SSG 500 - Just awful! It won't stay connected to the phone. The GPS feature is only on the box, you won't find it in the watch. It doesn't count the steps correctly. Because it doesn't stay connected to the phone it won't show you the weather or the notifications. Thank you Silvercrest for this "fine" product, my confidence in your brand is so low right now, it could find oil.
New version fails to start up siting with a black screen. Now completely useless. There does not appear to be any way to export data so history would appear to be lost. Previous version was temperamental about re-synchronising with watch after being out of Bluetooth range and appeared to interfere with other Bluetooth devices paired with the phone.
The main problem is that the watch doesn't reconnect with the app when out of range except if I do it manually. Another option to update in the future is to let the user select his own apps under the "other apps" tab, I don't want to receive notifications about my gallery being used and installing an app in playstore. Adding new watchfaces would be a nice addition, and also add a gym mode exercise, I can't do running mode if I'm lifting weights. The app needs a lot of improvement
Tha app itself is good. Easy to use and no problems with connecting to watch. However, since installing the app, ads appear on my home screen/screen lock. This is very very annoying and I might delete the app again, as I just simply hate ads. Especially if they are now showing up even if I am not browsing, but just appear as soon as I unlock my phone.
Please read this before you buy the "smart" watch. It is very hard to reconnect the smart watch. It doesn't handle well the media player - instead of skipping the song it skips the entire album. Won't display any of the messages from Messanger, SMS or WhatsApp. It is rather nice looking piece of junk.
Very difficult to pair with phone
Was working perfectly until I installed the firmware update. Since installing i cant connect via Bluetooth as the code on the app differs from the code on the watch. I will probably need to reset the watch which I dont want to do. Any help ???? Edit*** Have sinced resoved the issue. Turned off the watch. Turned off Bluetooth on the phone. Turned on the watch again and then Bluetooth. Accepted the notification on the watch, and not the phone .
The lild smartwatch disconnects very often from being paired with the phone, then takes ages to connect again. The features entered in the app don't link well with the device. Watch displays 'no data' when in fact data had been entered. Quite the frustrating experience.
Weather doesn't update regularly, the only updates that occur are when the app is opened, having the app open in the background doesn't help. It says 'syncing weather info' on the watch from time to time but nothings actually gets updated. Otherwise not too bad. This is on a OnePlus Nord with latest app and f/w, with battery optimisation switched off. UPDATE: Tired of messing about with this and am returning it to store for refund.
App says loading for ages and has not yet synchronised with my watch. The back button/arrow does not help. I literally have to uninstall and reinstall daily to get the data which is potentially unreliable. Please sort this out so I can use it effectively. I returned my watch the app made it futile.
Lost Bluetooth connection can see zip car Bluetooth connection plus 7 other devices outside but cannot pair with my own phone next to it!! Have tried reinstalling, switching Bluetooth on and off and the rest but no success. Want to return but can't find receipt. Very very disappointed and frankly peed off. Would give 0 points but not available
Read reviews and was a bit taken aback by the negative responses ! Since battling with the app for 6hrs along with a savvy colleague, I fully understand the frustrations. When we finally got hooked up after many and varied attempts, when exercising the BPM kept flicking from 94 to 135 or around with no stability whatsoever ! When the android and unit lost connection whether by distance or disconnect, it was a monumental challenge to get reconnection. So much so that we have finally given up.
Upgrading software didn't work: app cuts bluetooth connection as soon as the process starts. Can't even use the watch as a standalone: you can't set time manually. Very disappointed, never again.
Quite a good app , four stars from me , although to get anything better you would have to by a lot more expensive products . I had trouble making initial connection with the watch , but once connected it has been brilliant . If i had rated it for the price it would have been 5 stars .
Keeps disconnecting, I also tried to access the user manual but there isn't one for the Sat90. I also want to change from Fahrenheit but again there's no option to do so. If there is a user manual, can it be added please.
Paired but won't connect even following the instructions. Watch had a line through the bluetooth no way of turning on from the watch and app says not connected. Have reloaded turned everything on and off at a lost
Can't see anything when the sun I shining, writing very small, light doesn't stay on long enough. Missing proper instructions and lots of other things other people mentioned. Very disappointed.
I trying to connect the watch to the app. Ths FAQ says to make sure the bluetooth of the watch is ON, but doesn't say how to do it. So my BT is OFF and that's it.
It has always been pot luck whether it would sync my watch to my phone, but now it won't even recognise the watch. You get what you pay for, I suppose.
Keeps disconnecting. Makes no difference when you turn off bluetooth then back on. Or says no app installed. Not worth the hassle.
Absolutely terrible. The amount of apps made that dont work properly by this group of people is... well BONKERS! You just make and sell without doing anything to fix it! Anything done would be appreciated.
Doesn't show cycling activity. Nor pushing my wife in her wheelchair.
the calories will be correct but then the next day you'll see that the calories you burned the day before suddenly becomes smaller. for example one day i walked 19,000 steps and burned 700 calories. the next day i checked again and it changed to 300 something calories which is definitely incorrect. please fix this!
Generally happy with the app. Some slight niggles - the temperature is in F and the distance is in km and I haven't worked out now to alter them.
I have just bought this it is picking up my steps but i cant connect to the app my watch just shows find phone and tbe connecting just goes on and on and wont connect my bluetooth says paired but when i click on that it says app needed i have downloaded the app i am very confused asi cant put all my details into the sat90 app
Works perfectly until I changed my phone and reinstalled the app, won't even connect to the watch and now I can't use the watch even to see the time it's now just a piece of junk in my house. Can I have a refund since you've ruined it now silvercrest.
