Unlock password protected files, uncover hidden messages and decrypt lost data and figure out where she went, what she did, and how someone can disappear without a trace so suddenly.

About the game:

Experience first hand a found footage style mobile game. Sara is Missing (SIM) is all about the horrors of mobile technology and touches upon the voyeuristic pleasure that one gets from prying through another person's personal items. We store so much information about ourselves on our mobile devices that deducing what we really are like in real life becomes as simple as tapping on a screen.

Features:

- Multiple choices will lead to multiple outcomes and endings.
- Chat with different people at the same time.
- Receive phone calls from NPCs and other mysterious callers.
- Hidden sub plots and extra information to unlock.
- Send and receive videos and photos from other NPCs.
- Simulated mobile phone helper, providing hints.
- Utilizing a similar typing mechanic as popular messaging apps.

NOTICE: The game may not work on some Galaxy Tab devices. We are aware of this issue and are working on a fix soon.

It was okay, it was extremely short and left me saying "was that really it?". I played the game twice making different choices each time, what you choose does not change the response of the other person or the outcome of the game in any way, unlike other games of a similar nature that I've played. So in that regard it was disappointing. Was an interesting game though, worth a playthrough.

So I will say that my experience with this game was fun. It's just a bit confusing at the end, though I played both bad ending and good ending (picked faith then sara). They're both great! Only thing is, is that they both have the same endings... you would think that picking each of them would have a different ending but nope, not this one! But after all im sure they put hard work into the game! I suggest you download it, but just a TW it has blood, (gore?), and multiple photos of bodys.

Good short game, but the plot feels unfinished. The gameplay is similar to other interactive fiction games, simulating a smartphone interface, though here it goes beyond conversing in SMS messages. It's really well done. The story is also not bad, however just when it begins to pick up and creates some tension, it suddenly ends abruptly and in a very unsatisfactory fashion. Feels like it had something to say. Too bad.

An amazing idea perfectly executed by a more than capable team of actors, writers and developers. The story had me going from the first second to the last so thrilled it honestly took me a while to realise it's already over. Every sound, vibration, actors' performance and other elements were so on point it made the overall experience incredibly believable and exciting. Thank you.

It's kind of short, but good in other ways. Some people rated the app 1 star because, "It won't let me play on a rooted phone," or: "It wants me to reset my phone". I thought I needed to at first, but I clicked it and it was for the game. But since im on a computer, I don't know. Fairly good game, but i'd like to see different endings? I did both, killing Sara and Faith differently, which led to both endings. I love the detail, amazing game afterall the choices and stuff. Too bad it ends. :(

Very interesting, immersive game. The end was a bit abrupt, and a tad confusing. It was a bit short, but I think the game was free (or at least very cheap, I can't remember because I downloaded it a long time ago and just now played it), so it wasn't too surprising that it wasn't long. Really good work on creating this sort of "snapshot" of a person's life in just a small bit of phone data (and quite clever to make it "damaged", to explain why there's not a ton of info left). Very fun!

it won't let me download the app. it will say "unable to download the app 'sim' if the problem continues, get help trouble shooting." I have tried to download this app multiple times and I get the same results. I have done the steps if Google play won't let you download apps, but it did not work. I have seen people like markiplirer play it, and it looked amazing. if you could do somthing about this problem, it would be appreciated. I am using a samsung galaxy sky if you needed that information.

Just as I was getting sucked into the vibe and mechanics of the game, it ended - and very abruptly at that. It was disappointing that there was not a proper finale. It has a strong premise and promising interface however, which I'm sure has been explored and developed far more thoroughly in the SIMULACRA games. As it stands, this was a good intro into the games field by the developer(s), however it feels more like a beta test. Download if you want to kill some time, but don't expect a full game.

The game itself isn't half bad. The pacing isn't too fast, but if you don't know what you are looking for exactly you could get stuck for a while. The biggest issues are these four points. Firstly, the game is too short. Second, its actually just a small and very over dramatized advertisement for another game. Third, the choices do virtually nothing, and barely impact the story. Lastly, no matter what you do, the ending always leaves you with both a bad taste in your mouth, but also a bit of guilt from the results of your choices. If this "game", if you can even call it that, were longer and more fleshed out, then it could be a wonderful experience. But as it stands, honestly don't waste your time. It's maybe.... 5-10 mins of your time wasted on a playable advertisement.

I saw a video on their new game and decided to check out this one first. Having seen their newest one, find Anna, I was a bit disappointed as this one is not nearly as interactive but it's also free and the new one isn't. Overall this was okay but ended quick and too abruptly. It gives clues that don't mean anything or relate to the game. There are three alternate endings but they don't really vary in terms of end dialog. I was surprised that the app took up more space than I expected on my phone but since you finish the game quickly and there's no real reason to replay you won't have any reason to keep this app on your phone upon completing. I would highly recommend their newest game finding Anna based on the gameplay video I watched

A great, if unfinished, approach to modern narrative experiences. Fun fact: this was apparently made in 24hrs for a game contest. Puts the brevity and limitations into context, does it not? Not that it justifies them: we have a truckload of false herrings and fleshing out details, yet very little to interact with -and even that, is not always co-operative with one's largest digit. Still: loved the premise and the presentation. Pity it couldn't be fleshed out into a proper game prior to publication. Let us hope for the next project I say!

It was pretty great actually! The only pet peeves I had were that the game doesn't save your progress, You have to start that challenge thing from the start if you accidentally leave the game. This happened to me so many times because I got super into the game and pressed the home button on my real phone 🤣. Other wise this is an awesome game!😀

It's cool, a good concept, but absolutely no replayability considering differing choices only allow for a different dialogue at best, before the game returns to the same dialogue. The game itself implies that choices matter, but no matter what you choose, the ending is the same, an abrupt and confusing stonewall, and no choices you make can help the characters.

This was pretty good. The gameplay was interesting and unique. It was also scary. The reason I rate it only 3 stars is that it was short. I time my gameplay and this one took 52 minutes and 43 seconds with me reading/watching/looking at everything. I think the game could use more padding. If there had been more, I would have felt more like I was the character being drawn in. small hint for a part that may be tricky for Americans: For the code: what does the rest of the world do?

its... alright. some of the spooks are pretty good, and the idea is interesting, but the false sense of choice fails to hit any mark and the "endings" are abrupt and disappointing. very little in replay value, lots of extra info and opinions that mean *nothing* and do *nothing*. apparently this is an unfinished demo, but even by that standards the story feels like its rushing itself and the stakes feel stale because of it. cool premise, not great execution. wish there were more real choices

This is a GREAT game! I would love to give you full stars for it except there is one thing that I have a problem with. The game has no ending. What I mean by that is, there is no end screen like in the Simulacra series. When the game ends, it just loops back to the beginning of the game. Like it doesn't actually have an end to it. It doesn't even send you back to the title screen. So it doesn't feel like it actually ended. If that could be fixed I will give 5 stars on both android and iOS.

Omg I absoulutely loved this game it was very thrilling, and entertaining!! I would definitely reccomend this game to others!! But one thing is I would love if you made more stories like this!! And I dont mind the progress not being saved it saved mine for the next day and when i messed up I could have just exited and started that part over again!!!

Jef. L. Dec 28, 2018

it is well made with a decent setup, but the entire game should be a demo for what the game should be. Your choice of answers have zero effects on the game up until the very abrupt end when you choose who you want to die. The subplot about ghosts never goes anywhere and the entire game's story could fit on a single page. I really wish i didn't fall for this one. waist of money.

Great game. Gave me plenty of jump scares and definitely has a good storyline with a thickening plot. The reason I give this four stars it's because it seems too short, I was left feeling uninformed and left out from truly understanding the ending, and some more story would be beneficial, at least for me. Otherwise, great game!

Pretty realistic and scary. Had some features other sms games don't. My two hang ups are how short it is and that the game abruptly ends and starts over. The story line amped up and then all of a sudden it stopped. I thought I was being taken to the next episode.

Ros. B. Feb 28, 2022

Before I start, this isn't abt the game. My friend and I downloaded it about 1 month ago. And deleted it the day after. But starting around 2 days ago her messages that she was receiving were the sound of when iris texts you. But the thing is, is that it only does this for 2 people. Me and her bf. She hasn't changed the notification or anything, cause she doesn't know how to. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, if you stopped it from happening, what did you do.

Hey. T. Jul 6, 2020

It's an alright story but it's just so short, and it doesn't really have a real ending. Also the fact that it glitched out of the game and took me to a red room website on my browser. Apparently it happens to a few people so try to exit it before it fully loads of you do decide to download and this happens.

lit. Feb 11, 2020

Maybe it's me, but I don't really understand the point of the game. Beat it twice in under 10 minutes. Seems like it has great potential but then goes nowhere. Very abrupt endings and not sure how I feel about a game that directs you to a video streaming website upon completion. Disappointing.

Honestly its amazing. Its startling and suspenseful. Makes you really feel as if the lives are in your hands. So many options and choices makes it hard to decide what is really right. Tho i dont recommended playing it late at night if ur easily scared. 10/10
