SignUp makes it easy to manage our gym. When Covid first hit we used a paper sign up sheet for the condo gym and it was a mess. SignUp lets everyone get in to work out safely and I like that I can send new invites and manage changes in limit levels right from the app.
Awful! Not even a real app! And I paid for it!!! All it does is send you an email! Terrible!!!
This app is literally not even functional for even one thing after the update that happened on the 30th. $2 for an app to sit on my phone?
A waste of money. You can't view who has signed up. It can only send you an email to give you the information.
Great app but it kills signing up for multiple events and after signing up each time it takes you to the top of the calendar even if you had signed up for something in the 9th month down and would like to select the next day's spot as well. Alot of scrolling if you are volunteering alot. Would be nice if they could code it to remember your spot. And back took you back one not to the top of the main page.
Not worth purchase, use mobile site! I've purchased apps assuming the cost added benefit in additional features or accessibility. This app does neither. At bare minimum it could save your login and it does NOT. Better to use mobile site and save your money. I wish I read the helpful reviews before purchasing.
I thought the app will have full functionality for the organizer, and it does not. On top of that, you have to log in every time you open the app, and there's not even an option to remember username/password.
Based on my experience on the net I thought the app would be more convenient. Well, I haven't been able to login with FB since I installed, after paying $1.99. I thought 'why am I paying for an app that I can use for free on my laptop' hmm... convenience! BUT I CAN'T EVEN LOGIN...I'm about to hit the button "refund"
The app is basically the same thing as the mobile site. I am an organizer for our athletic association. I thought the app would allow me to create new sign-ups. But, it doesn't. All you can do is look at the events you have volunteered for. There is no added benefit from the app compared to the mobile site. It was a waste of $1.99!!
Can't use Facebook (which is installed and logged in) or email to log in. Regular website works fine.
Like most of the other reviewers, I have paid money for trash. As a major player at my children's school, I organize many events. Have used the FREE website with success (although they flood mine and my volunteers inbox with junk mail), so I thought the purchase of the app would be worth it. WRONG! Crashes every time I use it. So, I have a spam-ing service, a fee to use their app, and an app that crashes and is useless. See ya later, volunteerspot. I'm headed over to the MULTITUDE of other online sign ups.
Ok, thought I'd streamline and pick up the app rather than using the net interface on my phone. Strike 1... Being charged... Willing to try it out though assuming $ translates to better functionality. Foul ball... had to uninstall and reinstall 3x before I could get past the white screen. Strike 2 I can't get past the login screen. Can't log in with my FB creds, can't manually put in login info without receiving server error message. Really hoping that this is just a minor delay but time will tell.
This app doesn't work. You can't scroll down the page and most of the time it times out, and you get a blank screen. Waste of $1.99. Better off just going to the website.
I can't use it as it gives a constant error message.. please fix this problem.. it works great on Apple phones though..
Had used this app in the past with great sucess. Now it is garbage. Does not work. Guess somethings progress in the wrong direction
As an organizer this app doesn't help much. The menu button wasn't working. I can't see a way to send out messages. The system to allocate a shift is clunky and adding a new volunteer didn't save. Maybe good just for checking your shifts but doesn't offer much else. Shame cos a good app would be so useful.
How can they charge $2 and not fix all the bugs on this thing? I can look at one event than after that it just cant handle a second request and I am trying to manage a lot of events, not just 1. Get on the ball Volunteer Spot!
I log in using Facebook on my desktop; but with no Facebook login support on the mobile app, the app is useless. Do not buy.
You have to wait so long to navigate from section to section. You always have to go back or it takes you all the way back. Very frustrating. Worst app
I can't even log in! I get an error telling me to use the desktop site. Obviously I wanted a mobile app for a reason! Waste of money
I am frustrated...This app would be great if I could switch the calendars. I am unable to look at everything I volunteer for. Pain in the rear!!! If anyone knows how to switch calendars on phone through the app please let me know.
Quick, easy - evrything that's great about VolunteerSpot's signup tool but better bc it fits my Android screen size! So easy for me to sign up and see my spots for my kids activities at school and Softball.
Downloaded and PAID for this app because the mobile website stinks. Should have read the reviews. Extremely slow toggling and freezes every other screen, and it's not even a free app!!
What is the pount in the app if every time you try to see who signed up it gives an error saying try from another computer without a small screen?!?!? Its a Galaxy S4 the screen is fine!
Finally gave in and paid for the app and it doesn't even load on my brand new Galaxy S5 or Samsung tablet. Says there is an error and to log in on a computer without using "this tiny screen". What's the point in having an app if it won't even work on any device? I wasted my money and frankly I want my $1.99 back. I don't know if I should contact Google Play Store or Volunteer Spot. I don't even see where I can contact someone through Google Play Store.
What is the point of this app if I can't add an event with it. Why do I need to go to full site to add? What a waste of money!
The reminder emails are great, but sometimes a little redundant...
Dont bother installing, you end up having to go to the website to manage anything or uodate settings. If it were free, sure but im nit oaying for an app that then takes me to a free website to use all the features. Plus i already pay for the service so its annoying to them have to pay for an app that is just giving you an overview
