August 2021 and I cannot log into my SilverCrest WiFi socket app. This has rendered all of my 4 sockets useless. I use them all the time to start and stop my central heating system, coffee maker and table lamps. What's happening, has the server been closed down?
The wifi plug just stopped working and cant log in to the app anymore. Resetting the password doesen't either just gives an error. Can this be fixed?
Terrible Can't get in to the app can't change password this has happened in the last month. No way of contacting them either.
Apps stopped working very recently, can't log in / reset password or even create a new account. Any ideas? Need to reprogram it....
Was great but as others have said has suddenly stopped working.. won't accept email, password or even a new account register. So my timer settings are stuck on!
Works for me and has been for over two years now both hardware and software. Basically, it does everything I need it too.
Stopped working and will not reset or reset password or email same problem as others on this review you must be disconnecting every one.
Stopped working. Now the plug is useless as I cannot adjust any settings.

The servers were down for a while at one point, but everything works now. Excellent!

Pointless if you haven't got the gateway. I bought the plug and thought this would work
Selling physical products and then removing the necessary online support for them is basically theft. I'd vote 0/5 if I could.

For those whose sockets have stopped working, here is the reply from the app publisher... "thank you for your writing. At first you have to know that this product is a discontinued product. The problem has already been forwarded to the manufacturer. We cannot currently tell you whether and when the sockets will work again.We are very sorry.
Didn't work to start with. Re-read the instructions and pressed button "4" for long enough to put it in set-up mode: page 16, before following software setup instructions. Now connected and working OK. Would like a UK power socket icon, in edit, please. Just found out it is no longer supported. Disappointed. Looks like it may be possible to repurpose it using "openHAB"...? Not tried it myself though - how much work is a 5 year old switch worth.
So after 5 years... Thank you Lidl... 12 DUMB PLUGS... No account... No server... RIP... Never again!
It terrible
It has some glitches, but overall I am impressed with the quality of this product: The app has simple screens. The device consumes very little power (measured it at 0.2 W), boots in about 2 seconds, and is much easier to configure than a similar product from a well-known brand (which I also bought). I would like an SDK and/or documentation so I can program the device myself within my LAN (which is why I also bought the competing product).
The app and the switch work reliably and I am really happy with it. Some features could be improved, though. It is - for example - quite cumbersome that you have to delete and re-create the timers every time you just want to change the switch on/off times slightly.
Like everyone else's my wifi plug stopped working through app and everytime I try it says server not found....login failed. I have downloaded the app but it does not work. Seems like server is missing. Please solve the issue or should we consider this as...useless.
