It tells you pretty clearly on the box of the Silverlit helicopter that it's compatible for iPod, iPhone, and iPad. The people having a problem with it not working because you're not using either of these devices, it isn't a problem, it's just specific to the Apple products.
Just doesn't work at all with my LG Nexus 5 or my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Just sits there.
The initial question off selection of smart V2 does not come up hence I can't select smart V2. This is terribly disappointing a complete waste of money if smart V2 cannot communicate with phone
Sucked in by false advertising . I checked out the reviews before I bought . They were all good . Niw find out it is crap . Doesn't work on 2 Samsung phones . Samsung galaxy s3 mini , and Samsung galaxy s5
Pretty poor effort here. Have tried on ipad2 and galaxy note 2 and nothing happens. Followed instructions step by step as per the instruction manual and all we get is a red light flashing on the chopper. Not even a sound comes out of it. Very disappointed.
Like previous reviewers, I have tried this on 2 different android devices, both with the alleged appropriate software level and neither work. I am sure advertising standards would appreciate this as mine was a birthday present and I need my partners iPod to use the present she bought me.
Tried on 3 android devices and none of them work. It's really simple. If a company is incapable of doing something then they shouldn't do it. Pull your head out of the sand and fix the issues.
Didn't work on my note 2, tried on an iPhone and worked straight away. Clearly marked as working on Android devices and doesn't... Disappointing
Tried on s4 s3 note 2 s3 mini and doesnt work only works on an iphone so why release software for android. Waste of time.

For those finding the app doesn't work, you're probably using the wrong one. There is a very similar app that works with the latest helis, further down in search results.
Lg-p500, tablet s. A and C channels don't work. In the joystick mode any operation can't be done without pushing light-button after that. Please, fix
Dosen't work on HTC One S and Galaxy S4 Mini. A real disappointed. Hire better programmers.
S4 doesn't work just blinks red. Waste of time! Taking back to Tesco for refund!
This is not the correct app for the cheeper gyro choppa I bought from Tesco it is further down the app list I have the plug in smart v2 white plug for the phone keep looking !

Worked great. I could fly around my living room and land again. Updated to jelly bean and it won't connect.. just blinks red. :'(
