Show My Homework

This app is really buggy, and annoying: the home screen widget is half broken, spammed with useless notifications about the teachers changing the task description, but you can't turn this off without disabling the useful comment notifications. There is a mismatch of features between the Web and mobile version: Web has a calendar, and mobile has notices, both of which show completely different stuff.

I have to use this app for school, which was fine- until the new update. Now there's no option to make completed work disappear, which means it's harder to tell what work I've done and what work I haven't, and it stresses me out. Basically I'll have to avoid using it and go from memory as much as possible. Fancy graphics was not a fair exchange for my sanity. I'm sad because it seems I will never again have that glorious feeling of ticking off my last piece of work and having an empty todo list

Used to work well, can no longer set tasks or edit them. Have to use desktop. Freezes phone and have to force close app. Shame as I did find it very useful. Oct 19: Still very glitchy May 2022 - continues to glitch. Have had to uninstall. Could potentially be very useful. Emailing help isn't helpful.

This has to be one of the worst apps I have ever used. The app constantly crashes which means you have to click force stop app in settings. The animations in the app are to slow - 3 seconds to change menu. The notifications when clicked don't do anything.

This app is a bit of a buggy mess, constantly not showing tasks etc, but the new update has, in addition to the bugs, made it look awful as well. They've also taken away the option to hide ticked off tasks, which was one of the most useful features.

This app used to work well and it was easy for my son to upload homework completeted, but after the recent update we can no longer take photos and sometimes it won't upload previously taken images. The submit button works intermittently. Please can this be fixed.

School switched from a good app to this. Can't open any attachments (been going on for months) they want you to pay to be able to tick of your own child's work. Just not as good an experience.

The vast majority of the options I see in this app are trying to get me to spend money with Satchel One. On the homework screen 4 of the 5 buttons want me to spend money. Give me an option to remove them. Does the school get a kick back from sales? The UX design poor. It's obviously not been worked on by someone who uses this for more than one child. It's not obvious how to swap between them. The obvious options like swiping, or tapping their pictures do not work.

UPDATE: I complained about this issue on their support system and today a new update was issued that put the feature back into the App. Very responsive support and engineering indeed. Previously: Why fix what wasn't broken? One of the most useful features for parents was the ability to see a list of tasks that are not complete ONLY. Now I have to scroll through all completed, but still "due" (ticked) tasks to see the ones outstanding...

My satchel one today hasn't been working at all. When I go to try check my homework, it keeps on saying that the app had stopped and is constantly not working. Now the only way for me to try and see my homework is by going onto the internet app and then doing it that's way. Unfortunately this takes a really long time and I do not like the setup on there so this is making it really hard for me to do my homework. I hope this bug is fixed as soon as possible.

This app isn't very good since by every update it gets worse and worse. Now you are unable to see homework more than 2 weeks in advance and updates on the app are at the most inconvenient times. Sometimes from 11 to 2 in the afternoon. Why can't they do it at night?

This new update is horrible. I have to tap an extra tap to get into homework and there is no switch at the top to toggle completed. It is fine. Just default it straight to the homework section and bring back the switch. People reading this who is not the devs, use Apkpure to download version 8 and delete your app then reinstall and relogin and disable auto update in play store top right on app 3 dots

Rubbish! It was fine before the recent update but now I have to go through a bunch of settings to actually see my homework (aka the point of the app) and there is no longer a switch to toggle off my ticked homework. This is only an issue for me on my android phone, fix it please, this app is a mess.

I believe Satchel One is an incredible use of the internet for schools to directly contact their students with work to be completed as homework for future lessons the incorporation of the internet allows people of the new generation to feel more comfortable as it is on what they use frequently. It is easy to use and log into and has easy access at all timeHowever the side affect of the app is it may be useless as some students do not care about homework meaning they will never use this app.

Before Satchel one was a dream where I could easily see all my homeworks, either with the calendar by date or by searching specific subjects in the search bar. I could access what I needed and could go through comments and the homework related to it. Now the recent update has utterly denatured satchel one. I know that the developers are explored new means by making Satchel one not just homework but having everything together made it more accessible to majority users. Fix it please no words left

Please put back the tick option to hide completed tasks. It was so much easier when this was possible because I could see just what was left to do. Now it's just all on the same list and is much much harder to use. I still like the app in general, but before this update the app would have got 5 stars.

It always says satchel one has unfortunately stoped this needs to be fixed cause not only that but I may have to sit in one hour detentions because of this I am not sure how to fix and update the bug setting this is very disappointing. And although the app does not work well one some of Mh devices but it works well on others So only 3 stars from me.

For some reason when i open and log into my school account it immediately closes after i open it and i have zero clue of why and its really annoying as i have homework set but can't complete as i don't know what to do. And satchel one isn't working its really buggy on its own but i don't get why its closing itself i've tried uninstalling then reinstalling and nothing worked

Love the update! I have had to pretend I want to upgrade by pressing the + every time I wanted to switch between children. Now it has a handy button to switch directly. That was driving me nuts through lockdown before I worked out the fudge!

I think the app is pretty basic and easy to use. However, over the years and after each update the app has become worse and worse. On my phone there is no way to send picture of my homework to teachers and I cant see homework that due in a month or longer.

Was working okay until recently. Notifications will no longer open the app to see whatever the notification was for and then today the app only opens momentarily before crashing. Samsung S20, android 12, One UI 4.1

(Update 24/9/19. Still pretty useless in app form and on mobile devices. They need to sort this out considering how much schools pay!) When it works it is a very useful tool. Unfortunately it too often stops working and doesn't allow for creation of new tasks. It's possible it works with iOS but doesn't with the latest Android system.

Keeps kicking me out of my account and is very laggy at odd times of the day. Keeps saying that I have done the work when I haven't and the teachers dont check the messages. Also some links dont work for certain devices which makes it hard for me to do the work when I cant see them. The tests are very laggy and loud when you have got a question right. The app gets updated way to often and at times of the day when I'm doing my work.

This app is useful yet annoying. I'm using the lastest update version on the Samsung galaxy S9. The problem is, I turn off WiFi when I go to bed but when I turn it back on there's no notification that there is set work. Then, after a few hours, nearly nighttime, I get notifications of the work set the day after. Another problem is that if a teacher comments on my work, I see the notification but when I check comments or the discussion area there's nothing so I gotta turn on my computer. Hassle.

I am absolutely done with this app. Anytime I take an online test, the app freezes and I have to restart it. I physically cannot answer any of the questions and it gives me a low score for classwork. It takes so much storage and crashes too frequently to even be worth my time. Uploading homework becomes impossible due to the constant loading - and despite all the updates, it only seems to get worse. I wouldnt recommend this to anybody. Absolute waste of time.

I've never had a problem with the app before, but recently I've had trouble opening up files my teachers have sent me. It works fine on the actual website but since my laptop is quite slow it's more convenient for me to use the app on my phone. It would be nice to be have the option of editing the picture before uploading it by the way. Also whenever I try to submit work by sending a picture on my phone, the app just crashes as it does whenever I try to open up a file. It's extremely annoying.

Used to work, but now we can't open any attachments, rendering this app completely useless. It displays a message about: appropriate app not installed on this device. I have many apps that have no problem opening Word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and Powerpoint presentations, so I know I have the correct apps installed!! We can't open the attachments and therefore have no idea what the homework being set is.
