Sidereal Clock

The Sidereal Clock displays sidereal times and several other time standards, such as UTC, solar time and julian date. It has 3 time displays and you can choose what time to show in each of them. All the displayed times are computed from the Sidereal Clock's own timebase which is synchronized to an external high precision NTP time server. To compute the local times it gets your longitude via GPS.
The Sidereal Clock is supported by ads.

Good app. I wish I could choose how much to display at once, I would like the option of four or five items on the screen, not just three.

It lost my longitude during the update, which threw me. Easily solved, but keeping settings during upgrades would be helpful.

This app is useless because it does not calculate S.T. for previous dates.

Needs a way to default to the analog clock. Wouldn't mind having a night mode as well.

How do I get the other clocks as shown..All I get is the sideral clock..

Thank you!

Analog is a mess on Galaxy Tab 10.1. Digital clocks are fine. I'll probably buy it when the bugs are swatted.

I finally found the options menu by holding the Recent key on my Galaxy Tab. It does what I want, but the interface is clunky.

This is something which I've been looking for on Android and I won't mind paying for it, to get rid of the ads.

I use this app along side my telescope to set the mean solar time. It would save me another step if the date could be in the same screen. I still love it.

Please add an option to set an alarm to go off at a certain sidereal time. Please, pretty please.

Two feature requests. First, don't rotate when device has locked rotation (really a bug fix). Second, do a Pebble Watch companion app! I want the option of real local time on my wrist, enough with this Standard Time hegemony.

It is very good and useful, but I just wish it could display more times than just 3.

Why does this app need access to my identity? That's not a rhetorical question. Developers should explain that satisfactorily in the description.

Should be illuminated with red light to preserve night vision. Otherwise great for use at the telescope.

5 stars and purchase for a widget with multi alert/alarms. Please.

Used at my telescope for a year to set the analog setting circles. Updated to pro version. Not loaded down with ever featured under the sun.

Font matters to view time at a glance without glasses. Often I only want to the minute or even nearest 5 or even 10 main AT A GLANCE.

Sidereal Display not broken--just needs to be set. Touch screen @ time display and select time to display in that spot. REALLY NEEDS AN ALARM!

Clear data/cache on update If sidereal time shows as 88:88:88, clear the app's cache & data. Works MUCH better after.

I am using an HTC EVO 3D and it appears that Sidereal so-called UTC Coord Universal is actually derived from my Android system clock, that is 15 seconds fast, due to Android bug 5485. Basically no Android application should claim UTC discipline unless fetching UTC from a reliable source, such as an NTP server, equating the delay as well.

Works great, if it had alarms it would be outstanding! Please add alarm feature to notify you when the sky is in the position required to view event.

Extremely useful, especially when combined with "clocksync" and a rooted phone. Finally I have exact time :-) nexus one

An alarm would be a wonderful addition. Otherwise its great! HTC Incredible.

The equation if time should be greatest in March and November :)

Does not display Julian date...other than that does what it says.
