The app works fine and is easy to use. Silvercar used to be my favorite car rental agency because they were different than every other company. For example, before, you could drive through toll booths and pay only the cost of the toll with no administration fee. Now they charge a fee. Before they would only charge you a $5 fee in addition to the fuel cost if you returned the car without fueling up, now they charge a $10 fee. They're slowly becoming just like every other car rental company.
Silvercar is great, the app generally works as designed. A word of warning, Silvercar charge the cash price of tolls plus a convenience / rebilling fee. So they when you drive across the GWB, they bill you $16 plus $4.95 fee. Zipcar are more ethical and just rebill the tolls. Better put their transponder in a silver bag and use your own or pay the cash fees.
The cars are phenomenal! The Q7 with moon and sunroof is magical driving in any season. It's stress-free, receiving the vehicle you actually chose while not waiting in line. They're professional and allow me to feel safe with their cleaning procedures.
I used it once to rent a car and it was great. However, since that first time they raised their prices to insane levels considering the car is little more than a tarted up Jetta. I thought the whole idea was to keep prices down because it's aligned directly with the manufacturer.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Attempted to sign up, as I have an upcoming trip. Apparently three of my debit cards, and one credit card are "invalid"...twice each just to make sure I'm not losing my mind.
they charge you for their faulty car. gave me a car in dulles airport. 160 miles away tire pops - no road hazard or anythig. I put the spare tire and call them. They ask me to take it to an audi dealership to replace the tire and bring back the receipt for reimbursement. so i spend my vacation time in repair shop. fast forward I drop the car and they refuse to reimburse... i wouldn't trust this business.
Great cars! S models with the fancy sound system. Check in and out super easy and smooth. Just wish if the rates are a bit less!
This really is one of the best spots. I should give it 4 stars because they haven't really expanded.. I was exclusively a Sixt customer until they left me stranded in Germany. I then tried a few other spots, but none come close.
Great rental experience although they completely lie about the referral program nothing shows then they make you get all sorts of info. This is supposed to be automatic.
This app works fantastic with my S8+ the notifications and operation has been flawless and it made the exsperience I had with rental that much better Highly suggest using this rental system.
worst car rental company in the world. 5 days b4 my trip they cancel my reservations and say that I told them to. I never told them to cancel my reservations. will never do business with ans will never recommend. now I have to find another rental car even though I did this months ago.
Silvercar is risky. I rented an A4 and has a flat tire, change to spare tire and returned the car. Audi/Silvercar charged me $1470!! I tried to talk to them and ask for an explanation but no answer. After a month, they sent a collection agency threatening to report to credit agency. So I had to pay $1470 :/
Hand's down the quickest and easiest car rental experience you will ever have in your life (not withstanding AI future goji berry voodoo advancements). Beautiful, clean, new car. Peace and love from your northern cousins.
I found this experience to be so smooth, so quick, that I'll definitely be using silver car again. They picked me up from the airport in the car that I'm renting!
Loved the convertible during summer time around LA...really hard to get though again. I would love to have better availability for all areas specially CA.
It would be helpful to price the rental on a laptop, instead of relying on an app that is not working to do that? #uninstalling
Works better on iOS. For some reason this app on my Galaxy Note 10+ isn't showing my points balance or letting me book with points, but on my iPhone it is.
Very convenient and not too expensive. It's really hard to go back to a regular rental place after this.
Glitch, freezes constantly. Pricing is now the same nickel and dining as others. What a disappointing decline of a once promising company.

Having Trouble even bringing up the home page. It just spins it's tires.
App won't show my reservations. It's just stuck in a loop on the reservations page.

best rental ever! custom service and readiness to accommodate unlike any other rental companies I've ever dealt with. they send someone to pick you up right at the airport terminal and drop you off as well. and NO time wasted with pick up and drop off, all together 10 minutes experience. not to mention cars safe for you and your family on any highway
