that, even though it confirms the order.
Not even able to register. Been trying for past 15mins and keep running into errors. Forget it. Without registration, app seems fine...but will I be able to place an order without creating an account?
Used to like the app but I can no longer sign in. I have tried several time to reset password and when I try to sign in I get null error. No place to ask for help on app
Unable to setup an account. First thing I did was setup a home store. I then entered all the required information then scanned my ShopRite card. After I entered all the information the system gave me an error stating that I did not choose a home store (which I clearly did) and that my ShopRite card number should start with a "4" which it did and had to be 11 digits (hello ...I scanned it in)
Missing half of what's available. Many items shown aren't actually available. Pictures are of the wrong products. The "allow substitutions" setting is generally ignored by the deli when preparing the order.
Maybe it is just the Woodbridge store, maybe it's the app, but only once out of the 5 times I used this was my order fulfilled. Getting to the store and realizing this means I haven't saved any time but actually wasted more than if I skipped using the app.
Only used it once so far, but it was seamless. Easy to order and received notification that my order was ready before the estimate. Both SR apps are fantastic, and seem to keep improving.
Wow. If I could give this 0 stars I would. This is probably the worst app I've ever seen. No sales, no separation by brand, they have a section called "deli loaves" but none for turkey???, and not even half their products are listed. You should feel absolutely ashamed for having such an embarrassingly garbage app.
Push notifications appear, but when you click on them for more information, it just takes you to the app home screen with no further info. Also, it would be helpful to be able to communicate with the local store that is fulfilling your order for replacement items etc. I request thick slicing, but half the time it is shaved thin. I have had at least a handful of experiences where the deli never received my order even after I received the confirmation from the app that they did.
