Create flashcards in Excel/Google Sheets, save as .csv and import into the app. SO easy!! It would be awesome if there was a computer interface option as well, but I'm happy so far with the app. It's easy to edit any mistakes you make. I create multiple choice cards with the answer on the flip side, so I can't use "multiple choice/quiz" option which I can see as being helpful. It has a shuffle order which is awesome!! There's a learn option that you can remove the cards or keep them in the deck. So far the deck has no size limit, as I have 1,200 "cards" and you can adjust where on the deck you are with the slider on the bottom. It's easy to use and fabulous! If only there was a computer version. (wink wink, nudge nudge) *cough* Windows 10 *cough*
Six stars! I just wanted a simple app to create flashcards that would associate one word with another word. (SFP can do more than this, but that's all I need.) I tried another app before this one, and SFP is SO much easier to use. Operations like creating a deck and exporting the data are completely intuitive. Update: So easy to create cards on one device and transfer to another. Excellent!
The perfect minimal flashcard app. There's the option to Browse the cards that you've made (which is flipping through just like physical flashcards) as well as a quiz mode which has options of writing the definition as well as multiple choice selection. You can browse and quiz yourself on one set at a time, and there's doesn't seem to be a limit so far (and you can even backup your flashcards and share with friends around you who use the app). The one thing I would want that it doesn't include is the ability to create folders (or sets) within each set, to improve the organization. I'm not paid or anything for this, I'm just really excited about it.
The app generally is quite fluid, easy to access and navigate . It really works a treat in learning those things you have been wanting to learn in such an easy fashion. I would personally recommended all students to try it out inorder to aid their learning . I would say the only down side is it needs to extend its content a bit more, but for what it is worst, it definitely is bank for your buck.
I've enjoyed this app so far. Being able to use it offline is a huge help. My only two issues is that I kept accidentally deleting everything as I was typing the definition (Not that big of a deal unless you're typing in a long definition). The other thing is that I thought that you could add pictures to the flashcards, but it transcribes the text instead, which is helpful, but adding pictures would be a nice addition in a future update if possible. Overall, this is a really good app, thank you.
Of all the flashcard apps I've looked at this one seems like... well the simplest one. super easy to just go in and make whatever card set you're thinking of. My main complaint relates to having pictures on flash cards, it seems like they are constrained to have a certain height, so tall pictures are scaled down significantly. My flash cards are just pictures and I would like if the image could be as large as possible. I can click on the image to zoom, but I have to unzoom to switch cards.
This app serves its purpose very well. It has no ads and has no performance issues. I was unable to get the OCR to effectively work, but the voice recognition input was effective. I wish it had settings about which side of the flash card is up by default and to automatically shuffle a set. It would also be nice to have tools to aggregate sets, for comprehensive review.
Simple Flashcards Plus, is a very good flashcards app. What makes the app so good, is that its functions operate just like it reads in the app's name: SIMPLE. Just add a term and a definition for each card; and even an image can be added to that card! There's no limit to how many cards can be stored, and they can be organized in to their own category. And what makes this app even better, is that it's ad-free ... and especially ... it's free.
The app is good. Open source so no ads. Lightweight. I've already downloaded several flash card sets and I still have lots of space. Please just develop it more to the point the app can have a spaced repetition algorithm which reminds you to review what you've already learned. Of course that means that it should also have a learning mechanism. Other than that, it's dope.
Its is a great app. Its very easy to use and allows you to make flashcards bery quickly. It also lets you add pictures to your flashcards which is good as this make learning more fun and memorable. It also tests you with the flashcards to help you learn them quickly. It's an overall great app and I would recommended it. The only thing to improve the app I would suggest adding an option where you can do multiple choice questions only in the quiz as this is sometimes an easier way to learn things.
This app is great! It's especially helpful for me, a student in high school, because the data on my phone is super slow, so bring able to download sets is crucial. It works well and has an easy interface. I also like how you can say you've learned sets and have them temporarily removed from the set your learning. Having the percent on cards learned also helps.
App is simple to use and bug free. Improvements that I hope to see in the future include: marking cards to get added to a review card set (so you don't have to sift through a large set when most of the cards are learned), and the ability to move or copy cards to a different flash card set. Really appreciate the work that went into making this app.
It's a good app, but the design can be simplified. Why split the Learn and Edit to two places? It's very inconvenient when during "Browse", saw sth that you want to modify but can't, had to write it down, finish the Browse, exit, go into edit manual, look up the word need to be modified and then edit it. Why not add an edit button in the Browse mode?
The program is great for vocabulary words, but the order you put the cards in is the order it appears to give it to you. It has an option to shuffle; it just picks another spot on the list and picks up chronologically from there. I also would like to have multiple decks of cards that I can combine to eventually become one large deck for my final test... but that is not an option. BUMMER. Aside from these design flaws... the app itself is attractive and smooth functionality.
Awesome! Really clean, lightweight, and intuitive flashcard app. Great UX. Does everything I want it to with no extra junk thrown in (and no ads!). Only recommendation: interface when creating a new note card is too small (would be great to have a paragraph block or even write on full screen as if it were a notecard, rather than the current single line. Not a big issue since text wraps and doesn't seem to be a character limit). Great app overall! Thanks for building it and offering it for free!
Edited: for multiple choice quizzes, I would love an option that immediately shows the correct answer in green and wrong answers in red upon hitting Submit, before it goes to the next question. *** It's flash cards without wasting the paper and it has everything I need. Making separate decks, saving cards and scrolling through as a list, taking multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank quizzes, viewing decks by the fronts or backs of the cards, don't need to make an account, no ads, and night mode.
it is intuitive and easy to use. you sould be up and running in under 5 minutes. For the developer: It would be completely awesome if it worked like the repetitive memory systems or lienert (?) boxes or memory systems, in that it moves completed cards into a cue that automatically brings them back for review, at longer intervals as you succesfully identify or learn your cards.
This app really is brilliant. I've been using it for many different topics - it's easy to store everything neatly into folders and it's easy to find and browse the cards you want. It gives you freedom in arranging your cards to look how you want them, and allows easy and quick editing. Hugely helpful app, i love using it. Having no ads is an absolute bonus - It means no timewasting, just easily access to my cards as and when i need to read them. Thanks 😊👍
This is definitely the flashcard app that I have been looking for. I needed to create some flashcards for my CISSP studying as well as my PCIP studying and this works perfectly. I love that I can look at other shared flashcard sets and import them into my app. One thing that I think needs improvement is how the quiz separates the multiple choice answers. It is very hard to tell where one answer ends and another begins on some longer answer. Maybe provide a visible grid to box in each answer... Just a thought. Still, even with this, I love it!
This app is pretty great! It lets you ad photos, edit terms, and mark which notecards you have learned. Also, ITS FREE!!!! My only problem is that if you delete a photo from your device that was used for a notecard, the picture will also be removed from the notecards. The app also freezes when I go to the browse section, but that could just be my device, not the app.
I just got the app today and so far making cards is easy. Happy about no adds because I really just wanna study. Immediately wanted to make suggestion, however. Probably not something that the creator had in my mind, but could you consider a drawing feature? I'm trying to use this app to study Korean and it'd be much faster if I could just draw the characters with my finger(s) rather than having to use my keypad to add each one by one. Just a thought! Also, can we have an option to increase the font size. I need glasses to read and this is pretty small already. Otherwise I will review again when I'm more familiar with this app, but right now I'm pretty neutral.
Excellent app. Folders to organize sets, night mode and a bunch of handy editing, viewing and organizing options (the search feature is particularly awesome). I wouldn't ask for more. Still, it would've been great if there was an option to create an account or to back up to cloud, rather then only local storage.
Very nice app. Functional and easy to use. Unfortunately it doesn't sync data normally. I have the app installed in two different screens with the same account, and I just stare at it waiting for it to sync because it doesn't even have an option for me to refresh manually and sometimes it just never does.
Very handy, love the speak to write option, love that it let's me put long questions, and love the quiz option as well. It does need more options like a manual multiple choice quiz. For some I have the questions and the multiple choice answers. Some more suggestions that I hope you'll add: ability to change the background color, highlight/pen feature, ability to mix all the cards together and not just by set, and a quiz for all the sets combined into one big quiz to test your overall knowledge.
Of the three flashcard apps I have tried this has been one of the easiest to setup picture flashcards, (100 a set so any difference is appreciated) and the only one to port these at all from my old phone. The images didn't port, but I expect I'd need to setup cards to images in a cloud drive in order not to break this. Though now, I'm curious though how images are shared from other users. Good user base, but a rating system is needed to help the good content bubble up.
Very useful app. I love the backup and restore feature soI won't lose any cards. But there is a problem in the separation of edit and browse mode as I mentioned in email. I have problem with the update process. It ceases to download on 75 percent of process. This new version must be considerable.
It's great & is being a huge help to me. Ever since I downloaded this app, I've been recommending it to my friends. Here are a few suggestions though: an edit button while browsing, being able to rearrange flashcards while editing, & an option to continue from last flashcard browsed. See if they work. But if they don't, that's ok, it's already great as it is. 5 stars cuz u deserve it. hihi
Good and simple. I wish the results of the quiz would be used to create the further test based on the wrong answers. Also, a wrong answer may happen just because of a coma or another detail, it would be great to be allowed to double check the wrong ones ourself and to change their status. Thanks for this simple and free helpful app anyway!
