Ive tried to cancel my account {under a different email} and yet I was AGAIN charged $29🤔. PLUS, for over a year I paid every month w/out trying to cancel & it's extremely messed up that the 10 downloads don't rollover!! So basically I'd forgotten about the subscription and was charged 12+ 📅months & I've nothing to show for it?!💸 It's not like it's only a few $/ month, it's $29! That's 💰$348/ year & I didn't download 1 photo that year. DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAX 😔

Charging $100+ to cancel when I only used it to download 4 images from the free trail, then forced into paying the rest of a year. I only found out it didn't cancel after checking my bank account this week and seeing a $30 charge from them. Unless you are going to be using them consistently I do not recommend signing up at all. Now I have a fee that I can't afford having very little work during Covid.

Out of over 20 photos submitted, their excuse to not post was the same. Grainy, background noise, etc. The pixtures were so clear, they looked professional. Upon leaening that they only accept your photo if you pay for their membership, im about done with this app. They never even mentioned before your photos count only if you pay. What a rip off. Would not recommend.

Submitted 20 photos only 4 got approved. 1 of the photos got denied for logos etc, it was a photo of an empty beach, water, and sky. Fix your algorithm. Noise/film grain i kind of get that because a lot were shot on 35mm film and scanned. But there are some tack sharp images that have this denial.

Signed up for a free trial , which apparently signed me into a yearly contract, which I can't get out of without paying to get out of . Have emailed them and still every month they still keep taking my money. Would not recommend in the slightest

Shutterstock have high quality images. Also the suggestions for similar images are very helpful. One suggestion...when clicking on enlarging the photos their should be option to allow to view next image. Each time the tab needs to be closed and we have to click on another photo then again enlarge it..

Biggest pain. Upload a bunch of images and only one gets approved. Lame reasons like out of focus or noise when using features like selective focus to blur the background. Don't even bother wasting any of your time

Update: it is now May and they are still trying to take money from my account. They have no integrity at all. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I canceled my subscription but they still keep charging my account. They make it VERY difficult to cancel which i feel is a sneaky business practice. I even emailed with them which they claimed that my subscription was canceled but they still tried to charge me yesterday.

Im a landscape photographer..... Every photo entered to this site gets rejected.... Because " subject not in frame" thought this was a market place for photography .... Turns out .... It's just a app where advertisers buy photos of their product 🙄 boring. If you're only interested in taking pics of candy bars and laundry soap all day this would be the perfect app for you.

Shutter stock is the worst. I did a trial and was unaware of the automatic renewal that the company does for 29.99 a month. On top of that if you want to cancel they charge you 140$. Ridiculous. Also if I'm not downloading or using any of your services you should give folks back their money. Stay far aware from these folks they are just out to steal your money

Do not use free trial with subscription. If for some reason you do not immediately cancel the annual subscription it is very expensive to get out of. Horrible experience, and I would not recommend this app. The staff at customer services were great though.

Took my money, license doesn't work. Utter scam. Single licenses are"exclusive" to app. However, upon payment, the license doesn't work. Contacted 'Shuttercocks' who told me to contact Google instead? Google doesnt have anything to do with your failed licensing. Sticking to Getty Images.

I don't recommend Shutterstock anymore therefore we don't recommend you getting their app. The agency now takes a ton of rubbish and low quality content whilst in the past only used to take great imagery. Regarding the app the image loading is clunky and the mobile version of their website works better. I have been a buyer in the past but now buy elsewhere now.

CANCELED TRIAL AND WAS STILL CHARGED! NOW NO ACCESS TO ACCOUNT! AVOID. Tried to Used a trial and canceled right away. A month later was charged $30. Tried to sign in to account and it will not let me. Tried to change password but no email sent. Tried to contact but no email or chat answered. No way to get into account many stories of people being charged after canceling AVOID AVOID AVOID!

It would be nice to exclude some things from my searches such as children from princess photos. Dont see that option. I found where I can choose non editorial and photos only. And what about adding it to my favorites folder so I can decide if I want it when I get home.

It is fast .Help us To be creative. Good guidance through mail.Nice mobile app. Transparent. One can fetch good amount if having skill of photography or one can encase his/ her hobby or freemoments with still photography or memorable videos. It helps to explore newer in nature. Shot ;save .. upload , encase.

It used to be fine, but not anymore! They take any crappy photo, even photos taken with a smartphone. The whole industry is just decreasing in quality. I don't recommend this app, or their services either.

Practically a scam. No option to cancel on their website (always a bad sign). Costs per month of $49 for 10 images (thry don't accumulate) is ludicrous when you can watch TV for weeks on end on Netflix for less than $20 a month. Just don't sign up.

I Get told there's 500 pages of images, but each page is identical. Really expensive. Terms of usage are confusing, unless you upgrade to "team". And on top of that about half the images I'm interested in are "no longer available " why? Did you sell out?

[For Info on Unsubscribing & termination fee]] The base image building tool through shutterstock is not so easy but it does allow you to layer, angle, edit, save data, and collect images for whatever your needs. Unsubscribing: If going beyond trial & want to cancel before full year (1-6 mnth) then DELETE CCinfo before contacting customer service. Contact cuatomer service through email first (dont reply) then contact through local # and ask them too waIve termination fee if they dont initiate it

The amount and variety of images is quite impressive. I do art. So when searching for just the right image, i open shutterstock immediately and am never failed by the results i view from my search query!

Nice app, but not convenient to use. Users must touching manifying glass at the bottom to seach something then move finger to the top of screen to enter keywords. This app should always show search bar on top or somewhere.

I can't use the editor so what's the point if looking at all the "pretty pictures" looks cool but not much gets done with this app. Disappointing!!

It used to be great but an update means that you can't search for more than one word and the filters seem to unapply themselves at random. Very disappointing as I used to love the app :(

After clicking on an image, I hit hit the back button and downloaded an image instead. I called and talked to a rude CS rep that kept talking over me, stated once an image is downloaded there is nothing they can do. This is not an image I wanted yet, I'm stuck with it and paid for something I didn't want. When I asked for a supervisor the rep stated they "cannot transfer me to one". What? that makes no sense. No confirm download, no customer service = no business from me.

Great collection. But very slow server. Their server hangs quite often. Their backend needs an upgrade or something. Things get frustrating if you are in a hurry.

Over 2 years and still great. I have used many pics and videos my marketing strategy. The high resolution pics and videos have been a hit.

Everything's best about the platform but the only feedback I have is towards the pricing plans which is high for budding startups in India. Obviously because of the currency conversion and how the economy is performing over. If pricing plans can be revised that would be of a great help to the budding startups.
