Simple LAN Chat

A simple lightweight application that allow users to chat on the same Local Area Network through simple UDP packets broadcasts.

The app requires a WiFi connection and will allow two or more people that are connected to the same network to chat in a most basic manner.

It opens a UDP protocol, listens to all data on the port (1050 by default) and sends a UDP broadcasts to communicate. It also has dark mode. It can be used to have a little fun and learn about data transfer.

The app is built with Flutter and is open-source on Github.

I would very much appreciate clickable links in a chat, so as to quickly share links between local devices. Also, is it already possible to chat connect with Windows users on the same network? (and how?)
