This app was flawed, but acceptable - time would occasionally freeze, or not display properly, but I could work around that. With the last update, however, you (the creator) took an already free function of the app - digital time - and stole it away, keeping it locked behind a paywall. If you want to add paid functions, do so, but taking away what was already ours? After this, I can no longer trust the app, or any of the other by the creator, and will be uninstalling them.
Very simple Didgtal clock can we go really complicated with this one and add a Analog clock with a few skins perhaps a seconds hand with a day date and month sounds lovely. Thanks for getting back to me i was a bit suprised you responded to me.
No sound when ringer is silent, making the app useless. Also, other non-system apps have taskbar icon when alarm is set, why not this app?
IF YOU UPDATE THIS APP FUNCTIONS WILL BE REMOVED unless you pay. The clock widget will NO LONGER WORK unless you pay making it basically USELESS for as a clock display and you will loose your world clock function.
Great app. But for some reason the homescreen widget keeps losing a few minutes every few hours; opening the app seems to fix the issue but only temporarily. Dunno if its me using it incorrectly or a glitch. Update: Issue reported has still not been addressed. It's a great app and I really like the look and feel of it... but just not reliable. Let's just say I'm no longer using it as my primary clock... I was left running late on 2 instances because of my reliance on this one.
The alarms are unreliable. I can reliably reproduce the bugs. Some alarms I set to no sound, vibrate only would blurt at max vol in a library. That's embarrassing and rude. Other alarms I set to ring and vibrate would only vibrate, resulting in me being late for an appointment. That's also embarrassing and rude. DON'T RELY ON IT FOR IMPORTANT OCCASIONS. Edit in response: Yes I did check those. The alarms have always triggered correctly. What's incorrect is the *settings*, i.e. vibration, sound.
Pros: - Can set time using analog clock face (built-in clock app with my new phone has only a digital spinner, which I dislike) - No ads - Can set multiple alarms Cons: - If I wake up early and turn off the alarm, it still goes off at the time it had been set for!! Has happened several times. - No icon appears at top of phone screen to show that alarm is on. Have to open the app to ensure that alarm is set. - Cannot change color scheme without downloading thank you app.
great as all simple apps are - only missing the ability to set snooze time per alarm. also, sound doesn't seem to play when the screen is on?, and the notification doesn't stay on screen like GClock - edit: that is a shame, as i would always want 10 minutes snooze in the morning, but 30 minutes for, say, excercise or watering plants
The app runs fast, is customizable and doesn't turn your phone on when an alarm time comes... That's where the good things end here. If your phone is off and the alarm time passes, the next day if the phone is on but you haven't opened the app and turned the alarm off and on again, it won't go off... If you have a timer on, and turn off the screen then the timer will pause and not run. The stopwatch will do the same. I'm a bit disappointed because this app was supposed to be so good, and my experience has been quite poor at best.
I appreciate what you're trying to do—especially your idea of creating apps that don't have network access by default (as many do now, even those you wouldn't imagine would need it). Sadly, your clock lacks the simple feature I hoped it'd have: a volume control. Inexplicably, Android considers alarms "Media", not "Notifications"—so there's just one volume for music to help you fall asleep, and alarms to wake you. It's an oversight in the OS, not your fault. Thanks anyway!
Almost perfect. I wanted a clock timer combo and this is it. I dont use snooze I get up so can't comment on that. I would like to see the hours and minutes to the next alarm on the alarm list screen. Why? I work shifts and try to get 8 hours sleep. If the info is on there I know I'm properly rested or will be short on sleep. I just had that on a previous alarm app and really miss it.
It does what I need, however, I've somehow got two sounds set as my alarm. I found I could use a custom sound, so I chose some music, decided it wasn't good enough and switched to an annoying sound. Now whenever an alarm goes off I get my former music and the annoying sound, even on new alarms. I've no idea how to remove the music from the alarms.
Removing features that were previously free and requiring money to get them back. That's awful. Zero stars should be an option. The time literally stops. I've made sure its not battery optimized and all that. Everyday at some point I have to open up the settings and the color option to restart the clock. Shame. Fix that and add a shadow option for the text and you'd get 5 stars.
I've got "exception" message in place of the timer, after the alarm was turned off. I usually set an alarm, and after turning it off, the next time I open the app, it continues the sound like if the alarm was set when I touch the Clock app. Is true I had battery save mode on, maybe has something to do with the issue.
I have tried this the last 2 weeks. I attempted to use snooze, but it didn't go off at the right time. Thankfully I set a second alarm or my son would not have made it to school on time. I decided to just forego snooze in order to make this app work for me. But then today I had the alarm go off with nothing popping up on my screen in order to turn it off. I was in the middle of rush in traffic with this unstoppable annoying loud distraction interfering with my focus. Not okay! I'm deleting.
Repeats info. Assigning new alarms uses the previous input. VERY frustrating. Each new alarm should start blank. The difference would be very nice for accuracy. When filling out a new alarm I jump to what is most important to me and when I see fields already filled in, that leaves room for error. With me using upwards of 50 alarms I need things simple and it's easy to make mistakes with fields already completed.
Hello, I just wish you to know that this app is currently the only clock/timer app on Android that caught my eye. It's so simple, clear. No fancy cheap looks, just pure modern aesthethic simplicity. No ads. Fast response time. It reminds me so much of the default Clock app for Windows Mobile 10, which I still miss so dearly! There is still one last feature, that I greatly miss and is incredibly useful: Adding more timers (with own labels). The same like on Clocks and Alarms tabs, but for Timers. Then your app will be just perfect 💚 Please add this, I beg you. Default Android apps, Google app and Huawei app doesn't have this. It is a great niche to fill. Thank you, and you've done a really great job on all those simple apps! Have a great day, Michael
The widget for this app was fine before but since the update the widget is far too large and i cant center it properly on my homescreen
Love the other apps by this developer, but this one is too basic. For example, the AM/PM shown in the widget is lowercase ( 9:00 a.m. ) which is... not attractive. And the font used seems to be the developer's choice, rather than the system font or something that is selectable. Other apps are great. I've bought paid versions of several of them.
It's definitely a simple app. No ads and I like how you can change the apps color. But I had a issue with the snooze. The alarm would go off but when I snooze it it wouldn't go off again in the 5 minutes it was set for. It made me late for work twice. No issue with any of the other apps though.
This app is a nice, simple clock. Problem: in my Moto Z3 the alarm clock is tied to the system ringer volume, not the system alarm volume! This is particularly problematic for those times when I like to sleep undisturbed and turn my ringer off, and hope to wake up on time and turn the alarm ringer all the way up. Please fix, and 5 stars are coming!
Great simplistic app, easy to use and simple design.
Dont depend on it. It was working fine and it gives warning that It may not work due to certain system specs. I didn't depend on it at first. I set 2 alarms on 2 diff devices. This one was actually working. Today it never went off and I woke up late for work. Instant delete. Your career is on the line over an alarm clock here.
I really like it visually including all the settings but the reason for 3 stars is the lack of date customisation when setting an alarm. What I mean is that it would be great to have the option to select a date from a calendar when setting up the alarm instead of just a one off or Monday to Sunday repeat.
I like this so far, but I have set multiple timers, and they will not trigger until I turn my screen on. Not that great when I am using it for cooking. || Alright, thank you. || Also, now the entire time my timer is counting down my phone is notifying my with a alert sound, but not the timer alarm sound. Looking forward to the updates, the other Simple apps I have used are great.
Even though this app has an incongruity that the widget doesn't stay updated when the phone is not in use and display is off (some alarms are going off late) and the app is abandoned, I still love this app over the cookel clock app which has too many permissions. Please consider bringing it back. Or a pro one. (I already purchased file manager Pro and gallery pro apps)
A nice clock app. Easy to use. Found it surprisingly hard to quiet /dismiss the alarm. I would also have liked to been able to dismiss a silent notification of the upcoming alarm. I needed to take extra care to actually activate new alarms, which didn't work well for me. Yesterday evening I forgot to change iPad codes on my kids iPads because after I set up the alarm I forgot to also swipe it activated.
Friendly, but important lacks in alarm, which is not very reliable. Snooze function doesn't work at all. (LG G6. Andr 9). Swiping to snooze symbol while alarm ringing makes the app disappear instantly. When creating several alarm times, they are not listed in chronological order. This is very confusing. Timer: when running, you cannot add some spare time (minutes). The clock widget is fine, but is not on lock screen. Would be nice (Perhaps impossible?). 2 stars because of unreliability of alarm.
