This app is horrible. Not one thing is customized for me. Simple promises to gear a plan to my body type and other specific criteria, but it's just a slew of random picture slide videos. Good luck navigating them. One click on a page opens a new video so your spending the bulk of your time trying to get back to where you were. I still don't understand how I'm supposed to fast. A complete waste of my time. Thank God I chose the trial option.
Excellent app (I upgraded to premium on day 1) with one big exception - there needs to be customization options for the journal. I'm taking pics of all my meals, and being able to filter my journal to only show food logs (and an option to decrease the margin buffer between logs) would make it great. This is a pretty big feature that is missing for me, as the journal is pretty cluttered right now. It needs to be easier to see trends in (specifically) fasting and eating.
Food reporting isn't very accurate. There are some apps that allow you to enter restaurants and enter actual menu entries and know all the nutritional values to a tee. This one doesn't even have a "sandwich" entry. And I forgot to enter food and there is no intuitive way to enter food from a previous day. The date and time is set and if you forgot to make an entry it doesn't seem you can correct it. I was motivated and recording, but I didn't make it past the free trial.
I genuinely like this app quite a bit. Helpful, motivating, and easy to use. The thing to know about this app that others have seemed to miss: this is a TOOL, not a PLAN. You are in charge of your own fasting, and the app will not tell you when, what, or how much to eat - it will make recommendations for food groups to make your diet more balanced. It provides education, motivation, and encouragement. Four stars only because of the difficulty reaching someone at CS to answer a simple question.
It would be okay if it were free, but there is literally nothing here worth paying for. Asks all kinds of personal questions but there is no personalized plan, program or specifics at all. It's just a big, cartoon-colored .collection of basic widely available advice and trackers anybody can find for free online.
Excellent user experience and paced learning. As someone who used to make software for a living it's refreshing to find a tool that does exactly what it claims and delivers an excellent user experience. I've been so excited to share this app with my family members. So far I've completed less than 10 fasts but it's been a lot of fun. I'm someone who has done extended fasts before so I don't need a tool but nevertheless I found it extremely motivating. Have fun and keep it Simple.
Don't think to try the one week trial. When I tried to cancel my subscription in the first week, the button was like it's disabled, then the 8th day they charged me $80 for the next 3 months. After that I was able to cancel my subscription but they won't refund me. Even thought I didn't use the app at all! And they're ignoring my emails now.
Paid and tried the Simple app for 3 months. Liked it at first. However, after the first week I realized it wasn't encouraging healthier choices via the icons. I sent info they requested and that I thought would improve the app from a user standpoint. I only received auto-reply "thank yous". Nothing changed/No improvement. $60 for 3 months isn't worth it. Cancelled last day, charged $60 same day. Cust. Serv. useless. Requested refund. Refused. UPDATE: Company saw review! Satisfied w/ resolution.
It's a good and well designed app however I feel the price point is too high for what it offers. I feel the daily info is "ok" but nothing I already don't know, and it chides me for having snacks even though my snacks are vegetables. If it was much lower in monthly cost it would be a great little assistant to your IF needs.
Even the free version is useful! This is a pretty straightforward app to track start/stop times, as well as basic info about meals & snacks. The articles seem to be well researched and are engaging... I'm pretty new to IF and it's got enough info to help me get started.
Was great the first week. Had daily tasks to do and the eating and fasting would complete. Now I have no daily tasks and I always have to swipe the eating and fasting away. Also has very broad categories for food options. What do you count in a salad🤷♀️ I still use it daily, just think some tweaks would be great.
This is a good way to track what you are eating and when. Unfortunately for me, my system goes into 'famine mode' with fasting and, instead of losing fat, it just seems to swap around muscle and fat and hang on to every available atom of food! If I didn't have a damaged foot, I could walk more, which perhaps would make a difference.
Mostly useless. The app is clunky and hard to navigate. I paid extra for a premium meal plan that never came. The app provides almost no guidance... It's basically a fasting timer and a very limited meal tracker. I quit using it after a couple of weeks. And if you "subscribe" and find it as useless as I did, be sure to cancel immediately because they will charge your card without any advance warning, and absolutely no refunds. Don't waste your money.
Decent app, very east to use. However I feel like the food items could be organized better for tracking meals, I either feel like the food is hard to find or it's entirely not on the list. Premium might be a nice option, however it is way too expensive to just have some data charts and a few tips.. If it were at least half the price I might consider the subscription but does not seem worth it. I am enjoying the app so far tho, and it has helped motivate me to stay on track.
Useful for tracking fasting/ eating windows, but logging meals is a royal pita because you can't search for things. You just scroll through pages of icons. Can we just get a list option... even making the icons alphabetical would help. Also, I don't like the interactive "chats" where your only reply options are things like "I can't wait!!!!!" or "I'm not ready." How about some more realistic, like "I'm willing to give that a shot." All in all, I'm not impressed.
Not impressed. The food logging isn't actually something you can track. Basically once you figure out the 14 hour fasting 10 hour eating schedule, you've figured out the app. Glad I only paid $1 for the 7 day trial. Even that though is high. Should have been free.
Apparently there is a free version of this, which I didn't know. I purchased the premium version, unaware that A- they charge you every THREE MONTHS and B- there is a free version! DO NOT PAY FOR THIS APP! There are plenty of similar apps that are free that can help you with intermittent fasting! LIFE fasting is one app that is free and gives you same information. They charged me and will not refund me even though I canceled. WASTE OF MONEY!
This app is fantastic! Keeps me motivated and helps me stay on track. Contains super useful information and advice which give you a greater understanding of why you are doing IF. Have not experienced any technical issues, so happy I found this!
This aap has changed me many times when I was trying to take the subscription. Atleast 3-4 times and all of them were payment for one year, i never got that money back and on top now they show that i have subscribed only for a month and it has to be renewed in just a month. This seems to be a scam. I have no idea about whom to ask for my money back.
I want to use this app, but it's just too buggy. Plans are reversed (Scheduled and Flexible), fasts don't end, (my ended fast says I'm x over time yay, but I have ended the fast! It's frustrating, as I like MANY things about the app otherwise. I have sent in email about these glitches.
The app is just a clock basically. With boring slide shows. The food and hydration management was as basic as possible and very few choices to enter. You would do better just keeping a food diary of your food and water.
The app is actually fun. The artwork is really nice and I love checking it. I have the free version bc I don't want to pay for articles. I'm losing weight slowly because even though I eat less often, I still eat too much. But if I keep it up I will get to my goal weight. I highly recommend this app.
I absolutely love this app. It really keeps things simple without going overboard. But it has so much to offer with the free version. I feel good logging my info into Simple verses feeling forced! I do wish we could link Samsung Health because I have to link it to Google Fit to link my weight and steps. They're never accurate coming from Google Fit. Please consider adding Samsung Health! Thanks for an awesome app! I finally feel in control again.
first day review. great! fast to setup, basic tracking but it's simple. I imagine if it were more complex I would quit soon. this may just help me keep tracking for a fair while! looking forward to it!
I have just started using the app and so far I do like the simplicity of it...its much easier than having to count calories. I would like a bit more specificity in the food choice for example I normally eat Greek Yoghurt which Is healthier than normal yogurt (especially if sweetened) and yoghurt choices are regular or lactose free. But other than the lack of specificity it's a pretty good app
Scam app. Their ads show a cool calorie counting feature just using your camera. This feature is not available in the app. You have to pay for a trial to find that out. Don't waste your time or money!
Great app love the ease of use. Has great videos for thoes just getting started and flexible fasting plans. This app makes fasting easy. I gave it 3 stars thou due to the lack of fittness trackers that can work with the app. Would be Nice to see it work with Samsung health
Thank you for your response here on the Google Play store. Although my issue is not resolved as of yet I have received emails and I have just noticed your response here on Google Play store. I do you plan to try your program in the near future as soon as I am able and it becomes more convenient for me. I do hope that you do the kind thing and issue a refund because I did ask for one right away and I'm sure your company can see that I never used the week trial or the actual program.
Honestly it's so simple. I love that I can track a meal without having to enter recipes or points or calories. Lost 8lbs so far. It's flexible and easy to remember my fasting times. App interface is beautiful and clean.
It's a great app that helps me track my fasts and the food i eat, ensuring that I'm mindful of every bite I take. I do have a suggestion though I know this app is not a calorie counter, but I would still love it if I could also save portion sizes. That would help me keep track of how much I eat, because pizza could be one slice or the whole box, and I want to know which exactly is it
