Great piece of gadget. Captures distances. Some shots pitches are missed but you can always tab the club to make it register. The app is easy to use and edit afterwards.
Cannot fault the quick response of the team at Shot Scope. Nothing is a problem to support as a novice golfer this is invaluable. My V2 (Gift) keeps me right on courses I've never been to this is the perfect golf accessory. I'll maybe update to V3 when I get more experience.
Good when it works, does get quite laggy and currently the course hub section doesn't work and just in a constant load
Great bit of kit, keeps a record of all my shots including Club used and average yardage how far I'm off line with % for left, middle, right with the same for greens hit with % for either short, target, long, so in effect giving me info on what to practice on. The only downside is the club tabs are quite dear, they come with spares but the putter, the "P" can only be used on the putter and there's no spare, so £20 for spares if you lose it. Been using now for 7 months a need to sort gapping
Shocking app, h4 can't connect 95% of the time. Impossible to sync rounds. Useless and whole reason for purchasing!
Used it yesterday and it didn't record the back 9, and when I tried to edit the round it wouldn't open, so I deleted the front 9.
It's garbage. I've had this thing since it came out and it's never worked right. I haven't been able to upload a single round. Get Arcco s.
This app is FREE which to start is great! It's very user friendly. It connects to the watch very easy. All in all I think this is great technology going forward and looking forward to seeing more.

Let me be clear: the Shot Scope V3 watch is an excellent piece of tech that works seamlessly to provide accurate data and help me improve my game. This Android app is...none of those things. It gets credit for the basic function of being a bridge to sync your watch to your Shot Scope account, but very much feels like it was farmed out as a side project. It works, but it could be so much better, as there were many questionable or lazy choices made with the UI: *The icon for the side menu only appears on the Rounds screen. If you navigate to any other screen (Performance, Courses, etc), the icon disappears entirely and the only way to access the menu again is use your phone's back functionality to get back the Rounds screen. *The Round Overview screen uses the a giant orange pencil icon for a round that needs to be reviewed. It looks like a big button to take the user to the next step, but tapping it does nothing. A smaller version of the same icon is found in the top right of the screen. Not very intuitive. *When reviewing or editing a hole, there are two icons in the top right: one to take you to a zoomed greens view to review putting, and one to save and exit the round. However, when you click the first icon to view the green, the icons switch: the save and exit moves left to take the place of the greens icon, and a small 'x' takes its place on the right. Why not have the icons to enter and exit the greens view in the same place as most users would expect? *When adjusting the position of a shot, the target reticule snaps directly under the user's thumb or finger, meaning you cannot see where you are about to reposition the shot. The reticule should float above the user's finger for better visibility. *An undo/redo function would be greatly appreciated to fix accidental edits (this would be awesome on the web app as well). Ultimately, the app's primary purpose is the sync data off your Shot Scope watch, and it does that well enough. All the other features seem to be added half-heartedly in order to tick boxes. Using the web app is a far better experience.
No stars at the moment for the software for this device ( I actually had to put 1 star on the review to allow it to be posted! !) It is easily one of the most difficult to install successfully I have ever come across! It doesn't look like it is just me as others have also experienced difficulties Support is also extremely disappointing ! I am still persevering at the moment but if I don't succeed soon, the device will be heading back to the shop! Beware! All that glitters......!😡
The watch, GPS, and maps are fine but the post game editing of the game is very difficult on an advanced Android smartphone. for example, to edit at all, i had to delete every shot at the hole and add each one back in manually. Even then, i couldn't position the tee shot where it landed ?! So, editing just one hole took 1 1/2 hours before i gave up ! Here's my latest feedback on editing for other users, start editing putts and work back from there.
This a valuable device, app and website. Golf GPS and Performance Data (stats) The best part is that it doesn't get in the way so can just play golf. The only feature you trigger on each hole is collect pin. In other words end of hole. I push the button before I pick my ball up. After you finish you press end round. GPS on the watch, Performance data on your phone and online. Uses tabs on each club that communicate with the watch. Highly Recommended. Look for YouTube videos for more info.
This is an update to a review I wrote earlier. The V3 watch itself is a piece of cake to use on the golf course. I ran into issues when I was trying to download the data into my app. It took me about 90 minutes culling through the website faq's page until I found the necessary info to make the download. Once I was able to find that info everything worked quickly. The data collection is very good and any edits you need to make are very easy to do. I would recommend this to any serious golfer
I have used the v2 for a few years trouble free then upgraded to the v3. Unfortunately I can't say the same thing for it. I cant get it to link to my phone on a regulator basis the Bluetooth connection is hit and miss (like my golf game). Have uninstalled the software several times and have tried the things customer services have advised buy its still the same. I have never managed to get it to update the firmware due to this poor connection issue. Unfortunately there is no way to connect the watch hardwired to download firmware.
