Buggy, can't upload photos, not easy to find what I need. Took me a little while to realize chat was separate from feed. Messages posted by coach throgh this program cannot be accessed on the app. Every time I try to post photos to the feed it only has my camera as an option (to take a photo) and does not connect to existing photos in my gallery. If I try to upload through photo albums, the entire app shuts down. This isn't worth the frustration.
I love this app it has everything I need to know about the games, the team, the practices. Communicating with the coach is easy. You get reminders, schedules, team photos, and events. In today's world with bieng responsible for me and the kids it's too bad google couldn't organize this well. It really makes it a simple one stop check to get all you need to know so you don't miss anything. I only have one suggestion and that is to have a setting that notifys you with a sound for notifications.
Old and outdated. The look and structure of this app is antiqued and not appealing. Switching between teams, schedules, messages, and general information is slow and often glitchy. I cannot upload photos to the team feed. We would be better off using a FB team page and preprogramming games and practices.
Buggy, yet not able to provide feedback on the app. App does not refresh properly when new messages come in. Most deceptive ads I've seen. Two areas for schedule and scheduleds are confusing, not clear on what is or not displayed by default e.g. With or without practices, upcoming and forward events or since season began. Should not have to go through painful lessons to learn about the bugs and quirkiness. To bad this app is the worst thing about participating with a team or league. Beware!
Previous versions were better serviced and patched. 12 September 2020 version doesn't work well. Currently, my version closes when certain areas are accessed. Example - I try to add a picture to the team wall. The app shuts down. I've tried 2 un-install/ re-installs. Didn't fix the problem. Reaching out to tech support hasn't yielded any results.
This app is, by a significant margin, the buggiest sports-related app I've ever used. My son's baseball team decided to try it, and only iPhone users were able to get updates on schedules and team chat before the season began. I (and other Android users) only ever got the page about the team being in preseason mode. However, I would still get team chat notifications. I just couldn't view them, or respond to them. I spent the entire time using the mobile page (which is also very poorly designed, but at least works). Signing in with a password apparently was the problem. Using the magic link option finally brought me to a screen where it tried to find my team, but said there was none associated with my email address. The spinner kept spinning and never displayed any teams (I'm guessing that's what it was trying to do), and hitting the Next button did not allow me to continue, because I hadn't chosen a team. Closing the app and reopening it brought me back to the same screen, only this time it found the team I was associated with. Awful experience. I ran out of space, and I haven't even gotten to the failure of adding family members. This app doesn't even deserve the 1 star.
In a nutshell, does a bunch of things, but none of them really well. The chat functionality is making me crazy. If the app is open, my chat window doesn't automatically update. Have to exit and restart the app. I've seen similar issues posted online, and logged in and out of the app. That fixes it for a few days, then back to the same issues. Not a GroupMe replacement. Calendar and schedule functions are mediocre. Shutterfly seems better as a free schedule option.
The app is useful in it's core functions. It's obnoxious with the ads being as long as my screen with too much white space. The feed with messages from the app that I cannot dismiss is also annoying. Edit: Further downgraded my rating to two-stars. Why do events from 2016 show up at the top of the schedule? Navigating the app is annoying. The messaging function is there but clumsy since the keyboard covers the message and scrolling is challenging. Only using because league chooses it.
This app is horrible! When I try to log in it says it can't find my account, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app! That didn't fix it, so I tried to reset my password, but it gave me a message 30 seconds after receiving the link that the link was expired! I tried to log in in a browser but it forces the app to open! Talk about dysfunctional! !!Now I've missed alerts ie:our 8 am practice was cancelled on Saturday morning for whatever reason...ugh!! (Are you getting the sense of frustration?!)
The app is even worse than the website, which is basically just an ad for the app. It does a really good job of making information hard to find, and then inaccessible (via vague and unhelpful errors) in the off chance you actually find it. A spreadsheet in Corel Office would be more approachable.
I love this app. The only downside is it most certainly caters to apple. I've had this app for 2 years through different Androids and I cannot post pictures to my teams page. Doesn't matter if I take them with my phone or try to post them through my library..it forces closes the app. However when I email them to my iPad or take the pictures with my iPad it has no problem. Total inconvenience. Wish this could be fixed. Other than that great app. Definitely helps keep teams in the know.
Was crashing like a drunk driver. They seemed to fix that. Schedule always effing defaults to beginning of the season, as opposed to current day. Annoyingly makes you "jump to today" - becuase they thought that was a cool trick maybe? App notifications don't clear in android once viewed. They still show on the app icon and make you think there is something else you missed. Weak all around. I suppose the majority of users have no choice but to use it. It's a league decision
This app worked for a while, now all I get is the message "Something went wrong". I see notifications that parents have posted and click it, but same error. So, basically only have the calendar and a simple calendar is better handled by a calendar app. When the app worked, it was pretty good, but as of late, not so much
Garbage on Android. Constantly clutters my feed with ads for the app itaelf. That's right, it is constantly advertising to me that I need to download the app ... The exact same app that I'm already using when the ads (or are they just notifications?) appear. The "hide item from feed" button doesn't work; items I hide or delete come right back, so weeks-old junk clutters my feed. Messages I want to keep, disappear. The only thing that works is a calendar but I can get that directly from the web.
Downloaded this app last week, seemed cool. Cute way to manage my kids sports. Uploaded a pic, etc. Then it went bad. First telling me my login was won't wrong (it wasn't), password reset link expires within seconds of being sent. Next it suddenly couldn't find my email address at all. I uninstalled, reinstalled, recreated my account, now it can't find my league. Just a comedy of errors. I'm going back to my regular old league website.
This app is a good idea, but it's NOT user friendly at all. Every time my daughter is put on a new team, I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get that team to show up. It won't save her practice or game attendance as I mark it. It keeps telling me there's an action I need to take but won't let me click anything.... It is not set up well and doesn't run well but at least I can keep up with the schedule, and most of the time team messaging works.
The app is flaky at best. Sometimes all of your teams show up, most of the time there is one or more missing. Posting pics works half the time at best. App crashes often. Considering how many leagues have adopted the app, it's embarrassing how many issues there are.
Constantly stops working when I try to add photos. I coach multiple teams and app doesn't allow any photo uploads from my phone. I have to log in from my computer and upload them multiple times before they actually stay in an album. I would not recommend for pictures. I gave 1 star because it's great for scheduling.
This app was terrible 2 years ago and it's still terrible. It didn't accept my new password after I changed it. The Magic Link option sent an email but not with a hyperlink so I had to copy and paste it into the browser. I have been coaching in this league longer than the app has been around and it won't let me sign up for my team.
Glitchy all of a sudden. Been using this app for a while without any issues, but now it's having problems. Login has been iffy - sometimes doesn't recognize my email, even though I continue to receive email notifications from this app. Today I found that my son's game/practice attendance info was wiped, and it doesn't save when I enter it again. Can you check on these problems? THANKS!!
Outdated and buggy. This app's interface could really use an overhaul. It's clear that features were just tacked on and it's time for a fix. The team only started using this app this year and already it feels as though there could be so many improvements. On top of this, the posting feature is buggy and crashes every time on a newer Samsung so it's unusable.
