Signal Reset

SignalReset is a tool that automatically toggles airplane mode to reset the gsm or cdma network signal.
If your phone loses signal and have trouble getting it back, this app will help you not to miss ethat important call or sms that you've been waiting for.

It also alerts you to the fact that it is trying to reset.

It keeps a low profile service running to detect a signal loss and be quick to reset it.

This is an alpha version, if you get any funny behavior please don't give me a bad review give me an email.

It does NOT need for the SIM to be unlock, and doesn't ask you for the pin every time it is activated, it just goes to air plane mode. But hey don't take my word for it just try it out, press reset signal button and see for yourself.

ANDROID 4.2 users:SignalReset does NOT work on this version of the OS because it denies the possibility for an application to toggle airplane mode. So you should not install if your android is running this version!

Version 2.0:Added option to enable/disable sound on notificationAdded option to enable/disable vibration on notification

Bug fix: Disable service working.

Version 3.0:Added option to disable notifications all together.

Version 4.0:Clear notification on click.Minor bug fixes (ads related).

Version 5.0:Removed AdsCorrected some minor bugs

Version 6.0:Corrected the market link to go to donate version.I've added a popup to ask users to download the donate version.

Just lock the app after launch so that it does not close. I had fluctuation in mobile signal and sometimes the signal never returned unless mobile was rebooted. I installed this app 3 days back and until now did not face signal lost issue. Too short time to post whole experience. But looks like it's working. Not sure how :)

When my SGSII loses signal sometimes it wont come back unless I reboot and even then it may not come back. This app fixes this problem and it does it automatically in the background so I am not disturbed. Way better than Fresh Network and Network Booster cause it works in the background and does not disturb me. Could use a new icon with brighter colors.

It helps when I normally got the "Not register to network", unfortunately even if phone indicates it has signal, only until a call is attempted, the error appears. Not sure if it would be possible to setup a option, that among aspects to check, (aside from signal) is to try making a call (by default it would be turned off), like to voice inbox service. If call returns error (not sure if this is possible to read such state), then to reset signal. Cheers, keep the great work

It's a great great.. Because Verizon or bionic.. Can't get their act together to keep a phone working when you go between 3 and 4g. But I would expect some honesty.. Before choosing to install an app free or not.. If you say free but force a separate screen top show up that makes you choose to "buy him a beer" too or "maybe later" every single time.. Unless you buy the paid version or as he likes to name "donate" version. It's not the money.. It's the dishonest.. Snake way he went about it..

The notification works saying that you lost signal but the toggling of airplane mode doesn't. I don't blame the developer as different phones act differently. He will need an HTC ONE M7 to test to get the airplane toggle working but I dought he will buy a $600 phone for test purposes. Still worth downloading for the notifications so you can do a manual airplane mode toggle. UPDATE: Did a little research. The airplane mode toggle won't work on android 4.3 since Google removed the API's to toggle it on 4.3.

The only thing this app actually does is gives notification of a dropped signal. Then states reset in 0 sec which by the way It does not do. Then decides to stop working. totally pointless app.

I have a modified Droid Bionic running off of it's not so stable and limited gsm radio. Several times a day it would require a reset to establish a decent signal, and often I would just find it disconnected. NOT ANY MORE! This app keeps me from worrying about missed calls, texts, and emails. Great job! I'd give it 50 stars if I could.

Ok folks, the app says "reset stopped" when it is done resetting the signal. Maybe not quite normal English, but who cares? And to those who don't like the purchase popup: Apps don't make themselves, how often do YOU work for free? The app does exactly as the description says, and had no obvious bugs. Good tool for my phone, considering service where I live is quite sketchy.

The moment I open it the app crashes . Other comments say it's good so could just be me. HTC One. The great phone android deliberately screwed with new updates. Can't have me own same phone for to long.

Just doesn't work. Keeps saying reset stopped. Going to try No Signal Alert Pro by Smart Android Apps recommended by Lifehackers.

If your phone loses signal like mine and usually needs to be rebooted, this app does it all automatically without powering off. Fantastic app ! It doesn't seem to work on Android 4.3+ tho'.

Perfect for phones that cant regain their signals after seemingly going on airplane mode on its own.

It didn't help me at all. There is still a x above my signal bars

Does efficiently what it's designed to do.Doesn't need the notification tho. Thanks for the effort but I disabled it straight away as the phone throws an audible epileptic fit. Otherwise perfect :-)

Ric. N. Jul 31, 2014

Cha. S. Mar 1, 2017

Constant crashing. I don't think this app is relevant anymore

A. G. u. Oct 22, 2012

It's the only app I found that keeps me connected! No signal booster can even touch this app cause they ate just ads and slow down your phone!

This app worked good when i used it with my single sim phones, but i get stuck up in airplane mode sometimes when using it on my dual sim mobile....may be the app could be adapted to work with dual sim mobiles as well..

I've been using this app for months. It was perfect for reseting my signal and refreshing my network. But this new pop up wanting you to buy the paid version when you open the app now, is really annoying. I can see asking once or twice, but everytime you open the freaking app???....
