Simple Handicap: Golf Handicap Calculator

Great golf app! Simple to use and very useful. I would love to see it show my current scoring average, say for the last 20 rounds.

Saves all your registered rounds not just the previous 20 scores which is a good feature. Only negative for me is the inability to change the U.S date format. Best free handicap calculator I've used so far though.

Great little app for golfers who don't always want to publish their handicap. Perhaps in a future it will give you a choice of date layout.

This app showed exactly the same golf handicap as the other golf handicap app I was previously using. Therefore I found it to be accurate and easy to navigate.

Easy to log scores and courses. Keeps me up to date with my handicap even though I am not affiliated. There is also a cloud feature for you to save your data for when you switch devices. Easy to back up and not lose scores and course information.

Awesome app. Easy to use. Just set up your course settings & enter your scores. Doesn't get any easier than that. Thank you for a simple way of keeping up with my handicap!

Easy to use , excellent for keeping track on any course and scores

Pretty basic but I like it, easy to use and does the job. Suggested improvements: -Put a * next to the scores that are currently being used in the calculation. -Add a graph on the dashboard that shows the handicap after each of the last 8 or 10 rounds. -Being able to output the data as a .csv file would be a nice advanced feature to add at some point. This app is off to a great start and has a lot going for it - straightforward interface, good usability, and lives up to its name (Simple Handicap). However, it's missing some fundamental aspects of golf that hold it back from really being a go-to handicap app. (I will award more stars if these are added!) 1. There is no notion of tee boxes in this app. As every golfer knows, there are multiple tee boxes per course, each with its own course rating and slope. As it stands, you need to create a new course for each tee box. 2. 9 hole rounds aren't supported, which is a big drawback. 9 hole rounds are a fact of life for golfers. Even if you only play 18 hole rounds, 9 hole rounds happen due to weather issues, darkness, etc. Also there's some great 9-hole courses that stand on their own merits. 3. The app needs to have a handicap history chart and more stats. 4. There's some other small things, like the course list should be alphabetized, etc. This app has such potential and I'm looking forward to seeing future versions!

It's a fine app for a simple buddy buddy handicap. It's necessary if you don't belong to a USGA Certified course but need a handicap. It works great and exactly as described, I'm giving 4 stars only because it's not associated with any courses and doesn't have any courses saved into it's database to choose from. But it's a fine app and I'd download it if you're not a member of a certified club.

Was a great app when first purchased. It was exactly what it said "simple" and easy to use. Recently tho there has been some sort of update and the app wouldn't open. When it did all my 35+ rounds had been lost/deleted, I tried to recover the data via email but it is now saying "There is no data for the provided email"

Not a free app. Tried to charge my card. Luckily was denied.

It does what it says with no interfering pop-up advertising or up-selling. Very easy to use. It would be nice to have one screenshot showing the scores of the last 20 rounds highlighting the 8 rounds used for calculating the handicap (similar to NCGA).

Very awesome app. Only suggestion is to make it easier to enter a 27 hole course? Unless im missing something, but i just enter three 9 hole courses, or enter two out of the three 9s as an 18 (then somehow make up the course rating/slope), and i do that 3 times. (Red-Blue, Red-White, Blue-White, etc)

Good app, but would like to be able to put in dates of my past rounds. I just started using this and when I went in to the app to put in previous rounds, there was no way to add the date. Also, if I can't put a round in right away, I would be nice to put in the proper date. Thanks

Very easy app to use. No ads to inturupt does exactly what it's ment to do. Just add your course ratings then put in your rounds and it does all the work for you. It's great. Fully recommend.

Almost perfect app, only thing lacking is converting the index to course handicap. This would not a difficult addition to achieve one of the best apps around. Update: Thanks for adding course handicap. You now have a 5 plus app!

It's perfect. It's simple, minimalist, and I got my handicap calculated without having to join a USGA club. If the maker of this app is reading this, you did a phenomenal job. I literally have no suggestions on how to improve it.

Simple to use. Doesn't track exactly with club systems as they have hole data and it stableford adjusts to net double bogeys but otherwise it's fine. Good if you're not a member or if you're running a society handicap system.

Clean user interface that makes it easy to track scores. Saves courses to quickly add your round at your favorite spots. Makes it easy to track your progression as a golfer

Lovely app. Just what I need to easily keep a record of my rounds and my current handicap. When I had a small glitch with the software, the developer immediately corrected it with an update. Delighted!

This app helps a lot to calculate golf handicap. The user interface is very smooth and excellent. The dashboard is well organized with rounds and courses.

Simple, manual input. No fees or costs. Would be great if it had a database of courses and their slopes etc, but I can easily look them up.

A handy tool to work out my handicap. It works very well and everyone in our social group uses it. It makes playing the game very fair and competitive. The support is also excellent if ever you have a problem. I continue to monitor my handicap each round I play. Once you understand how this App works, it's a proper gem.

So far so good, only added 4 rounds so not sure if it has a cap on rounds.

im new to golfing and wanted an accurate way to see what my handicap is. This app was easy to use and will give you your handicap after 5 rounds. Definitely smoother running than other similar apps.

I really like this app. Nice clean interface and very simple to use. One question for Breetz the developer: I have golf courses entered that I'm unlikly to play again, but I entered these courses and scores so I could maintain my handicap. If I delete these course from the app will it affect my handicap? Thank you.

It is a simple easy to use app. It would have been 5 if it could discover courses instead of manually entering them all.
