Sign Language Tutorial 101
The purpose of this application is to help deaf, mute, and other persons to communicate to each other. It is able to use in mobile devices. This system will help users to understand the sign language and how to communicate deaf and mute person.
The purpose of the gesture description is to support the representation of signs at the phonetic level, and this by representing phonetically the significant features of signing. The gesture description we present includes essentially one segment: hand posture and movement. The hand posture is defined by the letter of the hand, its orientation, its degree of rotation, and also where necessary its position in the signing space surrounding the signer’s body.The advancement of technology today has immersed itself towards education. The presence of technology has reached its maximum providing sustainable technology towards quality education through delivery and effective learning. Wow! Wonderful app, thank you for creating this app.
MANY word signs are not correct. its home sign, not ASL.The developer wrote back that "it's Filipino sign language, not American Sign Language", with a rude reply "bye the way thanks for your pretty bad concern". This app should be entitled Filipino Sign Language Tutorial , since it is posted in an AMERICAN App Library, so as to avoid MISLEADING Americans who may think they are learning ASL , or that any sign language is good enough, to communicate with American Deaf people. (my daughter is Deaf)
