Great app. Sometimes you need to know who is calling especially when the nae is not stored in the phone. It helps you to determine whether the timing is okay to pick immediately or return the call later.
This app for whatever reason, is failing to show any information on any caller that isn't already saved in my contacts list already. It most definitely is not doing what it's supposed to...
This app works perfectly with the call screening on Pixel phones. Just leave Google Phone as your default phone app, and both will work well. There are some other similar apps that work, but they constantly ask you to change settings that will cause you to lose call screening.
This is very good and effective, but there is still room for improvement. I like it because it shows the names of those not in my contact.

I had this app installed and relied on it for months i think. Not because it was able to do its job well, but also because it had a record feature. At least it did had one until an update came up and I guess it was removed for being useless or something. I honestly loved that record feature because not only did it consider to be useful tool in conversation with some random stranger, but also help me replay the records if I forget something important. Overall this app is still going strong as usual, but without the record feature, I may have to find another app that can do that as well as block calls and identify id callers. Anyway, thanks for making this app! I hope everyone else would be interest to try this as well.
Would give it 5 stars except it causes me to drop my current call when a blocked number tries to call in. Normally not a huge problem unless I've been on hold a long time and finally just got through to a live person. Update: it's been 2 weeks and I run a business off this phone. I can't wait for a fix to this problem of dropping the call I'm already on when a blocked number tries to call. So I am deleting the ap and will have to find a different one.
App is a good idea, but there are issues. It disconnects my bluetooth for some reason. And then it doesnt always block the calls that ive placed on my block list. Ive also have other calls disconnected when an incoming call comes in, even if i decline the incoming call. Have had that happen multiple times now. And ive just had calls simply disconnected, as well as calls not connecting when trying to dial out, or taking 30+ secs to dial out. Think im going to uninstall this app. I tried it.
No good. As soon as I installed Showcaller, my Contact List which is comprehensive, switched in alphabetical order from surname to the first name, making the contact list useless. I was able to find no way to restore the contact list back in alphabetical order by surname. Furthermore, it wanted me to turn off my battery saving software. My phone is indispensable to me and has to be fully useful, something that Showcaller apparently does not understand.
I had the old version of this app ,that didn't show who is call from , only showing an area , then I updated to the new version, the version loaded long still loading now , started at 08:00 to load ,now it's 08:39 .
Updating my previous review where all the calls coming in we're going into voice mailbox! Found out that the app was causing conflicts with the Google caller ID that was already established with my cellular phone! But the show caller app also causing conflicts on any calls that were previously blocked by the service it would automatically dropped any call that I was on. The record feature which is a useful part of the app is no longer available , improvements needed before get 4 or 5 stars!
From true caller I shifted to SHOWCALLER. YOU ARE EXCELLENT. THE ONLY DEFICIENCY IS, IF A CALL US RECEIVED FROM PERSONS OUTSIDE MY PHONE BOOK, YOU ARE UNABLE TO SHOW THEIR NAME. PLEASE SHOW THEIR NAME ALSO.
I rate this App a 5 star. Yes, it has adverts, expectedly, but it doesn't bug you with distractions. Keep up the good work
Installed yesterday morning. I immediately noticed anomalies in my device, such as unexplained screen dimming and EXCESSIVE battery consumption. Had to charge my Note 8 four times! I disabled the app last night to see if that was actually the cause. Almost immediately I began getting pop-up ads in other applications like gmail, Twitter, etc. I'm uninstalling this morning, then running bitdefender to make sure my phone is clean. As good as the concept is, I'd recommend you stay away from this app
A nice UI, that reminds me of Truecaller. Anyways, I have just installed this app as I am on lookout to get rid off Truecaller. First thing first, can you add an option to select multiple items wherever we need to select things for example when a list of contacts in black list. It would be great to select multiple contacts to add all at once . This will help us in getting the long list of Spammers into the app database. Also, can you add an option to e,port & import a CSV to black list.
Application automatically closed (can't stay open) after I upgraded to Android 12
No benefit anymore! It provides the phone number (but no name) of the caller. Wow! Just like everybody else. I cannot stop the annoying useless popups at the beginning and end of every call that only provide redundant data. This program has recently begun misidentifying unknown numbers as known numbers. The program needs a serious overhual or just let it swirl the drain.
This is a great app. It helps you to answer the important phone calls only and just ignore the calls that waste time . I love it
Everything is good, bt while incoming call, it was not showing that who is calling....
In the area of showing a caller name is 100% perfect. The app does not use big mb , in that not much space occupied by the app in any phone. It doesn't hang like other caller app. The developers of this app, let me point out things that are needed so as to take it to the other level: - the changing of fonts -options of black theme -out going call theme -out / incoming call photo, option of full or small size. You developers of this app, i commend you all for the great job .
Horrible contact listing especially if one of your contact has 2 numbers you can't access the second # without going to contacts which is ridiculous in 2022. Also contact list to find them doesn't work & can't type in the name to find contact. Also better job at identify spam to block. Fix that & it works ill give 5 stars.
