Sign Language for Beginners: Introduction includes sections on signing fundamentals and three lessons with video demonstrations:
• Introduction to American Sign Language that describes the historical roots of signs, plus signs for common activities and animals.
• Fundamentals describes the difference between ASL and Sign English, the use of expressions in signing, and signing hand shapes.
• Lesson on "You and Me" teaches the basic vocabulary and phrases for expressing your emotions.
• Lesson on "Greetings" provides the common pleasantries and greetings you use every day.
• Lesson on "Questions" teaches both the vocabulary and grammar needed to ask questions in American Sign Language.

I was loving learning some ASL basics but from around 1 hour of having it installed I get the notification that the app is not responding when I try to open anything within it. So disappointed as I was really enjoying it! Will give it a little more time but may have to reluctantly uninstall.
Nice introduction to sign language. But you need patience to click replay buttom a lot on the videos cause the signer goes in a fast motion movement which makes hard the catch up of phrases in sign language. Otherwise fine app.
A user friendly apps. but need more words and phrases, updates please.
You can open it but as soon as you click on anything it crashes.
Way to fast! It doesn't give me enough time to see how to position my hands or fingers.
I just hope its all correct , because a friend of mines downloaded a different sign language app and her signs were a little different so im kinda on the fence hmmmmm
I think this was a good starting point for learning ASL. I hope to see a sequel in the near future!

The app is easy to use and has a lot of videos, a real bargain for an intro to sign language!

Just a bunch of lessons, nothing interactive. For a paid app I expect more.
WASTE OF MONEY!!! It looks like something created in 1988 and the format is terrible!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. MEMRISE IS 100X BETTER!!!!

For a paid app there is a distinctive lack of information, the demonstrator goes way too fast, sometimes making it very difficult to pick up on the words. Not only do I consider this a waste of 99¢ but also mostly a waste of time to download. TL;DR So much potential, but it's mostly wasted.
