The app generally works well. I do have some issues with the way that it lists movie times as they're not always in chronological order so you have to search through the available time is to find the one you're looking for. In the years I've been using it. There have been a couple of times where the app was unavailable but the folks at showcase have been very good about it and allowed me entrance to movies even when the app is glitching and down.

It's great for the most part although very limited. You can't buy a ticket for a friend that wants to go with you, you'll have to book through the Showcase website or a different app and you can't even just use it to check movie times because movies that aren't eligible like Mx4d don't even show up on the app.. Sometimes the app runs very poorly and takes forever to open. Tonight on January 2nd the app is down completely, it won't open at all! I hope they get this resolved soon.

I love the program, but this app needs a SERIOUS fix. Doesn't let you check in, doesn't let you see available movie times, doesn't let you cancel reservations... nothing. What am I paying for if it never works? Customer service took 3 days to respond to 2 methods of contacting. It would be great if making/changing reservations was available through the website since the app never works, but we can only hope that will happen. Until then, my subscription is canceled.

Can't cancel from the app, but pretends you can. Bills and resets several days before the end of the month, without warning. This leads to paying already for the next month even when you go to cancel at the end of the current month. Basically, way too many underhanded methods to get you to pay even if you don't or can't go see any movies.

Great app, if you have a showcase theater nearby that is not a Super Lux. Will not work for special screenings. Only other issue, if you browse by theater, then select a theater and decide to go back, it will take you to the home page instead of the nearby theater page. Overall, extremely happy with the app, highly recommended.

While the app itself usually works, customer support is nonexistent and abyssmal. I've tried contacting support through the app at least 3 times and have never heard back. Period billing start/end dates dont always correspond to the first and last days of the month so if you're not on top of checking, you may miss out on your tickets. All in all I am just disappointed in the lack of customer service and support, which is somehow unbelievably worse than sinemia and moviepass.

2021 UPDATE: For 1 year I swtiched to Regal Unlimited. I'm back now that they offere 5! Well what do you know? A theater chain I ACTUALLY LIKE decided to do the 3 film a month plan without the hassle. I cancelled Sinemia after just 2 months because all the hidden fees and Impossible to use app. AMC still has the best plan at 3 films A WEEK but...there's only one and it's a while a way...AND I CAN'T GO MORE THAN 10 MINUTES WITHOUT RUNNING INTO A SHOWCASE so honesty this makes the most sense.

Can't update activation date. Got an email to go in and update my activation date. Tried to change the date to October 1and couldn't get any further. It let me choose the date, but then there's no way to confirm it. No option to go back either. I had to force close the app.

When making a reservation on the app, it prompts you to renew your subscription in advance if you wish to buy an advance ticket past your renewal date. Upon doing so, it counts for your 3 ticket count for that month. The ticket count then resets back to 0 for the new month and your reserved ticket still remains in your reservations. However, once you "check in" it counts the movie against your 3 ticket count again for that new month! It is counting advance movie tickets twice! Scamming us!

In general it's a solid plan. I had a few issues at first where tickets wouldn't scan but that appears to be fixed. My only real issue is that other theaters like AMC offer more movies for the same price. Oh well you can't win them all.

This app drives me insane. I wanted to see a movie tonight but it's saying I need to install the newest version in order to reserve tickets. Except for the fact I've installed the app 30 seconds ago and have the most up to date version.

This is a good app. Needs one thing : an email confirmation of purchase. I have had the experience of not being able to get on line at the theatre. I had no proof of my purchase and the customer service was unable to confirm it. If I had an email, this frustrating situation would be avoided.

I love showcase subscribe. I have the 5 movies a month plan for 32.95 a month and have used mostly for xplus showings and it pays for itself and I get reward dollars every month on the monthly subscription so well worth the money in my opinion.

I had a better plan with regal because they let you go as many times as you wanted in the course of a month. The plan was a little more expensive which was fine with me, but the cinema was further away. Why can't showcase give a better option for a little more money? Put butt's in the seats and sell more concessions!

Showcase Subscribe is flawed and frustrating at best. the app often fails, necessitating a visit to Customer Service desk at the theater. Going to the movies became a dreaded experience. Getting rid of the app is like hehmoroid relief

App fails it's primary purpose- i was able to sign up for the service, pay for it, and reserve a ticket, but when i arrived at the theater i could not "check in" to activate the ticket because the gps location check didn't think i was close enough to the theatre. (i was in the lobby). Theater staff and mgmt were not able to help with this issue and i never received my ticket. sPhone: moto G7 Android v. 9

app is buggy since last update...cannot view history or view reservation. Also no access to reservation from website? Thats just not good business if app fails. UPDATE: 02/21/19 - Much better since latest update...everything seems to be working and it feels smoother and faster.

Incredible opportunity to watch the movies on any screen (Imax, or regular), on any format (3D or 2D) and on any Showcase theater you prefer. my only small criticism is why hide the option to cancel your reservation.... shouldn't that be in the open instead of having the consumer guessing on how to access that option?

I had an awful experience today trying to use the app for the 1st time, after arrival at the theater, the app froze, and is still frozen !and I ended up having to pay out of my pocket to buy a ticket!!HELP!

Only suggestion is adding seat assignment, when reserved, to the screen with the QR code for reference? Useful for when someone is sitting in your seat and you don't neccesarily have a ticket to show them. Otherwise, haven't had any issues, works as expected.

The company behind this application is a fraud. They will change rules at will. Add additional fees that you cannot avoid. There no help section in application. Take a look at rewires for the Sinemia application from the same fraud company. They trying to sell you the same subscription model.

It's great to pick your seats ahead of time to just check in quickly to have all the benefits of movies I want to go to but I never just set the money aside now I don't worry about that part my daughter is loving it

the app is good and convenient but movies are starting to officially release on Thursdays at 7pm the app doesn't allow you to check in for a newly released movie until Friday
