The game was great, but was disappointed with the subtitle and voice sync was very poor. I would hear people talking, then see the subtitles for the next part and the visual character had finished flapping his jaw before anything else. It's a bit off putting when your enjoying the game
The game is just as enjoyable as the first one. I wasn't sure in the beginning because Simon went from a funny, sweet kid to an obnoxious, rude one. The personality switch was just a bit of a shocker. Other then that, it's fun, funny and a good length. I only wish we could buy the 3rd from Google play.
Some clues made sense and could be worked out. Others just had no reasoning in them at all, so I had to look at a walkthrough. And that's only because I made myself finish it before uninstalling. If you can't work something out using your own logic, and instead have to try everything in your inventory, then what IS the POINT? Also - Simon was a goofy kid in the first one. Sweet. In this one he is rude, mean, and sexist. Quite a pig actually. Put a damper on the playing experience.
As others have said, Simon has a very different personality this time around, and not for the better. Early on in particular, he's unnecessarily rude to everyone. Remember how in the 90s we'd see clips of 70s shows and be amazed how sexist and racist they were? Well, hold that thought because you may experience the same disappointment here. The port and gameplay are fine, though make sure to save before visiting MucSwamplings, where game is prone to freezing. Slightly harder than first game.
I love the fact that Mojotouch is still supporting their older games. A big thumbs up to them for keeping the old classics fresh till date for modern phones. A big thank you! ❤️
seems alright, but crashed for me too after an hour of unsaved play. Can't be bothered to start again so basically a waste of money. Given all the other reports of crashes, this game desperately needs an autosave feature!
Still very playable, a classic. Crashed a few times but then again the original used to...Very humourous and witty even now. (makers of Legend Of Badminton take note: this is how a real point and click game should be...)
perfection. just like the original. updated controls if you prefer but can have old-school which is great
Fantastic Game, first time getting to play it through, a lot tougher than the first also. Loving the series, its now convinced me to play the rest.
Forgot how hard the original was! Loved it nonetheless, and this is no disappointment either. Brilliant games, cant wait for a third!
Good UI and plays well but Simon is far too annoying. I know he's meant to be sarcastic but he berates you for trying to use items, insults or lusts over people. Generally not someone you want to spend a few hours gaming with. He was fairly charming in the first game but now he is just awful.
I would have enjoyed but couldn't because of the blatant racism and inappropriate language. Horrible I can't believe this has not been changed
Totally love this game bit laggy words dont match their mouth apart from that, when is 3 out would be cant wait to play it i would rate these more played both of these love them
Horrifically racist. Should come with a warning about the revoltingly racist depiction of a black character. I couldn't stomach playing any more after that. Also badlt sexist and just - why is Simon such an awful tool in this game? He was well meaning, kind and funny in the first one. In this one he is just mean.

Love this game
Loved this back in the day. My 6 year old and I clocked Simon 1 and then moved onto this one. Only disappointment is at McStop where if you try to do something and the swamp creature is still talking nearby then the game will freeze.
Brilliant, always been one of my favourite games, and I keep coming back to it to play it again and again. Many many thanks for making this old pc game available on tablet.
I really wanted to like this game, I adored the old monkey island games and thought I'd give this a shot. There are elements that I like, such as game play, interface. The puzzles really test your brain and are fun but they are so muddled together with no real thread linking certain ones together. You just solve bits and pieces here and there without feeling like you're moving through the game. I've no problem with my brain being tested I'd just like a bit of direction.
