This is the best app I have ever installed for my health. I can breathe, walk, sleep, and work better. I am 72 years old and feel better than I did 20 years ago. The instructors are fun and compassionate. They offer lots of options for doing the exercises based on your own ability, and directions for doing the workouts safely. The classes are always fresh, showing that the instructors continue to renew their education, experience, and skills.
I have used other online fitness apps over the last few years. I find the instructors very good, the offerings on point and varied. The routine suggestions by the instructors are very helpful because even though fitness has been a part of my life for many years there are some things I need to adjust from being in my 60s. Great! Thank you.
Difficult to navigate. Especially on my tablet. The guided workouts are difficult to use without much explanation. Figured it out as best I could, probably won't use that option much. The zoom workouts are great.
I do not like the lack of privacy. App will not work with my VPN. Buying an expensive tracking device is out of the question. Medtronic tracks my daily activity because of my pacemaker but is not compatible with the app. Garbage, intrusive, unsecured app in my opinion.
My main complaint is that the ap is locked in portrait orientation. My tablet has a keyboard which allows the screen to stand upright in landscape orientation. I really wish they'd fix this defect.
I like exercising at home. Saves me money & time of driving to a building to exercise. I plan to venture out soon, I also like the interaction with other people.
I love this app!! Silver Sneakers has given the chance to start working out again. They have easier workouts and you can work up to a harder workout. If you like live workouts they have that and then they have personal workouts so they have something for everyone. Just download the app, sign up, then start your workout.
This app has been great for getting me exercising at home. The beginner classes are truly for beginners. I've seen so many "beginner" programs that assume you're actually pretty flexible, when my goal is to become more flexible.
I can't log on. I use the same email address and password that I use on the website which works fine there but the app won't recognize them. The app worked fine. Now After the latest update I can't schedule live clauses. When I try to RSVP I get a message that I don't have Zoom installed which I do.
Great for logging exercises, but doesn't display properly on Chromebook. (Some menus are over-sized and some a blank.) Displays properly on my cell phone, though.
As of 3 days ago, when I try to RSVP to a live class, the app tells me that Zoom is not installed on my phone. Have uninstalled & reinstalled both apps multiple times. No luck. It worked fine last week. Hoping they fix this very soon!
Just as others in January/February we are getting error of 'Something has gone wrong trying to Join LIVE class, try again' when clicking 'Join Live' button. I have uninstalled & reinstall this app, still get error. Can no longer do any Exercise. PLEASE FIX THIS ON GOING PROBLEM as we want this app for my required exercise.
The Fitness Loft on Parsons Avenue in Columbus, Ohio is the best gym I have been to ever. It is super clean, serene and staff is friendly and members are courteous. Plenty of Parking and well lit.
Easy to use app. I enjoy the fitness on line classes. I like that I can tract my activities
Great app with some needs. It would be better if your scheduled workouts could be placed in our calendars because you have to open the GO app to see notifications.
I enjoy being able to exercise in my home ,in these uncertain times. The instructors are wonderful, knowable and helpful. I'm feeling better about myself. Working on strength, balance and cardio.
The availability of the app. on the mobile phone makes it easy and practical to remain active. It has encouraged me to get out my passive state and take the steps necessary to improve my health.
easy to use; lots of variety and info that is frequently updated.
Come on, man. We are seniors and do not want to go to4 different places to get going. Its so much easier to use the e mail and keep it handy to schedule and they e back with the zoom link.
Great workout videos from begginer to advanced. I've done on demand videos from 10 minutes up to 45 minutes. Very convenient. You don't have to go to a fitness gym if you chose not to like me. You can save the videos you like for easy access to do them again. You get to save your progress to see your accomplishments. I earned a gift card for keeping a steady trend in exercising! I love it ❤️
Excellent! I was skeptical of the app at first. But once I downloaded and configured it, the app works fine. The exercises and instructions are easy, unless you're opting for strength training. Then it gets a little more challenging. For seniors looking to get or stay in shape, this app is perfect. It's very senior-friendly and useful. It will keep you motivated.
Works fine when you can log in, but frequently just goes in circles at log in. Have had to delete and reinstall several times. About to give up on it. 2/2/21 - Changed to one star as it has gotten worse. Twice, I have been able to log on, started my walk, even checking after a few minutes to make sure it was recording. When I finished these walks, it had gone back to the long on page, recording nothing. Am done with it.
Often times when trying to record a SS activity done on zoom or video, I hit next ant gies to a blank screen that says: "Undefined Fatal Exception". No clue what that is but frustrating. Sometimes also locks into a blank SS Go screen and can't. As of 2/19/21 the app has been working well. I can add additional activities, it has not gone blank on me, and I am able to maneuver around far better than a mont ago. Thank you for fixing some of the previous bugs. LE
Great videos and organization/interface. The few minor things I find a tiny bit annoying are that 1)the timer only shows for warm-ups so you need a separate device since the exercises are per time 2)some exercises don't have instructions (there's only one I've noticed so far that has actually impacted my workout, though) 3) for me it would be nice to also mark videos as want to try and unable to do/don't like Very minor notes for an overall great app Does use a LOT of data, though, so use wifi
It's a decent app with a good format. I like that it demonstrates the exercises. However, as usual, it ignores those of us with physical disabilities who can't lay on the floor, stand on one foot, Etc. It would be nice if it had alternative options to modify the exercises for those of us with these issues.
Frustrating. When I enter a schedule for an activity it enters it multiple times. Same date same place same day. I get multiple reminders. If I try to delete an extra one it just adds another one. Same thing if I try to mark one of the multiples as skipped it just adds another one to the list. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and it does that same thing. I sent a problem message over a week ago and have had no response. I will not use it if that is going to be a problem.
When starting a workout the intro to an exercise uses portrait mode. But then I have to activate ite it and it turns to landscape mode. At the end of the exercise I have to manually close that video and at that point it reverts to portrait mode . Need to hit rest or skip in order to mo Do you seriously believe anyone will do these if one must constantly switch back and forth manually? These are not exercises done with phone in hand This app is very badly designed. There are better ones.
Some nice routines at various levels. I don't overdo it and hurt myself.
Wow. Couldn't create an account. Couldn't login. Sent email to support and it said address was invalid. Was able to create account on website and login to app.
In general this app is pretty useful. However, it does need the ability to customize settings. For example, the 'My Progress' week begins on Monday with no ability to change it to the calendar week, which starts on Sunday. Also, when entering activities such as walking or running, the distance must be entered in miles. As I do mostly 5Ks, it would be nice to be able to enter that directly without having to convert. One final suggestion. The app does not sync up with the Silver Sneakers website, which causes some duplicates on the website.
