Useless. A thin wrapper around the Shoutcast website which, on my device, completely fails to play any station.
Does not work. Does not Shout, does not even whisper. Does nothing. Astonishing how some have given this 5 stars. I would give it 0 if that was possible.
Can't manually tune into stations with their web address, a very basic feature that is not there.
Pleace ad stream windows indicator, and bitrate info at search result
The UI is just their website. It's no different vs opening in your browser. But it works, and that's all I really care about.
Streams all work that I'm interested in and app at under 1mb and yes your reading it right is a miracle these days. Download this app as you won't be disappointed.
Shoutcast is my primary portal to the world's on line radio. Love its station selection which mostly has few commercials. BUT....the latest shell (with Android use) poorly responds to pressing "play".
I've always loved shoutcast,and it's where I go to most of the time....I check every streaming stations as often as possible and I can sometimes not get sound from some stations but it sorts itself eventually
Cannot play streams, download trays not visible for the stations, no sound! Does not work on LG V20
what a sad state you devs are in. the last time this app was updated was march of 2016, and yet you STILL get complaints about connection and playback issues. yet you STILL say it's US (the users) fault. I say having a pitiful 2.9 overall rating speaks for it's self along with the 76 ONE STAR reviews.
Basically a copy of the shoutcast website but without info like bitrate etc. Needs info and favorites option. At least it has the entire shoutcast directory! Unlike xiialive pro.. Does need better buffering on some streams. That could be the stream though.
Pointless... Just the shoutcast Web page that any simple browser can load.
For me this works great. I have always enjoyed shoutcast radio on my Roku. But never thought to look here. Glad I did. Pandora gone iheart gone tunein radio gone. Only one I need is shoutcast. Tons of stations
I have a very fast Internet connection and no channels work as it gives an error .I tried waiting a full 2 minutes but still nothing.
the search doesn't work. the search is 95% importance for all the users understand? this is one of the most important apps in play store, seriously, the developers need to fix this.

Searches data base fine, but that's it. cannot sort by bit-rate (which is very important to many), but it plays nothing, just gives you an error. I noticed it had an update a month ago. I wonder what version of android? 1.0?
Ive been running this on my sony psp for a number of years I always liked the big selection of stations on offer the phone version is OK but I guess ive been used to the psp version for so long, still a good app non the less but I think ill probably still crib my phones internet connection and continue to run from my psp as the layout is much better and I can get to the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s sections with just a tap rather than search through menus for the same thing.
Needs update so it could play smoothly and needs a notification bar so it can run on background without stopping itself instead pressing the homescreen button.
App does not work with android google phones

This is minimalistic app. No ads or crap. Does exactly what radio should do
When tap "play" on station - no music. Tried different stations. They work on the Web, but not in this app.
Of course, it's the best! They practically invented Radio Streaming using a simplistic and futuristic approach that still works. Allowing anybody with little knowledge and patience to create their own radio station. If it doesn't work for you. It's definitely not Shoutcast, but some Outcast renegade like me, that has not configured their device correctly to run with this App.
