This app seems to deliver some channels more reliably than others I have tried. One thing I would add though is the ability to autostart playback once another app is done with taking over the audio, such as an alarm or phone call. Also, genre streams are listed in a random order and there's no way to list them in a meaningful way (alpha etc), which makes finding streams difficult.
great app, i love it but its too hard to navigate when everything could be in searchable lists and tags. it has its bugs when playing certain stations, too. the app has been recently updated so the previous bugs may be fixed. give us more lists! its too hard to view the last genres (huge scroll)!
Tried multiple ways to get the app to recognize my subscription including unsubscribing and resubscribing and it still shows ads. Sorry but if you are going to introduce a pay to support and remove ad feature it should work and not have as many issues as everyone else has had the same. Would love to rate higher but this is a major flaw.
Just paid for no ads. But theres ads still on the app. Please fix this! UPDATE: After a few attempts to get rid of the ads by logging out and back in... It finally got rid of the ads! It took a lil bit to update in app my purchase. I also went completely out of the app before i noticed the change.
it is strange how well it works, especially when it starts playing a stream all on its own. I have been using SHOUTcast since the late 90's. This app seems to fit the current niche.
I paid for the upgrade to remove ads and get the the additional features. I now have ads again and all of the favorite stations that I selected are missing. Could it be because of the recent update? I had no problems until then.
Seams to never perform properly but was corrected in early 2021 and ok for months but now will not respond tochannel selection moto phone and on Samsung tab where it states that it is not optimized . Is this an Android app or what!?
I couldn't figure out to enter a url for the known station I want to listen to. I know the address and port number.... I wish the old WinAmp player was still around. Uninstalled. Developer asked for the url information. Its an ice cast stream on internal network 172.24.7.44:8020. You really need a way to allow the url to be input directly as something may change and the address needs to be edited.
Recently paid premium for good stations .After a few weeks taking off 2 star for bugs ( some stations jump into others and sometimes one station keeps playing over others ) Major bugs that need fixing! Also strange no recent reviews.?? You listening DEV'S ......?
Managed to find the niche station I was after, but it seems VERY heavy on the data downloaded. Quite suspicious it may be up to more than just playing a music stream...
I have always loved SHOUTcast, ever since Winamp. For the phone app, I wish it supported casting to other devices.
Does this app carry any regular radio stations? I tried about 10 different stations I listen to and NONE of them came up in this app. Goodbye...
Great, just hope you change the icon, looks outdated, and doesn't fit in among my other icons. Little too much basic retro design.
Nice app. Just 1 thing. Favourites are not saved to my account, so what is the use of the account? If I add a favorite on my phone I would like it sync to the app on my tablet next time I open it.
Not everything plays. But very convenient and supports background playback. Overall, a decent app.
Bloody excellent! Only just installed this app but so far I like it! It's great! My only moan is, I wish I could see the bit rate of a channel before I open it, like I can in the website. Any chance?
Love it! Music from ALL recorded history 1920 on, and "language" songs and instrumentals.
Sorry ...tried it on two different Android devices simply would not work ...but now. Tried new 3.2.0 version updated in January 2021 working okay now changing my review to good
From the Winamp days of long ago til now.. Shoutcast radio is still the best in my book.
Cannot get sound from any BBC stations and cannot find Scala Radio (UK Classical station). Deleted!
It's ok. Would like to change Favourites format as in Windows explorer ie smaller thumbs.

It's not bad, but I wish it would let you set a default station.
This looks nice, great for for worldwide news, music, podcasts. It is snappy, too, doesn't get stuck buffering every time you switch a station. The creator responded quickly when I thought I had an issue. This is already becoming my favorite go-to app for these reasons. All free, too. I paid the $3 per year to go ad-free, nice to have that option.
