website is great on my PC, but it is really awkward in my phone. So, I downloaded this app, but the app isn't very useful. It doesn't let you create a new sign up, and that's what I really need. So, hopefully, they will either add that function to the app or get rid of the asinine autozoom feature on the mobile website.
Extremely slow on an S5. Difficult to access the intended sign up. Hoping to avert the problems encountered when accessing the full site - the hours are a mess to navigate, we are told, on a cell phone. Hoping installing the app and signing up would fix that, but waiting after each press for 30 seconds for the next step is impossible for our constituents to work easily. I didn't see any ads, but i did see that ad trackers needed to be permitted for the app to work. I wonder how to remove those?
Slow, laggy, and display issues. Lots of buffering on the app and awkward layout on both the app and mobile browser. Most of the screen is inaccessible on mobile browser. Also free trial seems to still have ads. All of this combined I am not impressed so far and unlikely to buy a subscription
Trying to sign up for a training for my kids, it shows calendar from May 2018 (it is now Nov!). I have to scroll about 50 times to sign up just once. Once you sign up, it goes back again and you have to repeat for the next sign up! It is not user friendly and is not production-ready. Recommend to take it off play store, work on it and then release it again. Since it signed up correctly, it deserves one star.
App is straight garbage. You can't create sign-ups at all. Just view sign-ups. And on every page is a bunch of intrusive ads waiting on you to click on them. The website on a desktop is more convenient than the mobile app. If I could give this zero stars I would.
The app can tell me about past sign-ups, but nothing recent from the last couple of months. And it won't let me open sign-up links in the app instead of my browser. Better off just using the website until the app can be fixed.
it's worse than the mobile web page itself. you can't easily see what your signed up for, your can't modify your list, and you can't see the entire list in one screen. it's very kludgey
Immediately awful. Installed, then wouldn't open (this app has stopped working) so I opened again. Registered with email/ pw. Then upon login it said email was invalid. Seems like a sneaky way to gather emails and passwords. Glad I used a new pw. If I start getting spammed I'm reporting this app.
The website is great the app is always updating every time I open it I can't see what I need to see and I end up having to go to the website. I have tried opening it four times and everytime it says it's updating and it never finishes
App is hard to use. The only way to add events to your calendar is by downloading the ics file and opening it. In the list of events it doesn't differentiate between events you've only been invited to and events you've signed up for.
App did not work. Uninstalled and re-installed it, nothing! App screen comes up, put login info and the screen comes up with a spinning wheel... nothing else. Close the app, launch the app... same thing!
No help. No instructions. Looking for an easier way to have a group signup other than texts. After trying this app for 5 min, I would rather use text threads. I would have to hold seminars and be permanent tech support if I chose this app. I should have known. When something or someone calls themselves, "Genius," they usually are not. 2 thumbs down 👎 👍
It's nice to be able to quickly find my sign ups without having to dig through my emails, but the app doesn't allow you to create a new list. WHY?!! I need to be able to be productive on the go. Please add more features to make the app fully functional.
I use sign up genius to coordinate taking meals to my elderly grandfather. Neither the app not the mobile website allow you to create a new sign up sheet. Why not build that functionality into the app? Will be uninstalling because the app does literally the same thing as the mobile site with no obvious benefits.
Created an account on PC. Tried to access account via this app on phone and won't allow me to sign in. Error says wrong email or password. Triple checked both, even logged in on PC and changed password. Same error.
It doesn't work since the last update. Only opens to a blank screen. Deleted and reinstalled, same thing. Currently worthless.
This is the most convoluted app I've ever looked at. Horrible user interface. Actually abysmal is a better word.
Useful app,. But any letters with accents in your text show up as blanks. Every op system now supports multi language. But not this. Really?
Was working fine till today, now just opens with a blank screen, even uninstalled and reinstalled still doesn't work. Please fix I use it for school marching band.
Poorly created app, it will drop your sign ups. Not well thought out as it cannot handle many scenarios. Customer service states a response in minutes, good luck with that.
App is nothing more than a link to open the full site on a browser. Constantly asks me log in, then won't let me in with my correct username and password. Why roll out an app when it's clearly garbage?
After the update, all it shows is a black screen! I tried force stoping it, reinstalling, even verifying my email and changing my password via Google. Nothing is working. Please fix asap as I do my National Honors Society community service based on this.
I read the negative reviews but installed since I am a group admin and sometimes need to signups on the go (like right now). App wouldn't open on my S9. Really? My 8 yr old could design an app that works better than this.
I really like this site/app. They only thing I wish it did in the reports, was break date dates and person who volunteered on that date. So once the monthly events are over and I make certificates, I have a report per date with a list of people.
The Sept. 12th update broke it so I tweeted them and they not only got back to me right away, but they released a patch update within hours. Pretty great app, but excellent customer service!
Not functional. Error message "incorrect email". Tried a different browser and couldn't get past a blank screen.
Cannot do much (even add someone to a list). Just using the website on my phone. This app feels like nothing more than a webview-in-an-app but with functionality removed (?!?!?).
Worthless. No way to make a sign up on the app, just edit the ones you've made or signed up for. Makes. No. Sense.
Stopped working out of nowhere. Now won't even install. Do not count on using this service for your event if you need something that is reliable.
First time using to create a sign up. Steps were easy to follow. Looking forward to viewing responses.
